Ive used these guys for several repairs always quick and the repairs seem to be done correctly. In fact they even completed repairs the other guys in town could not.Ive been have been having issues with the microphone on my iPhone. A quick call and less than 5 mins in the store it was fixed and i was on my way.Never any funny business like some of their competitors. Just quick, professional, on time repairs.

Macbook air, had fluid damage, CPR charged me $35 just for diagnosis and told me that it could not be repaired. However, some else was able to fix it and now it is working flawlessly.

I had the taxi rush me over there having had trouble getting my backup phone to work on public wifi and call them. I get there at about 652p and they had closed early. I had called earlier that day aksing for an estimate and the man who answered gave me a quote and said theyd be open until 7p that day. I told him I might bring it in later, but they didnt bother to wait. I was angstful and frustrated over the money and time spent getting there and they were already gone bef closing time. Totally dark, not even anyone still in the store...

The customer service at CPR is absolutely fantastic. When the battery and charging port on my pixel 3XL needed to be replaced they were able to quickly diagnose and repaired my issue. I had an issue with the microphone after the repair but when I told them about the issue the had the problem fixed within the hour. I highly reccomend CPR for any device repairs that need to be made. Ill definitely be a repeat customer for any issues I may face in the future.

Excellent job. I would have given 6 stars if I could.I took my 2013 MacBook Pro for battery replacement. The dude gave me a no-nonsense flat price, I made a deposit for the battery. A few days later he called me when the battery has arrived then replaced it in less than 2 hours. He also replaced some long lost screws on the body and vacuumed the cooling fan for free. I did not ask for it, he just did it. Im very happy.

I was told it would take 4 hours to replace broken screen on my ipad. It was finished in 1 hour. Technician was friendly and very courteous.

I wouldnt give CPR cell phone repair in South Reno, Damonte Ranch shopping center even 1star. They had my phone for 15 days. Ordered wrong part, then they claimed the USPS lost the other part. Then Danny the technician didnt put my phone back together completely. He left out a screw. My phone blinked on and off for 10 more days while I was out of town. They are VERY RUDE, BOTH TECHNICIAN AND THE GAL UP FRONT! I went back to show them where screw was missing and phone was all scratched up because Danny denied scratching my phone up and leaving a screw out. Then they tried to tell me they didnt have a screw and I would have to leave my phone while they ordered part(A SCREW). All in all I drove 280 total miles dealing with these rude people, paid $113 dollars for a repair that took 15 days and they didnt even put it together completely. I honestly think someone cannot be that incompetent or he just intentionally did that so I would have problems in the future. WORST PLACE EVER! DO NOT TAKE YOUR DEVICE THERE. HORRIBLE SERVICE, SHOTTY WORK AND THEIR ATTITUDES SUCK! NEVER AGAIN! I should have read the reviews first!

I had an iPhone 6 with a cracked screen and they said they could fix it no problem, they were done the same day! The same phone was given to my son last week with the screen cracked again....they replaced it with no problem again! They are very reasonably priced and the customer service is top notch! Ive never had a device screen crack before so I was worried this was going to be a difficult thing to fix but it wasnt! The team was so friendly and helpful, and my iPad was fixed in about an hour for a very reasonable price.

Jell-o got in my Galaxy S6 Edge. Yes, Jell-o. Long story, but the start button and speaker were not working, nor could I talk on it, so I took it in to Power Up and the very nice young man cleaned it up for me, got my start button to work, the speaker was also louder, I can do everything on it except talk on it. They were extremely helpful and know their stuff- recommended it would be safer to get a new phone. They didnt charge me and still gave me excellent courteous customer service.

My nintendo switch joystick was broken and they half fixed it. Its works however it has a drift and I would be charged extra for the drift that they caused. Wouldnt recommend for nintendo switch. Everything else maybe but not coming back again

I somehow broke the screen on the back of my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and it was badly affecting my camera! :( my husband called and asked about repair, they gave us a quote and said typically your device can be returned same day. I was very happy to hear that! We brought my phone in and they worked it up and although the technician had a broken hand they still said same day return. Also the quote stayed the same. They ended up being finished with the repair pretty quick and I got my phone back good as new! I really appreciated the fast service even with a technician working with a broken hand! Thats talent! Was experiencing short battery life and erratic operation on my phone. Technician found the battery was failing. Even though it was not hot and looked fine, the tech showed me that it was actually bloated, twice as thick as it was supposed to be. Replaced battery. Fixed.

