9-11-21 SaturdayWent to Walmart in Reno because my local store in Payson Arizona was out of car chargers. I need the C-type, which I had a couple of choices.Sylvia waited on me she was very helpful and I was on my way in no time. This store has a Home department which my store doesnt.Blessings, John

Customer service is always poor at this store. I tried curbside pickup and called for 15 minutes when I arrived and nobody picked up. I went in to see what was up and it took almost an hour to get the 3 of the 5 items I ordered. The 2 the said they were out of stock on they did have. It was a bad experience typical of that store. The only good I have to say is it is a convienant location just dont expect much.

Slow customer service when ever I go to the electronics department I can never get help its really annoying and Ive tried having a worker paged for help and I stand there forever finally after about 6-8 employee pagings I have to leave. Not one manager showed up either. Poor service. Very poorAdding to this because I ordered groceries and I did not receive all well more than half of my order. I cant get anyone to answer the phone when I call and I had to call the 800 # and did not get my money back. So now I have to go down there and see if I can talk to a manager. Horrible because they are railroading people. Taking our money and doing what ever they want with it. Terrible customer service!!!! I would not shop here. I wont be anymore!!!!

This is a different store Im not in Sacramento CA anymore. Im now in Reno NV. The store is definitely a nice place, the arrangement of the store is definitely different, the atmosphere is different its like being in new place with different attitudes. Im new to this Reno NV store and to the Reno NV area.

No carts were available. Most of staff is friendly. Loss prevention greater watched me check out and struggle to carry out my groceries by hand and still made me stop to check my receipt, causing me to drop all of my stuff. I felt like he did that on purpose just to inconvenience me. Other than that it was a decent experience

If you are looking 4 it. They probably have it. Its a Walmart. You should know what youre getting into. This one wasnt special

Absolutely the worst story Ive ever shopped at and that is saying something coming from the East Coast! None of the registers are ever open besides the liquor aisle and if you want to go through self-checkout you have to use a card only they do not allow you to use cash at the self-checkout how ridiculous is that! Seems like you get penalized because you have cash in your pocket instead of a card. I stood in line for 25 mins this morning waiting for my soda and a pack of smokes. This is my last time shopping at this store.

Theyre so understaffed to the point that its nearly impossible to get anything thats locked behind their glass. And to add to that, nearly any time you go there something you need is out of stock. I do not blame the employees, I know its all corporates fault, and Walmart isnt really a place I like to shop because of how poorly its managed.

This Walmart tends to be out of stock of a lot of items, prices are not correct either. The shelf says one thing and it rings up as another. Their customer service is lacking.

This Vista Knolls Walmart seems to always be dirty and the shelves are empty. More than one time I have seen expired dairy products, including ice cream and bakery items. They also have mouse traps everywhere which is common but shouldnt be out in the open all over the place where patrons can trip on them. Thats disgusting. There are also very few helpful staff members that arent rude as hell or 13 years old it seems, and have zero idea what theyre doing or where anything is in the store.

The worst possible service I’ve ever seen been waiting one whole hour to pick up a door dash order and then get put last in line when I was here first out of 7 people. You guys burned my time, money and patience. DON’T DELIVER FOR WALMART they will waste your time and money

It was the last days of Hot August Nights and the day before school began. What can I say. I am nuts for going. However besides being crowded as hell, the self check out went fast. The employees were great. You know they were overwhelmed but they were still calm and collected.

The service was good, the wait time was long but it is understandable, they dont have a lot of people working there. They helped me the best they could. The bad review is for corporate not caring about workers or customers.

This store ALWAYS has ridiculous lines, very few cashiers, self check people seem oblivious to this. Poorly stocked, unless you need Christmas decorations the day after Halloween. Apparently there is no supply chain issues with that.

Not a lot of gluten free food selections. While I was waiting for the bathroom to be cleaned, the store manager was having a little meeting with employees. The profanity used by one of the employees within ear shot of a customer was shocking. Manager didnt even bother to correct the employee.

Good place to buy your groceries my friends

I really dislike going to Wally World but it does have some really good prices on certain items. I usually buy there when they have a certain item in stock and it is the lowest price.

Large store, always busy but never crowded. Plenty of room to park a semi truck to pickup groceries.

