Visited to purchase a pair of street bike gloves. Greeted promptly, found the racks with the gloves without any problem. Glove display was disorderly and unorganized. Not all styles and models available in multiple sizes. So unfortunately my choice had to be based on available sizes rather than style and type of glove. The employee that helped me was courteous and professional.I asked about whether the store was participating in the upcoming Street Vibrations Reno, it appears they have chosen not to participate in any way with that weekend event. I think thats a poor choice.When this store opened a couple years ago, they seemed very active and wanted to embrace the motorcycle culture in the area. That seems to have fallen by the wayside here. I hope thats just because of the pandemic issues.

I bought a tire from CycleGear.com. I had Cycle Gear in Reno install the tire. The attendant was courteous and helpful. He installed tire in a short period of time and the installation seems to be done properly.

I was returning through Reno to California on a road trip and was low on oil. The cycle gear sales people were super friendly and you had what I needed!As a novice rider I also went to the San Francisco location prior to my trip to by riding gear. The sales people there were exceptional in their personal service and rider knowledge.

I had asked them to hold an item they on ly had one of for two days and they had it there waiting for me when I got there. I have dealt with the store manager there a couple of other times and she has always gone way out of her way to do anything she can to help me (I Live about 200 miles from the store). Again, they have a terrific manager there that is all about helping customers

Bought a Cardo Bluetooth set up for a new helmet and they installed it in about 15 minutes. No charge as long as you buy the unit there . Good service would recommend

The boy you had working in there today Sep. 4, 2020, was super rude to me and several of the other customers that were in there. I dont know if he was having a bad day or what, but he should keep it professional in the work place. He was super short with everyone and acted like we were putting him out by being in there and having questions. I dont need some snot nose kid giving me attitude when I am willing to spend money in your store. Which I decided not to because he was such a jerk.

It could be just me but Ive noticed that the staff seem uninterested in helping new customers such as myself. Been there twice and had to make myself known that I was there. Other than that, they have good stuff at good prices.

Bought some packtalks from here. When I came to exchange a defective one. A young man showed pleasure in telling us NO. My friend was clearly upset about it and these young employee made fun of him and said he must of got a lucky one. My friend had to go outside to keep himself from punching this guy is the face who thought it was funny. I understand the return policy. My problem is with the way we were treated. I would be careful how you treat your local riders. We have a tight group of friends who ride together. Great way to lose a bunch of customers.

Called earlier in the day with questions about helmets, sizing and fitting. Was told to come in and they would help, was not expecting such a great selection and styles to choose from. Due to the call I had made to the store prior to showing up, the staff remembered the call and was anticipating my arrival....the costumer service was outstanding and beyond helpful! I will be spreading the word about this store and this will be my go-to spot.Thank you for the great service and experience...

Small but good selection. Customer service is great, knowledgeable crews working to help. Clean, friendly atmosphere. Has a good selection of on-road and off-road equipment and gear. I love that usually everything is on sale and if its not just wait a month and itll be on sale. Its like harbor freight for motorcycles. Bilt gear is great for kids and available here inexpensive way to get protection to start kids young riding. Also has name brand gear at decent prices and a great selection. Many helmets and sizes to choose from on road and off road. Great place for gifts for someone who rides. Easy parking right off the freeway....

I try to stop at a Cycle Gear in the towns I visit. As with all the Cycle Gears I have visited in my travels the staff in Reno, Nevada were super and helpful. Sometimes I just stop and identify myself as an out of town rider and the conversation takes off from there and sometimes I pick up something on sale that I can use. Eathier way I have found they hsve what I need and are a friendly helpful bunch of folks.

Frustrated, and disappointed! I have bought thousands of dollars worth of products from cycle gear- at least 10 helmets including my last purchase ever from a cycle gear! I have had troubles before with helmets and other items missing parts or pieces.... My carbon fiber AGV pista Corsa gp, bought in Las Vegas was a disaster of missing and incorrect pieces. Will never spend another dollar at a cycle gear, until this is fixed.

Very unhappy with cyclegear in Reno. On a 4 day ride from Tacoma WA and a friend got a nail in his tire, the person working said they had 5 other tires to fix that day and they were going to be unable to change his tire. Come on man! They did however tell us about a place that could help us out. That is why you get the second star.

They have a fair variety of goods they dont cater to one specific riding group every time Ive been in they have been friendly and helpful.