CPR Cell Phone Repair was wonderful to work with. I own a local small business and lost one of my iPad Air 2 cash registers (due to a bad battery) during my busiest time of year. CPR understood the emergency of my situation, ordered a replacement battery and had me fully operational within three days. Ill be using this local business again in the future!

The employees were very helpful and professional! They replaced my power button on my galaxy s3 and it works great, almost better than new. They even stayed open after hours to help me when my touchscreen decided not to work. I would go back to this place in a heartbeat!

My old cell phone was overheating and I couldnt open it. I thought it needed a new battery, so I took it to Batteries +. They couldnt replace the battery there, so recommended CPR. CPR was very polite and suggested running a $25 diagnostic to verify the problem (the $25 would be applied to whatever fix was necessary). They didnt want to just sell me an $80 battery until they knew that was the problem. Turns out the phone is just old, overheating, solders going, and it just needs to be replaced. There was nothing they could do to fix it. I appreciate that it only cost me $25 to find out instead of taking my amateur word for it and installing an $80 battery that would have been useless.

Outstanding Service- Went in today to get my iphones charge port fixed. Turned out to be a quick and easy fix. The Guy there was outstanding and knew exactly what he was doing. Great Service there he was very happy to help with my problem I would recommend this place to anyone 10/10

This place replaced the screen on my phone and while I was asleep on the screen cracked and I found a loose spot where the crack spidered from and they refused to take responsibility for the damage and where only willing to replace the screen if I paid for a new. It seems pretty unreasonable that only after 2 weeks and what seem like to me a screen that was improperly installed that they would refuse to correct their mistake. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I never physically intimidated any of your employees but I did use the f bomb and I will continue to steer people clear of your store until you guys learn how to properly install a phone screen. I have read other reviews on other websites and this isn’t the first that this has happened.

The staff appear very professional and clear, however, they gave me an impression that there is a high likelihood that they will fix my iPad after examining it, and collecting a diagnostic fee, then they asked for an additional fee for trying to fix it, and they failed yet they still charged for trying to fix it fee. Well, that either means your diagnosis was wrong or you dont know how to fix what you diagnose or both.

I made an appointment to have a new charging port placed in my cell phone. The cost was reasonable, the service was great and it took less than two hours to make the repair. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for electronics repair.

By far the best repair location Ive been to in Reno. The sprint store told me that my phone was not fixable. The guy at Power Up told me the opposite. He fixed my phone in half a day and it works perfectly. Totally recommend Power Up 100%

I took my iPhone here after another shop said they fix the water damage but my phone was still not working correctly. Power up fix it 100% and it works great now. Also great customer service and had it done in an hour.

Terrible customer service. I had my screen fixed on my I-pad fixed here, and it worked great, until it came time to download the next update. Since then it started ghost touching so bad I cant even finish the update. When I brought it back they said it was out of the 60 warranty and wouldnt fix the screen they put on. I havent been able to use my iPad since and its because of them. Save your money and go somewhere that takes care of their customers.

Extremely untrustworthy. Took my iPhone 7 Plus in for water damage repair, and the shop changed more parts then I authorized them to, and attempted to charge me for them. Specifically, the battery. Upon suspicion, I had them put the original battery that they declared “unoperational” back in. The battery was fine, they had lied and replaced more than what was needed. Never going back again.Edit: Reporting this specific stores actions to the BBB, Reno has no room for shady corporate businesses.

About a few months ago,I broken my chromebooks charger input .I was about to get a new computer that cost 115 dollars, but my mom took the computer to this shop.She only paid 73 dollars which was great.The people were willing to fix it within a week or so and they were openly friendly. I would like to go to this repair store again if I need any Technology repair.

I had the power button on my Galaxy go missing and I called Danny at Power up. Not only did he call me back to let me know he had the spare part I needed within minutes, he didnt charge me! Stopped by with my sons iPad2 that had the jack from his headphones stuck in after dropping it. The lady at the counter cheerfully took it back behind the wall to have a technician work on it and let me know what they could do. She returned a few minutes later with the pieces cleared out of the jack and handed it back at no charge. I would definitely recommend. Thanks again.

I came in just past the deadline for same day repair when ordering a replacement piece, in my case a battery for my Samsung tablet. It wasnt charging past 36%. So instead of ordering a new battery and having to wait, the guy said hell try unplugging the battery and see if that will help. He also gave me a Samsung plug charger for free since my charger was a different brand and I guess samsung tablets are picky and charge better with Samsung chargers. Low and behold, it worked! Will definitely be returning if anything goes wrong with my electronics. Very polite and informative.

