Once you experience Davelles, it will become your new benchmark and it will be tough to shop anywhere else.I recently had an amazing customer experience at Davelles. My wife gave me a gift card just to try it out. I ended up blowing through the amount and spending a whole lot more. Heres why:- Unbeatable, first class customer service, start to finish- You can feel the quality in the clothing and you feel amazing in them- I challenge you to find someone who is more knowledgeable about clothing, fashion, current trends and business than the owner. Hes wearing his credibility and he speaks with insight and conviction. I wanted to take a course from him and Ive been in sales for almost 25 years- Custom-tailored suits. My suits are fitted to me and not a general body type- Dual purpose suits that can both be formal and dressy casual- The feeling you get is similar to staying at a 5-star luxury resort. Makes it tough to go back to a Courtyard Marriott and I love Marriott.Now Im looking forward to the Christmas party, Kennedy Center show, college reunion etc. so I have a reason to roll out my new look. Cant wait.

I have been a customer at Davelles for over 14 years and the quality of service continues to excel. I visited the store yesterday to have some older suits tailored and to also to look at some new suits. While I was able to salvage a couple of suits, other suits I could not because of amount of tailoring required to fit me my recent weight loss.My wardrobe consultant is Tim Bumba who has helped me tremendously over the years to pick out high quality suits that have lasted for over 10 years. This visit he picked out two suits to update me with the latest fashion and then selected suit, shirt, and tie combinations that look amazing.I would and have recommended Tim to my friends because his level of service is extraordinary. With his one-on-one service, you feel more like a part of the family than you do a customer. I would highly recommend this store to anybody looking for fine quality suits and great personal service.

I do like this store. I have probably spent over 8 grand in cloths from suits, to custom made shirts, accessories, shoes and some of hte best dress shirts in the world. If you want good quality clothes that makes you look important, go see Dave. He knows everything about cloths and what fits and doesnt fit your style. I like his charm but be warned he will try to take your money and up sell everything else in between to squeeze out the last penny that you have. I know only go there once a month to buy a shirt or two because before he would try to sell me everything when I make it perfectly clear I only want a shirt or a jacket etc. Prices are fair for the quality and some quality is top notch but you will pay premium prices. I would give this review a 5 star if Dave didnt try to squeeze every penny from me each time I got there.

This is my third or fourth purchasing excursion at Davelle and it will not be my last. I first visited due to the need for custom shirts since my neck size puts me in tents if I buy off the rack. The custom shirts resulted in many compliments on my weight loss even though I didnt lose a pound. So I went back and ended up with some more custom shirts and also some casual clothing that looks great and is a pleasure to wear. Now I have some awesome trademarked Sartorial by David pieces and I couldnt be happier with the service and the quality. Please dont try to shop here if you are looking for cheap clothing, and understand that the prices are actually a good value for what you get. My custom shirts have easily lasted 2-3 times longer than the ugly off the rack shirts from mass retailers, and the name brands they carry are about the same price as Sacks or Nordstrom but with better personal service and no charge alterations. Shop here with confidence and you wont be disappointed. Thank you, David.

Textbook customer service and timeless quality. I favor more conservative suits and ties, and Dave has always pushed me toward, but not over, the edge. Have worn his suits since the 90’s. They have served me well in meetings from K Street to the Oval Office, and have 12 in my closet now.

This is the second time that I ordered something and they sent me the wrong color. Do not custom order anything from them. I ordered a shirt and they sent me the wrong color then they tried to blame it on me. The shirt that they sent to me I already own. Why would I order a shirt that I already have. To top it off they said I could not return the shirt. This is not a place to go if you want good customer service. Do not custom order from these guys. I’m extremely disappointed and will never shop there again

This is a great place to shop for the man in your life. David and his employees are very welcoming and easy to work with to find the perfect gift. David helped me pick the perfect Eton shirts and pocket squares for my boyfriends style. His Sartoriale collection is fantastic as well.

Being a fashion skeptic, I first visited Davelles only because my wife made me go to prepare for our daughters wedding. Davids personal attention to our fitting needs for an entire set of groomsmen not only impressed me, but his selections and ultimate fittings resulted in an awesome event and my own tux turned many heads! Ive returned a few times for sports coats and business suits, again relying on Davids advice and fittings. The results have been great. I get favorable comments at work about my looks, from nice shirt/suit/jacket! to have you lost weight? (and no, I havent). I strongly endorse Davelles, and will be back again!

