My older 70 horse Evinrude was having major issues so I arranged to bring my boat with the motor issues to the this business. Almost immediately after arriving, a member of this family business asked me what the issue was, and pulled the spark plugs and performed a compression test on all three cylinders. Unfortunately, one of the cylinders was dead. It was not what I wanted to hear, but I was given honest options: $2000 to rebuild the motor (not recommended due to the age of the motor and current high cost of parts), or repower with a newer rebuilt motor ($2500 - $3500). There was no pressure from them to either rebuild the bad motor or buy one of the numerous used and rebuilt motors they had in stock. When I asked what I owed for diagnosis I was told Nothing. Dont worry about it Within 20 minutes of arriving I was on my way again. When I have the cash to repower my boat I will inquire at this business first!
Quick turnaround and solid work done here.
The guy was very nice, and very inexpensive which is nice, hard to find affordable boat mechanics, and the turn around time was impressive, thanks all seasons for the great work.
We replaced our outboards with rebuilds from All Seasons in 2012. They know how to rebuild motors and were recommended to us by a well known dealer. Confirm model years if its important to you. They state the model years are newer than they actually are. Also get agreed details in writing before leaving deposit. If you advocate for yourself, their rebuild quality and prices are worth the extra effort.
Went to look at an outboard here. Was told it was around an early 2000s model year. Ran the serial number and was a 1995 motor. Also told upon first visit he wanted 2800 for it and upon second visit a month later when I was still looking to upgrade power on my boat the price was 3400 which is outrageous for a 1995 60 horse motor. The owner could not really communicate with me what was done to the motor, but his motors are mostly partial rebuilds of blown power heads I believe. Seemed like a nice enough guy but it is easy to determine the year of a motor and also very important. The motor he advertised was completely different from the actual motor in displacement and also value.
I never went there, but I read some reviews and decided not to ?
I recently went to look at a motor at All Season Outboard and Crank. This motor was advertised on Craigs List as a 2006 Yamaha Four Stroke motor with 300 hours on it. When I looked at it, I found that the motor was not what was advertised. It looked like it had many more hours on it and it had carburetors which means it was a pre-2003 motor. Dont trust what these guys say because they are either ignorant or dishonest.
Can’t even pick up the phone for a few simple questions so yes that’s why I’m reviewing them and I would not take any of my motors there thank goodness it’s just no answer instead of taking my money
Paul is nice guy
