Their customer service is top notch and they pay top dollar for gold and silver. Been to other coin shops that if you dont have your wallet out in 2 min they rush you out the door they couldnt be bothered .John spent a half hour looking over a list i brought in he tried selling me nothing I had no plans on buying. We had NO idea what we had as far as the coins thar were found, so we brought them to NNC. Not only were we met with disdain, we were treated like people trying to make a buck... we took our coins elsewhere & were treated like the regular humans we are... I have directed SO MANY OTHERS away from this place. Dont waste your time, they are TO GOOD FOR YOU... THERE SHOULD BE A WAY TO GET ZERO STARS....

We have spent over $65000 at this place over the course of 6 months. A few months ago we were treated a bit rudely, and the very next time we came in the woman apologized to us. We still wanted to do business with them since we have been trying to support local businesses as much as possible. Today we went in with $32000 certified cashiers check PLUS cash in hand to purchase gold and was rudely turned down the business because they wanted us to lock the price down in advance. Ridiculous. We are taking our business online, seriously a software with no soul has better customer service mind.

Don’t go here unless you want to get ripped off. You will need silver to go up 30% just to break even with their spot prices. Used to be a good place. Will not be buying my metals here again.

I have sold gold and silver and have bought coins in the past.Today I had some recently purchased jewelry examined by there Gemologist Karen Hahn.Due to some of the wording on the receipt and my total lack of knowledge of all jewelry I was concerned about my recent purchase.. I left there more knowledgeable, and feeling a lot better about my purchase.I also learned they have a large selection of jewelry at Great Prices and a Gemologist that will put you at ease about your purchase.If you have never been its a cool store and worth a visit.

How do I know NNC does not rip people off? - go to PCGS website and check out the common marketplace called collectors corner where dealers from all over the country sell similar type coins. NNC prices are always at or below the average cost of other dealers - usually well below.

First time visiting this store. We had some silver to sell and this place had good online reviews so we thought to give it a shot. The person we dealt with named Les was very patient in sorting through all the inventory we brought in and taught us what was of value and why. All in all, it was a surprisingly pleasant experience that exceeded our expectations. We would recommend this store to anyone looking to get an honest appraisal of their precious metal or jewelry and, if in the market to either sell or buy, to be offered a fair price.

He knows what I am talking about before I can finish my sentence. I have never felt uncomfortable as a customer or asking for a suggestion on what the value of something is. They dont press your decision-making, they give you the facts and let the customer decide.

Talked to John on the phone regarding the possible greater than face value worth of my 343 Ike silver dollars plus a collection of Kennedy half dollars. I received a clear and detailed explanation as to how to evaluate my holdings.

Very disappointed with Nevada coin I have taken a lot of coins there only to find out that they give you the lowest price possible they tell you your coins arent worth anything when indeed they are. Make sure you go to an appraiser before you go to any of the shops. Its the way they make their money taking advantage of people that dont know enough to go to an appraiser first. Lesson learned!!Heres a response to the owner I did come in there to get my coins appraised. They said they were worth 6,300, and that was what they were willing to give me for the coins. I then took them to another certified appraiser in which they were praised over $8,400. So yes this is legit. I just wish I would have been less naive in the beginning and got a second opinion with all the other coins I brought to your shop. I just think people should know to get a second opinion possibly a third before they make a decision.

Have tried in the past to sell a coin to them. Offered way under bid. Thought Id give them another chance. Will be the last time. Offered me 50.00 for a coin that books for 540.00. WOW. Sold it someplace else for 275.

Ive found them to be consistentlyprofessional and ethical. I have also watched how they treat inexperienced, novice customers; never seen any indication of them taking advantage of newbies. You will get a fair deal from these folks-High recommend.

I was in town visiting and had some cash on hand. I like to buy silver bars and saw the prices that these guys sell for and it was among the best for a brick and mortar shop that I’ve seen. When I went in, they were great and dug around in the back showing me a range of bars so I could find what I like.My experience was so enjoyable (that guy who drives a mini-cooper is a riot) that I went to check out the shop in Carson city a few days later. Even though I had already spent my money a few days prior and made that clear, the guy there still was very kind and informative.He showed me some rare coins that he KNEW I could never buy, told me some great history of the Carson cit mint, and even dragged out a 1000 ounce silver bar because he knew I would love to see it even if I couldn’t buy.I look forward to saving up for my next purchase and making it at this shop. They are competitive with online dealers for bullion and I look forward to supporting my local shops.

Just not honest. Took in some silver dimes and they would not even give me the melt value. Also had an older coin I took in to them to sell. I took the coin in 3 times for estiments in about a months time. One time I was told it was only worth 20 dollars and about 2 weeks later was told by another employee 8 dollars. And Just today they offered me 3 dollars. This is very poor. Either they do not know what they are doing or they dont care about being honest. Come on guys people are not stupid and there are many other dealers who want my business.

Bought a cc gold coin for 1040.00 in August went to turn in back in a week ago and they were only willing to pay me 700.00 now I know you wont get back what you put into it at first but it just goes to show the markup this place makes . Stay away unless you like giving money away. Up to you.

Dishonest business from top down. These guys are bullion brokers and sell commodities (gold and silver coins) at a huge premium other than straight bullion. I bought a coin for $105 and the manager Doug Larson promised that if I wanted to ever sell the coin back, I would get at least 80% of what I paid. After changing my collection to all vintage silver and graded gold coins I decided to sell my coin back to Northern Nevada and Mr. Larson offered me $25 dollars. If you are looking to safely invest, go anywhere else than Northern Nevada Coin. They only care to make large profits from putting customers in bad investments.

Northern Nevada Coin is the Best! Les is also the Best! After years of stacking Silver and Gold, this year we planned our trip to the 2019 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. My Wife and I also celebrated our 43rd Wedding Anniversary at our 15th trip to the Rally. Since we just retired this year, we needed a little extra cash for our trip to Sturgis. Thats where Northern Nevada Coin and Les came in! We had sold very little Gold or Silver over the years and living in Northern California ALL of the places that bought Gold and Silver from us never made us happy with the amount they paid us. Northern Nevada Coin, by a huge margin, made us Very Happy with the Fair deal they made us on our Gold scrap jewelry, Gold Coins and Silver Eagles! Its a good thing too as our truck broke down in Lusk, WY and we had the money to replace the bad alternator and battery plus 100 miles of towing a truck and trailer. I came in to meet with Doug who I had received great Customer service from in the past! He knew I was on the way & I was in my car sorting out my pennies before taking them in! Miners beware this place would rather be a fence for tweeker stolen goods than buy actual gold pulled form a river. I brought 17g of flower and small flake and he wouldnt even test it before saying we dont buy that. While he drooled over some tweekers mothers julery. Places like this should be shut down.

So I am pretty new to buying silver and gold bullion, however searching the internet guys, APMEX, JMBullion, etc... they couldnt match .83 above spot when buying. This was on a Saturday and every other shop within about 10 miles said they were open but when called were actually closed. Online guys had competitive prices some of the time, but most were slightly more expensive plus I dont have to worry about losses in the mail.The condition of most of the silver bars and rounds was spotty, but hey, I am buying for weight not looks anyways, and for that, I think this place was very fair, service was perfectly fine, and I got exactly what I paid for. So thank you, I will be coming back in the future.PS. I would be more inclined to purchase more often and larger amounts if you provided a continental breakfast with purchases exceeding 5 dollars. Having a small monkey give me the coins and bars would be appreciated as well.
