Brought my *expensive glasses to Jenny with a hope and prayer she could restore. She did so in ten minutes and with an inviting, fun attitude. HIGHLY recommend this place.

Out of town doesnt mean out of luck. The Eyewear Gallery made my life work again even in sudden crisis. Fixed the glass issue. All in what seemed to be an instant seamless motion. They are a great team. Really!

Dr. Dawn Gammon is the penultimate professional. She is extremely smart, kind, and has lots of wonderful options for eye care, glasses, and contacts. I switched from another Eye Doctor in Reston. The doctors didnt appear to care but the most horrid part of the business was the office manager. He never returned my calls and never assisted when I needed assistance. My husband and I are so happy we moved to Dr. Gammon. The office staff is pleasant and helpful with questions. All are kind and efficient! What a great experience with Dr. Gammon! We will never look back and thankfully, we have found the best eye care professional in NOVA. Weve lived in NOVA since 1975, have gone to several practitioners and finally found THE BEST! Sad news is that we had a store (Edibles Incredible Desserts) right next to her and never went. Weve now moved from the Town Center, but as luck would have it, we found Dr. Gammon and will continue with her as long as we live! Thanks Dr. Gammon for pleasant visits. We feel truly cared for. :)

I wanted to go for an eye exam because of all these amazing reviews shared here but never made it there. I called today, 12/22 and I was asked about my insurance which I provided the information. The lady asked if my insurance covered vision and I made her aware that it did. She indicated that she still had to pull my insurance but she was quite busy so she would call me back. She never called back. I gave it a couple of hours and called them again but there was no indication of anyone planning to call me back. And I lost the appointment slot which should have been scheduled for the next day. I am very disappointed with such a bad customer service.

This is my second year eye exam with Dr. Dawn and she was just excellent. Dr. Dawn is very knowledgeable, pay close care and attention to her patients eye health need. The one very disappointing incident was that i wasnt informed by the office staff the Eye Dilation was a separate medical charge if i did not perform this procedure the same time when i have my eye exam. I came back at a later date to get this done and paid the Eye Dilation cost (which actually was a co-pay for medical, but i thought was just charges didnt cover under regular eye care insurance) which then lead to more subsequent cost due to medical out of pocket. All these confusion could be minimized but also learned to ensure ask more questions in the future. Regardless, believe this is just a one time communication gap.

Fantastic service! my daughter has vision problem that not all eye doctors know how to handle when it comes to check her vision. Dr. Dawn is fantastic in taking great care of her clients and very knowledgeable.

Wonderful experience getting a pair of glasses. I am a petite woman and learned they have one of the largest selection of glasses for me. Most of the time I have to compromise and take what I can but here I had lots of fashionable styles to pick from. Jen was a great help and gave me excellent service. This is a tiny eyewear store in the heart of Reston Town Center. The people there were friendly, but I wouldnt come here again. The selection of frames is minuscule. The brands they carry are low-end, which for some people might be a plus, but I would looking for something more upscale. I ordered new lenses for my existing frames, and they made me sign a damage waiver. When I picked them up, they were damaged. When I expressed dismay about the damage, all the lady had to say was, thats why we had you sign a waiver. Nice.

You can’t beat the individual care that you receive at this location. Very knowledgeable and classy, and wonderful products. Highly recommend

Jen is the bomb. My husband, my daughter and myself all visited here in the last few weeks and all had a wonderful experience. Jen helped us all get new glasses and sunglasses. Jen even helped my young adult daughter keep the bill under a certain price since I couldnt be there. Im the only one who has gotten their glasses back, and I am thrilled. She helped me think outside my usual mindset and I ended up with my most favorite glasses ever!

Unfortunately, she’s usually the last person I speak to when I’m leaving so I end up remembering her interaction instead of the pleasant experience throughout my visit — for this reason I give the office 3 stars instead of 5.

