Told the pharmacist that I was cruising and asked if they did COVID rapid testing. Was told no, but that I could buy the BinaxNOW test at the front counter, and that would work. Bought two boxes and took them home. Quick search online reveals that this product cannot be proctored for travel, and is not the right product. Called the CVS back within 20 minutes of buying the unopened product and asked to return it. They declined. The ditz on the phone said the manager was too busy and wouldnt take my call. Buyer beware. Their test for sale doesnt work for traveling, regardless of what their employees say.

Came by the store at 6pm with whole family to get flu shots but said they stopped taking walk-ins at 4pm. Their website nor anywhere outside or in the store mentions the 4pm last call. I suggest to the pharmacy tech they should update the website but she was disinterested and recommend I make a reservations for tomorrow. I looked at their Renton store website before coming and it clearly states walk-ins are welcomed and no mention of 4pm. If you click for further store details, the site mentions 8pm is when their pharmacy closes. Corporate marketing and the store manager needs to clearly state hours of walk-ins. Besides being frustrated, their store was a complete mess with boxes laying around and construction stuff all over to build their minute clinic. Talk about a hazard if little children or vision impaired were to walk in those areas as there were no barriers or signs. After we were turned down, we went across the street to Fred Meyer and got shots immediately without any issues.

Sat in the drive thru line for over an hour for a COVID test appointment... Insanely slow, lots of people in line just left (who could blame them). Will never be back at this pharmacy again.

I had a really great experience at this Pharmacy today. I dont normally shop here but my regular CVS was out of stock on a new Rx for my kid. The Pharmacy Staff were fantastic! Despite a busy time with a COVID vaccination clinic in swing, I was helped quickly and on my way in a jiffy. Great staff and great location. Thank you!

No the perfect store but after visiting for years now its pretty good. The staff for the front are frankly gone a lot but the pharmacy staff are always quick and good at their jobs in my experience.

Since the remodel this is a horrible pharmacy. No clear directions on where to drop off a prescription. Stand in one line and then be told youre in the wrong line. Then get in the line that one person says to stand in to be told by another person youre in the wrong line. There is no marked drop off window anymore. Anymore. Only consultation and pick up.

I just wasted 29 min of my life trying to reach the pharmacy! I have a legitimate question that can’t be addressed via their app or online. After 30 min I gave up and now I get to do it all again tomorrow (yay).. It shouldn’t be so difficult to speak with the pharmacy. Suggestion: hire more people, you’re welcome.

Ten people in line. The ljnes branch off a million ways. No one is at the register. Employees chatting in the back. Gossiping. Prices aren’t marked correctly. Ahhhhhhh!

This a horrible pharmacy to do business at. There are long lines now that they are doing COVID testing in the drive through. There is no reason for them to be doing the COVID testing in the drive through, there are plenty of testing sites that are set up to do nothing but testing. Plus, as far as I could tell, they are not properly sanitizing the drive through after each possibly COVID positive person comes through for tests. Also, make sure you check your receipts to make sure you are not being over charged for your prescriptions. We have been over charged at least three times in the last six months. Also, they have asked our doctors to authorize refills on prescriptions we are no longer taking. Luckily, these have been caught and the refills have been declined. Just extremely poor business practices, and I blame the pharmacy manager for this. If it werent that we have CVS/Caremark insurance, I would never come here.

I had to get a flu shot yesterday and was lucky enough to get it from an employee named Rosemary in south Renton. The shot was painless and she was so nice, she actually made the brief encounter downright pleasant. Thank you, Rosemary!!

Seamless and quick vaccination

The pharmacy here is lousy. I’ve stopped in several times and almost every time there’s been a problem. The first time they forgot to add in my insurance when they rang me up, so I was charged too much initially. Another time the gal got distracted because two of her friends walked by the counter to say hi, so she stopped to talk to them for several minutes while she was supposed to be filling my prescription. Overall I just get a very uncaring vibe from the staff here. Like they can’t be bothered to give any time to us plebs. Or something like that.The store isn’t very good either. There’s no real line for the registers, so people accidentally cut when it gets busy. They stopped carrying a multivitamin I use quite a bit, which is a bummer. This place is also in a really awkward location—crammed right up on a major intersection and hard to get into and out of.