Calling store and no one picks up in the department im calling then I call to speak to customer service. Someone will pick up they will say something then just hang up

Always clean and busy. Make sure you go early in the day. No matter how thourough the staff is at restocking the volume of traffic can make it hard to keep shelves fully stocked.

Walmart is my store to go to as I say to all the employees a day without Walmart is like a day without sunshine

Like most of the other Walmarts in Nevada. This one is very well stocked. The neighborhood was very nice.

They could do way less than they do and wouldnt lose any customers!Above and beyond what they need or must do to remain solvent.May they thrive,so we can. 1st place I go on shopping days!Waste of money to go anywhere else first!

Second worst Walmart I have ever visited. Worst in Nevada. I mean best. Definitely the best, go here instead of clogging up the lines at any other location. Spanish speaking is a plus.

Inventory is low...the check out lines are ALWAYS EXTREMELY long, with handful of employees standing around having personal conversations. Then if you do get an employees assistance, they act like they cant be bothered or its not their job to help customers. Your employees get paid entirely way too much to give this sort of service.

Electric chairs for handicap customers are not allowed to go outside. My friend had to get walker out of the car and go in. I had to push the walker rather than a grocery cart for her. Limits the amount she was able to purchase.

Waited online for self checkout almost 10 mins. Then I was informed it was credit card only. Had to get back in line Again for 15 mins for cash. once at exit another line for receipt inspection.

Nice area. Not RV-friendly. Dropped my wife off at the shop and security was right on me to let me know. No RV parking overnight, however, security did make a point to wish us happy shopping. Maybe we should think before spending our $ at this Walmart next time. Happy camping

Always packed do to only 1-3 registrars out of 13 available. If there were more open in this time of virus over load then it would be faster, safer, and more jobs for the proper in need

Good deals, clean, stocked, quick check-out, parking availability, grocery carts where is n good working order. Customer service was efficient and lines were short.

So difficult to get your in store Pick up orders. Kiosk doesnt work and nobody answered the phone you need to call, couple of times I just canceled the order because I cant find anyone. Frustrating!

This place is plagued with problems like insufficient staff, few checkout lines open, and can be pretty dirty too.On the other hand, Walmart is so great for shopping to get almost anything I need. I wish we had better options, but its getting harder and harder for small stores to compete.

This is the place we usually shop for snacks and drinks when staying in Reno. Its convenient, but it sure has gone downhill since my last visit. Granted, that was pre-covid...but I would think cleanliness would improve for that reason. Just not a fan of the W anyway, anywhere.

Pickup took over an hour even though they said my stuff was ready. They ignored my car and went around to everyone else and did me very last even though I was there before a lot of those people. 2. Be wary of expired foods. The yogurt I purchased today expired over a month ago. Would not recommend this poor excuse of a Walmart.

I try to work there but that seemed impossible I was almost as if nobody worked there in the store was slow there was pallets of things all over the place I only found one employee and when I asked if she could help me,she told me she could not even find anybody else that could because she was new. Made no sense. I even went to the cashier so check out and she was not able to assist me at all and all I wanted to do was check a couple prices of something because there were no price tags. I ended up leaving without making a purchase at all

Good no many people and always I find out what I need plus the location is very accessible

We were there today thought we had found a good deal on one of the Lego star wars sets. Turns out they had stocked them incorrectly and had the wrong price posted. Would not honor the price because they said the price tag label was for an other item a manager was called over, tried to claim that customers sometime move price tags showed and explained that the items looked to be stocked that way4 other people were looking to get the same item because of the price shown the staff and manager need to go back though training on what customer service is and make sure staff are following the correct stocking procedures. Seems that the quality of the staff has gone done in recent years. Thinking that target is a better shopping experience then going to Walmart

Policies like the one in effect at this walmart are part of the reason that Amazon will take walmart down. I purchased a shredder at a walmart that was convenient and it wasnt big enough for my needs, so I came to this one (again convenient and walmart) to return the shredder and purchase one that costs practically twice the amount. Since this branch does not return products from another store I have to drive across town to return the product and at that point I will not purchase the other one from Wal-Mart, Ill use Amazon. The return policy should be expressed at time of purchase or made very clear throughout the process here because it leads to horrible customer satisfaction.