Another great experience at Davelle. Im a big dude...just out of the range of sizes of most department stores and I dont like the boxy/old man look you get at the warehouse stores. David was able to order me three custom suits at great prices (really not any more expensive than off the shelf) and then tailor them perfectly. In addition got a custom sport jacket that is extra slick. I feel so much better about myself and it helps give me confidence at work. Also, he taught me something about shoes that I never knew. Such a different experience than you might get anywhere else. I fully recommend Davelle.

Buying nice clothing should be an experience and thanks to all of the big box retailers out there, that experience has all but vanished. That is until I found Davelles. It is an old world experience hosted by people who truly know their craft. Their level of competence goes beyond clothing, to service when problems occur. In every situation they have done right by me and continue to earn my repeat business and endorsement.

The clothes I purchased here were expensive and did not fit well. To their credit, they offered free adjustments, but after two such modifications, the jacket still did not sit right on my shoulders. Normally I wouldnt be so picky, but I had understood that these were custom items that were supposed to fit perfectly, and they didnt. Worst of all, though, is the CONSTANT BARRAGE OF SPAM that they have sent me since my initial visit. I get junk mail from them all the time, and whatever technology they use to send it is effective at avoiding Microsoft Outlooks built-in junk-mail tools. I mark their emails as junk all the time, yet somehow they keep coming through, ensuring that I will never visit this place again. Guys: NO ONE WANTS YOUR SPAM EMAILS! STOP IT! :-( Anyway, my advice to new customers (of course) is: whatever you do, dont give them your email address.

The clothing is nice, but pricey. The markup is crazy. The internal workings of the company are in shambles. I believe the owner and his son both have social issues and run their unprofessional organization like a sweat shop as if somewhere in communist China or North Korea. One of the most buzzer unprofessional organizations. I am a consultant, so I can tell you based on many, many short-term assignments. They tell you when to sit, when to stand, how to walk, etc. You get the gist of it. It appalls me in this day and age that companies can run like this. Please just be very Leary when applying for work there. There have been 5 people or so that have run out of there screaming in the last 5 weeks. This is an absolutely real and true review. I believe this is the pattern based on how the owner and his socially-awkward son run the place. Also the owner pays people to clean up the more than negative reviews, so I wouldnt believe half of the good reviews. I just feel sorry for the people that are left there, mostly people who dont speak English and or need sponsorships (in the back office). He prays on these types of people and honestly takes advantage of it. So sad and such a sad place.

Absolutely unbelievable in this day and age!The owner (David) was rude, condescending, and a jerk overall.An associate was showing me shirts, and David turns around and says no, those are too much for him! I couldnt believe my ears!I mean, how does he know whats too much for me? It goes to show that you could wear $500 shirts, $2000 shoes, $5000 suites, but having class, and being a nice person is not something you can buy with money.Very disappointed, and would not do business here.

In the custom clothes they designed and custom fit, I started impressing the right people and built a multi-million dollar business.I now love clothes and fashion. I care about myself and how I present myself. Clothes make the man, its a cliche but its true.If you want to look great, feel great and eqiup yourself to excel in business and life, you need to visit Davelles. Ask for David, but the entire team is great.Truly David is just a master at his craft. Ive never seen anyone better at anything than he is at dressing someone. Im a brand spankin new professional in the area and I received a notification the night before a huge event to speak in front of some really important people. I had absolutely nothing acceptable other than pants (I came from a lower income single mother home and all of my jobs so far havent required anything super professional as far as attire). I went in, met with Tim (one of the guys that work there), and was immediately shown to exactly what I need for my body type. I got a shirt, tie, shoes, and a belt since I had nice-ish pants. I walked out ready to face the event and totally did a great job speaking to them. I felt extra confident because I looked so damn good. This place is great.

They have a selection of excellent quality fabrics from London and Italy it’s in another class then a store like Jos Banksor Men’s Warehouse. Even the off the rack suits I have bought here fit me splendidly. At Jos Banks I had bought a suit that was much cheaper than the ones at Davelles but it fit too loose like I was wearing something I found in a thrift shop and u could tell the fabric was low quality.I don’t think davelles even carries the crappy polyester suits they sell elsewhere.
