Typical Whole Foods; which is always great. However, the coffee was below-average; given the high standards set by the brand my expectations were not met. Additionally, the breakfast selections; both the grab and go, as well as a breakfast station, were non-existent. Very disappointing experience if you’re hangry and wanting breakfast. This dog was there and definitely living it’s best life!
This review is not for the store itself, but for the Amazon portion of the business and for an exceptional employee named Chris.I had purchased some items from Amazon and needed to return them. Of course I waited to the last minute to call Amazon, but when I did they told me to take the items to Whole Foods. Prior to going I called and spoke to an employee named Chris who was very helpful in giving me directions. When I finally got to the store, it was twenty minutes before I had to be to work a mile away. Resigned to the fact that I would be late to work, I went in and immediately ran into Chris, who, with a smile on his face, immediately began processing my return. Next thing I knew it was done and I had confirmation of my return. I then left and arrived to work 5 minutes early. Whether the returns process is always this simple or if the simplicity was due to Chriss effeciency, I dont know. But I know I left happy.
Great pizza here, groceries are pricey, but high quality
I purchased a berry Chantilly cake from the bakery at this Whole Foods location and the cake was not up to the mark. It was very dry to begin with and within 2 days of my purchase, while it was stored in the refrigerator (as it should I guess) inside its casing, the cake dried up completely becoming inedible. A bad experience, they should sell fresh cakes!
Prices are high but that is to be expected for higher quality foods. Friendly employees and they somehow hire such beautiful people. 😉 Love the new self checkout area!
They advertised 50% off all pizzas. But this did NOT include cheeseless pizza.
Great place for health minded people ...great products and very clean store
All around great shopping experience. Always clean, with friendly staff. Now accepting Amazon returns as well, which is a nice convenience. No need to box your item up either! Prices on groceries have dropped since the Amazon acquisition, and Prime members can save even more.
The highlights for us are the fish monger and the fruit and veg section. But the rest of the place is stocked with the highest quality items and staffed by the friendliest, most knowledgeable people. Asked a team member how to prepare an exotic (to me at least!) vegetable and got several great ideas. Love this place!
Not familiar with store. But I heard they have good sandwiches. While waiting in line for some food I asked where I could find some beer. To my surprise two out of the three people I asked pretended I wasnt there. Top notch stuck up employees you got working here.
We needed lunch and to make an Amazon return. We picked up dandelions, kale and some other bird stuff. We both lunch- sushi and General Tsos, green beans and some nice mac and cheese. Hard to beat.
Pizza and little bar in there was awesome, staff was very accommodating and friendly. New place for me and I really enjoyed it.
Great place to go to dine in or take . everything we have tried from here has been delicious and our kids love the healthy treat variety .
The stores customer service has gone way down . Bakery bread department is horrible. Recently had you cutting your own bread with their cutting machine, sticking your hands into this machine with the sharp blades. Then no cutting machine ( cause its broken). Bread on display is burned around the edges. Whats going on with Whole Foods store in Reno?????
We have been shopping here for years! We mostly shop here for the very clean store and excellent quality food. They always have a large variety and make eating healthy easy. The folks at their customer service counter are ver nice !
We can always find that much needed ingredient for any dish. Excellent fruits and vegetables too! The associates are some of the hardest working people Ive seen and always helpful.
I love going to Whole Foods to get my fresh fruits and vegetables. I also love that you get a wide selection of fish and meat. I love getting organic foods. However I must say it can be a little pricey
My daughters allergic to almost everything. We go to Whole Foods twice a month to find everything in one stop she can eat(and likes) without making her sick. The staff is always helpful and super friendly.
I LOVE the guy in the seafood department. Not only does he give me a good product he also gives me good advice. I need that.
It was great!! I think I choose the right time to go as there Were not to many people in the store. The workers are really helpful also
We have found the things we were looking for there. Some good food and useful items. My economic level doesnt allow me to shop there except as a treat or last resort. Thats not really meant in a negative way to Whole Foods.