Always a mess, employees dont care about much. I worked here years ago and they have favorites. Honestly, I was just there for show, I wasnt really needed at this location. Was dismissed like I didnt matter. Bathrooms are smelly, people steal all the time. Be careful buying body spray for men or women. Even the employees have seen people grab the sprays, especially the Axe, put it in their junk and spray themselves. So gross. People will grab food and eat it walking around the store and just hide the trash behind food on the shelves and itll start to smell. If the managers dont care, employees wont care either.

It is the absolute worst Walmart I have ever been in, I tried to call customer service and nobody answered, there was broken salsa on the floor, I couldnt find an associate, I put a cart over it before someone fell. No hot food, hotdogs etc. Went to the deli for hot food and I waited, nobody for minutes, and left . Its a Damm shame!

We found it a saving grace. This might seem silly to some... My husband needed a restroom. Not an option for alot of business in your area. We spotted Walmart and knew he wouldnt be denied a natural.

This Walmart and the one near the Atlantis casino, both have the same problem. If you wanna pay with cash at least before 10am, every time which was many many times, there are no self checkouts that take cash and on one staff run checkout, and the line has never been less than 6 people in front of me. Open another register please! Lots of staff walking around looking lost during this time too. Im not 100% about the American Indian land store, but they have a similar problem if you wanna buy hard liquor.Very long line. More cash paying checkouts please. Very bad situation.

Hit or miss quality produce, poorly tagged/price labeling, chaos in health/beauty/ vitamins and supplement section all departments full of spot fillers instead of quality selection and choice late shoppers are SOL... Attentive Friendly and Time Efficient Pharmacy!!# most problems of course due to covid 19 virus! Employees keep accusing my daughter of sterling when she has already scanned and bagged items she is about to pay for and every time at self checkout and never one apology!!! Almost give it no stars for that but I want to be honest And fair🤕

As far as Wal-Marts go, this one is fine. Mgmt. Does not keep this store stocked up very well as it gets later in the evening. So, I guess the earlier you can get there, the better. Im only guessing because I, myself, cant seem to get there before 6 or 7 pm.

I have no problem with the people who work for the Wall mart here. Any time I walk in and need to know wear a item is or if it sold out of the store. They are right on it. I love details about the things I spend my money on.

I went there to pick up an online order. The kiosk was gone. I called the phone number there for pickup. It kept going to voice-mail. The app was no help either. I still dont have my item. On top of all that, they werent enforcing mask mandates.

Clean, well stocked, fast and efficient shopping for essentials and basic home and life needs.

The store is always busy, most the staff is pleasant however I have had a few runs with staff cause they want you to use self checkout, I tell no I dont work here, its your job, nit to mention I hear people all the time saying that they walk out with items not scanned, Walmart your loosing money.

They have next to no lines open. Instead of opening more they close lines. Theres only two lines for cash and theyre long as heck. Theres more lines for cards than money while a lot of people dont use cards. They need to get their stuff together.. They should open more lines in a pandemic instead of having very little lines and groups of people going half-way across the store. Covid spreads faster that way.

They do a good job at keeping the check-out lines moving now.

Worst place to shop at I always go here and getting fed up with the lines worst customer service. Mom wanted to buy a gold chain, waited for an hour noone shows up. Youll think with covid this bad they would limit people in or have more cashier nope Walmart seem like they dont care as long as they get sales.

The person who checks receipts at the door was a little rude. First off I have my receipts already in my hand especially because we bought something too big for a big and its not my first time at a Walmart I know they check receipts. Its like he automatically assumed we were stealing something. Then he looks and goes you didnt steal anything . Like why was it necessary for him to even say that.

Super frustrating my Dad and I were on a kiosk. We were both struggling navigating through the system. We asked each of the three employees behind counter for help. We were told they didnt know anything about the kiosk machines. And laughed wishing us luck. They didnt find someone to help us. Nothing. Continued with their personal conversations. We were furious and left.

Pretty Good Parking Self Check Outs Are The Way To Go! The Self Check Outs At This Store Are Great If There Is A Line It Goes Pretty Quick So Your Ours The Store If Ya Know What Your Doing Pretty Darn Fast! At Least I Think So!

