If I could give them less than a one star I would. I have been doing business with this company for several months, making weekly payments as agreed. This past week I did not make my payment on the due date. I have spoke to them EVERY SINGLE DAY. They have TWO phone numbers for me and never ONCE was unable to get a hold of me. Once a payment is missed, and they begin calling you to collect they then are practicing as a debt collector and MUST adhere to the regulations under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (The FDCPA). That act states a debt collector or creditor can begin to make calls to your friends, family, or references only if they are unable to locate you and only to verify or correct information such as your address and telephone number..... Yet they began not calling, but harrassing my references for me to contact them, which makes zero sense as I have spoken to them EVERY DAY. Be careful when doing business with this company
So over all the customer service was good until I had a problem with a laptop battery. It took 6-7 months to actually get it ordered while I was told multiple time is had already been ordered. They never answer the phone and try to rush off when you calling to address an issue. What’s the point of paying weekly for warranty and insurance on an item if it takes several months of being lied to about the replacement part? The honesty amongst the management is terrible with multiple lies and excuses. I deserve all my money back on what I paid into protections from the date of the I initial complaint. Now it’s been paid off a couple weeks and still no replacement battery. It’s just sickening. Go to arrons or at minimum a different rent a center location. Avoid the Renton location at all costs. Unless you want to never get what you spend your hard earned money on!!!Oh update, lied to yet again. So Iget a screenshots of tracking information and big surprise. The tracking number says can not be found. Rather than forward the email to me they send a screenshot. It’s a partial screen shot that doesn’t show destination address or what the item is. This store location is horrible. The customer service horrible. They just LIE LIE LIE. Basically if been robbed for thousands by this company and the people in this store. Useless laptop that I’ve had less than one year. Oh and can’t even get the regional manager to call me back even though Mr. Kim is 100% aware of the situation and the store manager Katie. Happily take your money the. Screw you in a second.!
The staff are friendly, helpful, kind, and nice. They always answer any questions or concerns in a timely manner. Many people complain about the prices but its rent to own so deal with it!!!!!!! They do now have 6 months same as cash so thats a great new edition that will help keep more money in your wallet. Rent A Center is always getting a new selection of furniture and appliances so upgrading is always a option that most companys dont have. Overall great experience :) Will recommend to friends and family!

I’m quite dissatisfied with what has happened to me with ALL Rent-A-Centers. The port orchard one didn’t ever get me the tablet I wanted and I waited three months. Gave in and went to this one. I then went home with a USED TABLET..... and she sent me home with the wrong charger..... I’m like are you freaking kidding me. I haven’t ever been so dissatisfied with a company in my life!!!!!
