SIX, thats right 6 attempts within a 3 month period for US Granite, contracted through Home Depot, to professionally install Corian counter tops for our small kitchen project. Why? Fabrication mostly. Highly visible seams, poor communication and planning from US Granite. Counter tops initially arrived with numerous deep scratches. Pics from initial install these were ultimately replaced but ONLY AFTER a total of 6 times of coming out to the house to fix . Representatives from US Granite would claim to have had call but no record of call coming to cell or at home number. Extremely rude schedulers at US Granite. When all was said and done I requested compensation for the numerous errors (that they admitted were their errors). They offered a 20% discount but that doesn’t even begin to compensate for the inconvenience of not having all counter tops during a 3 month period and for the time I spent making calls (it was near impossible for US Granite to call us), scheduling times for them to come back out and etc. The reps at Home Depot have been nice to deal with but US Granite is giving them a bad name. I’ve been told by US Granite that they are just too busy. Does that mean they are too busy to do a good job? Are they too busy to give good service? Are they too busy taking money from other Home Depot customers and general consumers that they don’t care? Well, I’m busy too but I’ve got enough time to let people know the service from US Granite is sub-par.PLEASE NOTE: HOME DEPOT HAS BEEN VERY HELPFUL & SUPPORTIVE. HOME DEPOT HAS MADE THE SITUATION RIGHT.
WOW.... by far the best granite job I have had done (and I have had a lot of granite installed). Surprised by some of these reviews! The customer service could not be better and this place is the best BY FAR in the area.Will be using again, and am already recommending to my friend looking for a remodeled kitchen.Thank you guys so much!!!!! Do not spend your time or money with this company. They wont even come out for basic chip repair. It took multiple calls just to get a response from Carol. Terrible customer service and follow-up. We live in a Toll Brothers home. I would highly recommend that Toll Brothers not use this company for future granite and tile installation.
Purchased through Home Depot and this is who they had install Quartz counters. Very poor install. Guys left my house and forgot to glue down the island. They left shims uncut and chipped the quartz in three places during install. They repaired one spot but again forgot the other two. Also very bad seam between backsplash and counter behind the sink.Spoke with their quality control guy Evan who offerred good resolution. Problem is no one ever followed through on his resolution so over a month after they were supposed to fix this and more than 6 weeks since original install and I’m still calling them to work this out.Outrageous that any customer should have to deal with this. Both Home Depot and US Granite have truly been awful vendors. Stay away from them if you can.
Ive been in my house for 3 months now and still do not have an acceptable counter top. I was told after their installers were out to replace it the first time that they do not have a quality control process so they just install what is given to them. Multiple US Granite representatives have been to my house and they have all agreed that the job is poorly done.The communication is absolutely terrible and the willingness to help their customers is non existent. My counter and back splash in two bathrooms are absolutely horrible (mis- cut, sloped, filled in with putty). I will never use or recommend this company to anyone.Edited 1/25/18.These guys have sent James and Alfredo out to fix all of my issues and i have to say these two guys are the best at what they do! I’m very happy with their work and attention to detail along with the empathy in regards to my long time issues with USG. After 5 months i am finally happy with the product i was provided. Had it been done the right way 5 months ago, i would have given this company 5 stars. I would request James and Alfredo if you want it done right.

Im a general contractor, and thought Id try out a US granite in sparks, nv. I brought these guys the sinks and faucets and picked out a remnant. I did all the leg work pick up, drop off, measuring. After getting this home the fabricators drilled the faucet holes too big. I told my contact at US granite he said just put some washers under the faucets which wouldnt work (visible and not waterproof). After I explained this wouldnt work he offered to buy me lunch but no refund even partial. I paid $1360 for this vanity top. I ended up having to fill the holes with epoxy and redrilling. Id recommend trying any other granite shop first as there are many in the area to choose from.
We have been trying to get in touch with this place for 2 weeks. hubby says call house phone, they call his cell, I finally called Home depot at Northtowne and they called for me.Home Depot comes back on the line and tells me oh its coming near the weekend they wont call you til Monday. It was 2 in the afternoon when I called . SO where are they for 3 hours when they close . Here is another contractor from Home Depot that is not getting on my good side and we havent had the measurements for the granite yet. If I dont get a date for install and measurements by Monday, I am going to Home Depot and speaking to a manager and getting a refund and going somewhere else. Not happy at all
Home depot subs these guys out. After waiting a week for them to call us, they scheduled a measurememt. They came and said we needed to fix the backboard. That night it was fixed so called back...they then pushed the re-measure out another week. After two more weeks and the granite was installed but no backsplash. 5 days later and 3 calls with voicemails and no response from brandon/brenan. Finally they stated at least 2 more weeks and a change order but didnt sound like it was too important.