I went in there looking for a satchel and some bananas and I was able to get what I was looking for and I was also able to pay in cash which is which is rare nowadays and so it was a great experience

The worst Wal Mart ever! The employees are rude. The shelves are always empty. There is never no checkers working the check outs the lines to check out are longer than a prison sentence. You cant pay with cash at self checkouts only a third of the self. Checkouts are open. Then you have to wait in line to get out of the store so they can inventory your items. This store is a disgrace to what Sam Walton invisioned. Shop else where.

Easy to navigate to, has a well marked side area for grocery pick up, and the employees are nice! Only downside is that a few times I went not everything was well stocked and it might take a bit in line at the end of the night to check out-- but it is better than the other walmart in town!

Auto is great for tires. The store is well stocked, friendly people.

We had a time slot of 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. got there at 9 a.m. signed in 10 a.m. still didnt have our groceries at 10:30 I went in the store to talk to the store manager and really never resolved anything when I finally got home looking through all my groceries I realized that they had forgot to put in my coffee so now I get to go back after work one day this week to get my coffee

They cant get the curbside orders picked, nobody will answer the phone. Management does nothing. Avoid this place. All they tell you is order through doordash or go inside and get it yourself.

Allot of homeless people around and in this walmart. Never had a bad experience but only go there when I have to.

Very low mask compliance ratio and nobody is enforcing it. The garden section was closed off for no reason. Some staff hardly speak English, but are mostly helpful. Seems like they carry smaller grocery items for the same price as the normal size at Winco. Pretty clean store.

Worst staffed store in the whole area. 31 people in lines to check out . 1 of 2 can & go self checkouts is almost always closed . The other only 4 o 19 machines function! Consistently like this. Awful management.

First, this is NO supercenter.They only carry a fraction of what supercenters carry while the actual supercenters dont want you shopping there if you live near this one.Shelves are always empty. They actually refuse to carry certain items especially if they suspect that it might be used by homeless or vehicle dweller.Again, God forbid you go to another store to try and buy it. If other Walmarts suspect that you live around this one they literally dont want you there.Why do they even Bother having a building there?

Never made it inside the store. This locations parking lot is full of hoodlums and very scary people. We parked the car getting ready to step out and we were immediately asked for money...within seconds a fight broke out outside the main door between 2 women in thier mid 20s...one of the gals was seriously hurt. We got back in the vehicle and as we started backing out someone actually tried to open the back door of our vehicle. Not once did we see security 🤔.

Worst customer service experience ever. Grabbed jeans that didnt have a price tag on em and was the last pair of that size. When asked for self check out monitor to help she didnt... Basically said nothing other than hmmm theres no sku...... Ummm duh my thoughts... Call someone to grab a similar pair same brand or something and send em over but no. I had to walk through the store with half my stuff wrung up at self check out and go fetch a similar pair myself... Leaving my stuff at register. People wanna check without working their position.

We waited an HOUR for somebody to come to jewelery to open the case and got told over and over someone was coming, the jewelry person who apparently is the only one with the key is coming. Nobody came. The only people who tried to help were Robert, 2 kind people who it was their 3rd day and another girl working in the face mask section and NOBODY would even help them. This was the WORST walmart experience ever. This walmart should be ashamed. even the manager didnt have a key? Unacceptable.

Always packed takes 10-15 minutes to check out. However they do want to give you a good customer service experience! That in my opinion is worth a short wait.

Worst place to go to in reno! I drive a little bit further as my 2 favorite walmarts are in spanish springs or lemmon valley. I will go out of my way to have a better shopping experience than 2nd street can offer.DONT EVER DO PICKUP AT THIS LOCATION!!! I REPEAT DO NOT CHOSE PICKUP AT THIS LOCATION!!!! I spent over an hour waiting for my pick up order called the number stated outside in the designated orange pickup area just automatically forwards you to voicmail, i then went inside spoke to an associate he verified my order said someone would be with me shortly apologized for the wait but still no one ever came out. I canceled my order and went to lemmon valley. Complete waste of my time as this has happened almost every time i go to this location. I thought since it was early in the day it wouldnt be a problem boy was i wrong for giving this store more chances just to be left frustrated and dissappointed.
