Since moving to Reno this is my first choice to buy silver and gold locally. Their knowledge is extensive to say the least and they wont try to pressure you into buying more than what you want and have never given me below spot on anything I have sold. Their premiums are the lowest around without a question, if you are starting out or just looking for an honest place to get your precious metals, this is the best place in this quarter of the entire state.

First time buyer 10/12/21 and very impressed by the owner and son They were so helpful and knowledgeable. Really appreciated the direction given to me on what to buy for price and value. I was well cared for and even walked to my car with my purchase. Sierra Silver and Gold is now the only I will go for precious metals. They did have the best price I could find too.

Honest owner. Best deal on silver and gold in Reno. Both buying and selling. I have been a repeat customer for over 25 years. Every time I travel to Reno from Washington, I stop in.

I met Cody this morning as a walk-in customer. Cody and his Family (Father Tom) started the process by explaining the way they separate the jewelry and scrap pieces. He quickly tested each piece and used his loupe to look for marks and such. While he was going over the pieces he explained the differences in the way jewelry was marked by finest of the gold purity. He gave me honest explanations of a few pieces I had and I was not pressured to sell anything I did not want to. He even recommended I hang on to one piece in particular. I liked that.Once everything was tested, weighed, and we agreed on a price, he rounded up, and I was given cash for my gold scrap.It was a 5 Star experience and I will be back in the future. I even sent a recommendation right away to another person I knew who was looking to sell a few items.I felt like I received a fair price for my items, and knowledge of what I had left. This is customer service at its best! Face to face, no pressure, at a fair price for both consumer and business man.

I visited this shop for the first time a couple days ago, and could not be more impressed by the extensive knowledge and professionalism of this establishment. Cody and his dad showed me an extensive selection of coins, and were honest and frank with me about finding a collectible coin for my friend who collects coins. I couldnt recommend them more! Tom and Cody are amazing. I bring all my business to them, from gold scrapping (if I dont feel like saving it for the refinery) to stone testing, and advice. Ive been bringing business to these guys for about 2 years now and they never fail to deliver the best silver prices youll find in town. Usually they charge between $1 to $2 over spot, which is pretty good compared to some of their competitors. Cody and Victor you guys rock!