The staff in the Pharmacy are so helpful, professional and friendly and have a sense of humor.. They have suggested things that have saved money for co-pays on Rx. I pick up for my Mother. In addition they are always able to answer all of my questions- or will find out and call.

I get my medication filled here. They are pretty good at answering the phone but also understaffed. It can take a day to get your meds filled. Nice people but wish thing would be faster.

The pharmacy people are rude. I just got released from the hospital after almost dying. My boyfriend was in a lot of pain and we both desperately needed my pain meds. The drive-thru person asked us to re-park elsewhere while I looked through my prescriptions to make sure nothing was missed. I am planning on changing pharmacies after this bad experience.

The pharmacy employees are always so helpful and nice. Tonight they went above and beyond...I had a crazy day and didnt make it to fill a rx that I needed for the morning until 15 min before close. They graciously filled it for me without even knowing what kind of day I had. Thanks.

If you get narcotic medications do not fill at CVS.this is the 2nd time my pain pills come up short,1st time was burien.for that reason they are suppose to tripple count my pills.Then when you call you get hold on and I will go count our stock,they come back no our stock numbers are good, even no extra pills.This is their mantality on pills being shortened,that a pharmacist would not throw away 6yrs of collage,clearly that pharmacist has no clue about addiction.. addiction is stronger than love. Since my insurance pays for the pills they need to be informed.

Great service. I came thru the drive thru with and my HSA card was not working. I came inside to try again. After failing again, My girlfriend and I were contemplating on switching to a competitor. During this time the Pharmacist, signed me up for promo on my meds with a discount card and I received my meds for free! Way to go CVS! Awesome service and polite friendly staff that go out of their way!

This Cvs is pretty busy but they need more workers. 💁🏻‍♀️Took us about 10 mins to find a worker and the line was super long. But once I found a worker things were smooth. Xavier was helpful and advice me what he knows from certain products from past customer experiences. There’s a lot of sales going on today as well which got me buying some extra care products for the house 🏡The Asian pharmacist is extremely attentive and knowledgeable. ❣️💯🔥 Thank you for your help. He had good recommendations regardless on the brand/ price. Good vibes !! Just need more workers !! 💯💯💯

The first time I had gone to CVS, I was waiting in line at the pharmacy department to fill a prescription and a man had asked me if I wanted a water bottle while I was waiting. I have never been asked if I had wanted water before in any store/pharmacy. And each time I go to CVS I feel so welcomed and great to be there. They are always asking if they can help with anything. Great store and pharmacy!

Called to ask if they had a product, was told that it was $40 (even though the website listed it as $60; Amazon has it for $38). Drove a couple of cities over to purchase and was charged $70. Mentioned to the cashier that shed stated on the phone that it was $40 and she basically said yep, sorry.

Man! These are some of the slowest pharmacist I have ever seen...smhIf you need something to keep you alive real bad...please dont come here because they will keep you for 3 hrs waiting for no reason.

So helpful and friendly! Which is a refreshing change from Walgreens, who Ive used for 4 long years and whose incompetence never ceases to astound me. Its a long way away.... Ill pass three Walgreens to get there. But, ah, it will be worth it.

Staff are nice, but the pharmacy is incompetent. My first prescription they filled and then immediately put back for a reason they couldnt explain to me. Waiting another 30 mins. Today I went to get two prescriptions, one had been filled a week earlier which they text me every few days about. Another my doctor just sent to be filled. Got the doctors order, but the other is not only not filled, but theres no record of it in my profile at all now. Ive only been here maybe 5 times. 3/5 competence rate means I find another pharmacy. Its a shame, as Im from New England and this is the dominant pharmacy there and I was happy to see them branching out this far west.

CVS is a great company. Elsewhere in the country. When one opened in Renton, I thought it was great. People, who came from other parts of the country to get the business going were polite, respectful, and friendly. Then slowly but surely they left, and Seattleites took over. The service slowed to a snails pace, the staff became rude and unprofessional. The pharmacist thinks he is God. I will never go back to this horrible place, but in other parts of the country CVS is still wonderful. This state killed Walgreens and damaged their reputation for good customer service overall. Run, CVS, before Seattle will do the same damage to your reputation!