My favorite store to buy many many things. Some cashiers might be extreme on the way they help you in the way they see you weird if you don’t wear your mask high enough and will even refuse to continue working as your cashier for the time being while they’re afraid of you contaminating them. Which I felt so ridiculous low when one of them did that to me. Oh well I won’t let her attitude ruined my great like for the marvelous things I’m able to shop at Whole Foods.
Great customer service in produce. I asked about edible flowers and was taken right to them. The cashier was friendly and efficient.
Great online ordering, 30min express for curbside pickup, high quality food, efficient friendly delivery to car trunk. Wine available online. Check in with mobile phone a little awkward. No phone number posted at pickup station as alternate check in.
I love the products at whole foods. My last 2 visits however were bad. Customer service has fallen there.
This place has more natural foods than can be thought of. Got to keep going there.
This is one of my favorite places to grocery shop. Their Vegan section is great. Customer service is great...clean store and sanitizer and masks and wipes available upon entry.
Clean..friendly...loved it
Love this place if you are an Amazon prime member is worth coming in here and getting good deals
Great customer service. I had questions about some herbal tea and elderberry gummies. The associate was knowledgeable and friendly.
Great selections but prices are high.
Selection good, checker couldnt be ruder if he tried. The liquor guy was amazing and informative. I nearly hugged him for his help!
I love Whole Foods selection and it really helps that they have a lot ot vegetarian and vegan options. Ive recently gone vegetarian so it helps a lot. They have good sushi, a nice selection in their bakery, and their alcohol selection is good. Would definitely recommend.
What youd expect from a Whole Foods. They are kinda all the same these days. If you like whole foods, youll like this one too. At least enough for your grocery/eating needs.
Nice place, never has ciabatta in the afternoon.
This is one of the best Whole Foods Ive ever been to. WF are always clean and nice, but this one is a step above earlier experiences in CA since I moved here. Especially great was the young lady at the cheese counter. I didnt catch her name but she went out of her way to come around and point out options I might like, after asking if I was looking for something specific. I chose one of her pics and it was delicious! Im looking forward to going back to this store just to get more new suggestions from her. All in all the store was really well stocked though and Im happy its my new WF.
Always treated nicely and with courtesy. Really enjoy environment. I enjoy buying fresh fruit and veggie!
Very nice location. Clean with a great selection and willingly helpful staff.
Exelent.!! Great products cuality.
Significantly greater options for healthy food than competitors closer to home. However, the prices remain exorbitant for most items. Just dont come on a weekend; parking, and maneuvering about the store, is incredibly difficult. The check-out staff was very friendly, albeit after their conversations amongst each other and their friends was finished.
Not my favorite store. Hard to find what you want. Store associates are not always informative and often the prices are higher than most grocery stores.
Love Whole Foods and their prices are finally starting to come down to more reasonable prices.
Pretty good produce and freshly cooked foods. Good selection of dairy. Friendly staff.
Great smoothie for a big price.
Had great selections of merchandise
They have it all for fresh quality ingredients. Organic and healthier options. Very large selection...always busy but it is a good sign.
Big sign out front saying now open self service prepared food barsIm here at 9am on a Friday, there is literally nothing but empty chafing dishes.Youre lying to us Whole Foods.
Incredible fruit !First time shopper, will only buy my produce there going forward !Everything was fresh! The fish was incredible.
I was able to find a lot of indian readymade items and veggies were quite fresh.
Be prepared for long waits in line during peak hours.
This is the last time I will be shopping at Whole Foods in Reno. When I went in the vegetable area was full of people restocking. One of them ran into me and said nothing. When I mentioned it they turned their back on me. I have not found one person that works there to be even the slightest bit personable. Every time I have shopped there I felt a little angry as I left. Never again. I will go down the street a little further where they appreciate my business.
Large and clean. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options. I can spend hours in Whole Foods looking for something new.
Huge selection to choose from. Friendly environment.
A lot of times you can get the same products cheaper else where but their produce dept is great!