I am really upset and disappointed. I took my moto z Droid for a screen replacement... They replaced it. However, I was not able to unlock the phone since it had been a year with no use I forgot the code. They were suppose to run a diagnostic but couldnt. They lady told me to run it through my service provider to help me unlock which I did... I come to find out the front screen camera is not working properly . I called and she said they can fix it for an extra charge since they couldnt run a diagnostic. After the first bill of around $220. Its just really upsetting ..couldve taken it elsewhere.

Went in to get my phones charge port fixed and was told there was a chance they could break the screen while doing so at cost to me. Should have probably realized something was up when they told me this three times then told me they were going to have a less experienced technician work on it but I needed my phone for job hunting and was in a bind. Sure enough, the screen was accidentally broken and a $75 fix became $300. Was going to let it go but woke up today, just a few weeks later, and the charge port on my phone is no longer working again. Scammers. Do not give them your business.

My screen protecter warranty stated I can go here to have a new one done. The lady said they were out of them and didnt know when they would get new ones in. When I started to ask If they could order it, she interrupted me and said just do it online, not here, it will be easier that way .

I needed a screen repair for a samsung galaxy x6 active. I walked in and the lady was not helpful, told me they would not work on that type of phone and neither would anyone else, specifically said I could call other places and they would not be able to help me either, that I had no options. I have sense gotten quotes to fix it at 3 other local repair shops, it wont be cheap but I want the files/access back and its still cheaper than a new phone. This place also smelled awful and seemed to be filled with off-gassing chemicals.

These guys have always been helpful for multiple repairs Ive done over the years, even custom ones where I have my own parts and just need the work done.

They ran a diagnostic on my old gaming system. Serivice was completed as promised and device was not repairable, which I expected. This review would be higher if it wasn’t for the extremely condescending and contemptuous explanation given by the gentleman at the counter. There’s no need to make your customers feel stupid when they come to you specifically for help about repairs they don’t know how to do themselves.

They repaired my cell phone over night, they were very pleasant to deal with and did excellent work.

Took in my Samsung GS4 for screen repair, which was visibly cracked b/c I dropped it (cracked despite shell). Tech fixed it, for almost $200. But then it stopped working shortly thereafter even though there was no trauma. I explained this to the tech but he said unfortunately, it was just outside the 3 mos. warranty window. I said I thought the 3 mos. warranty was too short given what I paid & that it was well below industry avg for parts & service. He said hed look at it & see what they could do if I didnt cause the trauma. After inspection, he said he saw pressure trauma. I didnt put any on it. We were at a standstill. But he offered to fix it at cost of part (another ~$100). I thought it was a raw deal b/c I definitely did not drop it or do anything that would cause that. And I suspected they used inferior parts or simply installed it improperly & were leaving me to hold the bag for approaching $300. But given Id have to pay full price if I went elsewhere, I felt like it was my best option. So I paid again to have him fix it. This time, I made them write on the receipt that if it failed again within a longer period (6mos.), hed fix it again free.It then recurred - screen simply went entirely black. Worked one minute, black the next. Once again, I didnt drop it & there are no visible cracks. So I called them & said, its well within that window & it failed again. are you going to honor the warranty. They said no - the warranty was only for screen separation. That was certainly not the spirit of the deal, I dont even know what that means & certainly doesnt capture normal wear & tear defects. After some back-and-forth, they agreed to look at it.Upon review, they said it was cracked. They sent me pictures of the crack. I wrote back that I did not drop it, scratch it, or put any pressure on it beyond normal usage. In addition, I have seen screens cracked into 50 pieces that still work going on 2 years. Moreover, prior to the initial crack that brought me into their store, I dropped that phone many times & never had a problem. Therefore, I do not believe either that said mark (however it got there) shouldve caused this type of problem or this problem shouldve occurred under normal use if it were Samsung parts properly installed, or that I caused it for that matter. But they wont stand by it.When they returned the phone to me, I looked again & you almost cant even find the blemish they refer to. Theres a minute line, almost imperceptible. I peeled back the screen protector & there is no visible crack. I do not believe this couldve caused the screen to malfunction. And if it did, theres no telling how it got there b/c its been covered the whole time w/a protector & stays in the holster.While I thought they were cheapest at first, I yet again learned the hard way that you get what you pay for. Theyre going to use faulty parts or do a poor install & then leave you holding a useless paperweight. Steer clear.
