Really nice shop with excellent service

I had been a very avid goer or TW&M for a long time as it was the only gig in town doing decent craft where I grew up. I was pleasantly surprised in going back recently as I was able to find many of the breweries I know and some I didnt. Granted Im a beer drinker and wine is certainly a focus but a good amount of effort is placed on the hops and barley. Kudos.

Very clean and orderly. Very nice selection of moderately price wines the result is that I went for 3 bottles and came home with 9! If they had a six pack of Rolling Rock, would have brought that home, too.

The staff at Total Wine definitely know their stuff. I went in trying to find a French Malbec and the employee went straight to the three that exist in the malbec section, but then showed me two others that were on the other side of the store. Love the one stop shop convenience.

This location has an excellent selection of adult libations for Virginia. Beer and wine of all kinds and a pleasant variety of craft and seasonal beverages ranging from single bottles to boxes, cases and kegs.I have been here twice recently because of a combination of very low price points for the same items carried in grocery stores with a knowledgeable and pleasant staff.There is also an excellent selection of salty snacks and various mixed drink supplies from stirrers and straws to grenadine and specialty olives, and more.They also offer advanced purchasing for no-contact pickup. My suggestion is to place such orders at least 2 days before the desired date of pick up.

Great selection of beer, including locals and limited releases. Online ordering and pickup is a breeze, though some low quantity or uniqie items (limited releases) are not always available online. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always willing to assist.

Amazing selection of beer and wine. The staff there are very knowledgable when it comes to asking questions about types or styles of wine you may like. They can fill up growlers but some growlers might not fit their system. You can create your own 6 packs of beer in case you want to try different styles or breweries.

Always well stocked with a vast selection of beer, ales, and wines. Good prices and knowledgeable staff. Carries a wide variety of local craft brews, and has rotating taps for growler fills. Small selection of drink mixers, just watch the expiration dates like a hawk. Also a pretty decent selection of cheap to moderately priced cigars located in a large humidor.

Just as you would expect from a Total Wine & More, this place has it all. I went looking for a very particular wine from Horton, a local wine from Virginia. Unfortunately, they didnt have the exact wine that I wanted but Linda, a superstar employee, helped me find other options that I would love. I enjoy sweet wines and she really helped guide me towards alternate dessert wines and options that I would love. Now I have 4 brand new wines Ive never tried before that I get to experience! Ive been here several times but I have this 5 stars for the handling of curbside pickup.

Stopped in for champagne for a dinner party. Guy immediately pointed me to the section and then helped my friend with wine selection. Huge selection, very friendly staff and quick checkout. Totally recommend this spot for wine purchases.

However, I like this particular Total Wine & More.The store offers lots of choices that fit any budgets. Theres display case with wine for connoisseurs or someone who wants to celebrate special occasion. There are different types of wine and beers from around the globe to choose, therefore one can always find something to suit his / her tastes and pocket.If a seldom drinker like me can be impressed by this store, I am sure others who drink can appreciate it more. I had bought two bottles of very nice champagne for xmas eve. Turns out they were not needed for the dinner party. I was helped by Nick, Store Manager and he gladly gave me a full refund. He informed me that Total Wine was the ONLY store to see alcohol in VA that rakes returns. Nick was super polite and nice. I will gladly shop here again.

The store is very clean, including family friendly bathrooms, and the staff are helpful and kind. But even they acknowledge their beer selection is limited. They packed a big box store into a corner. It would serve Reston well for them to expand, if they can. This store offers just a handful of good beer finds, but if you want great selection, you will have to go to Total Wine Chantilly or Sterling.

Ive shopped a lot of places for wine and for the value minded Total Wine cant be beat. Great selection, great prices, coupons on a regular basis and the app keeps track of my purchases so I can easily find wines Ive bought in the past.

The Reston Total Wine is large enough to almost be considered a warehouse. I usually go to Total Wine for their craft beer offerings and the selection at the Reston location is better than any other retailer that Ive found. Its even better than most other Total Wine locations. The staff here are welcoming and very helpful with both wine and beer questions.

I dont know who I talked to about wines. But I appreciate him. I enjoyed the Chianti he helped me find. It was great with last nights dinner. Today, the Vouvre I am drinking is truly refreshing, as I sip it on a hot summer night.

This Total Wines is very convenient for where I am currently living. It is a bit smaller than the ones I am used to but it does the job. I only realized on my second or third trip there that Virginia only sells liquor in the state run stores and thats why it makes sense why the total wines is smaller than the others I have been to.

Nicely stocked. Was happy to find my favorite Sangria for half the price and bigger bottle than the grocery stores

Martin Kelley, Wine Manager, knew more about wines than anyone I ever spoke with. “Why wine gives headaches sometimes as you age?” I got an answer in scientific and plain language detail. Hint: it’s not sulfites, it’s histamines! “Try this.” He’s got the knowledge and the stock to answer your needs.

Lots of good, local and region craft beers.

The store itself is big and nice, with a large selection. My issue is with Peter a manager there ( I believe) who took a large order for me last week. I ordered 40 cases of beer for a party this week, he called the vendor in front of me to confirm they could do it and then told me we were all good and it should be here by Tuesday (yesterday). I called on Tuesday to confirm it had arrived and it not only hadnt arrived but they also didnt know when it would or if they could do it now. Peter had to email with the vendor confirming the order and his associate who was helping me didnt know anything. Very disappointed. Jeffrey the person who helped me yesterday however is super nice and helpful.

Unfortunately the website showed this location having spirits. Though we know it shouldnt be we stopped by anyway and viola they didnt have any. The manager was super kind letting us know where the closest ABC store was .

Great selection of beers and wines. Beers are practically organized by which part of the world they are from, so if you want to go international, this place is perfect! Also, they have a selection of beers and wines from Virginia, something I appreciate (shouldve tried those, but I was way too excited and bought beers from my home country lol). Theres also a pretty extensive wine section, but I guess Im not fancy enough to differentiate good wine from bad (theyre all fermented grape juice to me... When someone says a wine has an oaky aftertaste, I have no idea what theyre talking about). They also have beers and kegs available in an on site refrigerator (gets pretty cold in there). You get to browse around for whatever you want (its like an aisle setup... Very supermarket like) and the staff is really friendly. Absolutely no complaints from this place. Would go again 10/10.

Online ordering is awesome! Order and pay online, then just swing by and pick it up. They will help you take your order out to the car. Great selection, too!

They may have a great selection of merchandise (didnt have my favorite, but offered to try and get it for me) and trying to get in and out of the parking area is frustrating (not their fault) but to be greeted by a very powerful blast of cold air at the entrance totally took me by surprise and is not my idea of something to make me feel good. It hit me straight down from above on my head and ruined whatever hairdo I had accomplished at home. To make sure that it would leave a lasting impression I had to subject myself to this blast again at the exit door.The previous occupants (Staples) managed their store without it and I am going back to shop at Total Wine on Route 7 ( a few more miles to travel) but they have my favorites on their shelves and a noiseless quiet A/C running to keep the place cool without attacking their customers coming and going with a hurricane like blast.

Clean and well lit with a nice beer selection. A little heavy on the number of IPAs, but other than that its worth the trip.I believe they also sell wine, but dont hold me to that.

I finally found here the Smithwick Red Ale that I couldnt find in 3 other stores (1 where Id bought it before and 1 whose website erroneously claimed they sold it). Selection is amazingly good at TW&M, and glad theres beer as well as wine available. Only drawback is checkouts are a bit tight, and parking can be difficult since next door neighbor is Michaels.