Love the products but the store needs to be larger. Its always busy amd cramped
Great variety of natural foods and great employees
I found everything what I wanted and was also able to find some of the indian readymade dishes available in the store. Everything was pretty fresh.
Bakery, stop making rosemary sourdough bread. Now its lemon rosemary really. Who would purchase that and exactlyWhat would you eat that with. 🤦♀️
Another location to return your Amazon items 😀
The whole food is one of my favorite grocery stores, it is very clean, the stuff are very nice !
Thanks for putting the cranberry pecan bread back on the shelves
Whenever we are in Reno its a must stop for the things you cant get at a regular grocery store. Love the produce, meat, seafood and cheese selections.
Okay, I LOVE this place and I am so glad Reno has a Whole Foods. This Whole Foods is great. Obviously, a grocery store with lovely produce department, unique natural & organic items around the store, but also a great salad bar, hot foods too, pizza, a grill/restaurant inside on the right front corner, and then seating galore--inside and outside. And free water. I dont know, its just a great place to hang out and treat yourself to a special grocery store experience. The outside dining when the fireplaces are going... so fun! If you are looking for a bargain/discount grocery store or trying to buy in bulk, I would go somewhere else first, but for a great shopping environment, I would go here first.
If you got the money this place is amazing for anything fresh.
The pastrami was dry and tough! Wont order it again there!!
I was in Whole Foods after 7:00 p.m. and saw 10 people without their masks on. I was only in there for 10 minutes and was only in half of the store.I will not be shopping here if I dont feel safe. These people were walking around with pride in not wearing their masks nor were their kids. They were handling toys and all kinds of things. Not to mention many others wearing their mask halfway off of their face. That is just as bad as not wearing one at all. Where is the management? Trader Joes demands masks and only so many people can enter the store at one time. Why is whole foods different? NOT SAFE FOR ANYONE!
Pricey. Lots of in house shoppers running around. Busy place.
Always a great experience here! Clean and organized facility, friendly and happy staff.
Overpriced produce and wandering boomers looking for wine and cheese you can get at gross out on the cheap.
Going the extra mile to deliver excellent service! A shout out to Darius in the produce department for locating morel mushrooms for us and setting aside until we arrived. They were so fresh and awesome! Thank you!
Love this place!
Why do you hire shoppers and delivery people who are not vaccinated?sometimes wearing a mask
I always go there buy meats
Being a whole good plant based eater I can find the best produce and other items that are healthier than most markets.
Has what other stores dont. If youre vegan or gluten free, this store has a great selection!!!
Friendly staff and lush produce. The flower section has a wide variety of choices that include my favorite, chamomile. I enjoy adventures to this Whole Foods store.
Good food and skin care products
Everything you need, something you dont. But its all here
Great store, terrible prices. I luv Whole Foods for there efforts in selling products and food less harmful for us and the earth, but I think the prices are outta line. Why does a bag of organic grapes cost $13.00!?!
Like to shop here for extras. Tight aisles, even when not busy. Pricey but quality products and deals to be found.
Really good quality foods but lower prices would be awesome. Just a suggestion.
High quality foods.
Nice store. Workers helpful. Too crowded. Terrible prices.
Very good food and excellent customer service
Just left Whole Foods on a Sunday morning. Not the best experience. I expect to pay more for basics, and they do not disappoint. But I also expect for their premium prices a welcoming environment. I do not expect to have a checker wave his arm dismissively at me, with no words, because I had accidentally gotten into a closed line. BTW, the Lane Closed sign was tiny and pale grey and shoved to the side. Then the checker I wound up with was totally non-verbal. No eye contact. No Hello. I got the vibe waiting on me was an inconvenience in her morning. Come on, Whole Foods. You can do better. At least expect and train your main customer contact staff to, oh I dont know, smile occasionally.
Great place especially since they lowered their prices. Staff are always happy to help, that is awesome!
I went to find some wild caught shrimp caught off our coast and they had plenty of seafood and salmon caught off our shores. I also love their cheese section and fresh fruit and veggies. Expect to spend more, but with me ; well worth it for certain items.