I lost my glasses right before getting ready to leave on a month long trip. The staff at the Eyewear Gallery were amazing and were able to get me a new pair in a couple of days. I really enjoyed my experience with the ladies. There was great professionalism and the energy was so warming and inviting. My appointment was awesome. The doctor was very informative and easy to talk to and very understanding of any questions or concerns that I may have had. Truly a wonderful experience with beautiful people.

Really impressed with my new OVVO frames and all of the added perks like free refills on lens cleaner, etc. The staff were also very helpful with insurance claim paperwork (can still recoup some cost despite them not being in my insurance network). Be aware, it gets pretty busy around noon. Overall very satisfied and will return for any further needs.

I am so impressed not only with Dr. Dawn and her expertise but also with the staff at the Gallery. Jenn Thompson in particular, she knows her stuff and always finds the perfect frames for me and for my prescriptions. I wont go anywhere else for my eyeglasses and exams.

Jen was wonderful in helping me get into a progressive lense that worked for me. When the original Hoya progressive lenses they sold me werent working out she worked with the lab to identify one that would work. At no additional cost to me they upgraded me into a customized progressive that solved all my problems.

Popped in close to the end of the day to see if I could get my glasses repaired quickly and was very surprised at how fast Jenny was able to fix my glasses and get me out the door! Friendly staff and a great location I would highly recommend for any of your eye wear needs

Dr. Gammon and her team are fantastic! My husband and I had back-to-back appointments for our annual exams, and our 4-year-old was with us. Dr. Gammon was gentle and patient with both us and her and answered all of our questions. Shes truly concerned about her patients experience--both in her office and in their lives.

Customer Service is tops! Dr. Gammon takes her time fitting contact lenses, which is especially important for patients like me who wear multi-focal contacts (very tricky to get the perfect balance of distance and near vision). Jenn is amazing at handling orders for contacts and glasses; she is very knowledgeable and her communications are timely and responsive to a patients needs/schedule. Highly recommend!

My eyeglasses have always been hard to fit (something about my ears ...and, being very picky). Jen gets it right so fast every time that at first I was sceptical. Ive gotten at least half a dozen pairs with her over the years so now I know it is skill.

I went to Eyewear Gallery several years ago. I then was 83 years old, in debilitating pain through my head from jaw to scalp. Had been through every medical exam, plus 3 years of opthamologist exams and 2 cataract replacements which did give me excellent vision but no relief from headaches. Next, 2 years with neurologist, no relief from debilitating headaches other than massive narcotics that kept me in bed, unable to read or concentrate.Gave up on internal medicine. What next?All I could think of was external diagnostics. What is external to eye? Optometrist? Fortunately chose Eyewear Gallery. Saw Dr. Dawn for routine exam for new glasses. She said Oh My!, spent 2 hours examining my eyes. She found what she described as an unusual eye birth defect. Wrote me a new glasses prescription. Picked up my new glasses a few days later. Put them on. Headaches and eyestrain gone in 2 days. Now 3 years later and all eye, vision, pain problems gone.I went to Eyewear Gallery to see if they could find problems when my doctor, specialist opthamologists and neurologists had given up.Dr.Dawn saved my life. I have my life back, reading and driving and living with no pain, no eyestrain. For me a miracle.

Today was my first time at The Eyewear Gallery but it certainly did not feel like it. Dr. Gammon, Cindy & Rachel all go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. As a new patient I would have never dreamed that I could call and within 3 hours have seen the doctor! I was having a problem with my eye so I called thinking I would get an appointment maybe by the end of the week but to my surprise they took me at 3pm. When I arrived I was greeted warmly and did not have to wait long until I was in with the doctor. Dr. Gammon is very thorough and informative and genuinely concerned about your eye health. I really appreciated that they took extra time to help me with the prescription I was given that my health plan would not cover. I am looking forward to a long relationship with the business. I took my father-in-law there to have his eyes looked at and to get new glasses. I have to say, not only did they take care of him, they went out of their way to make sure he got glasses that he liked and could still afford. They are very friendly, I would recommend them to anyone.

A nice office that has some stylish frames. The doctor was very nice and professional throughout my visit. She asked questions and seemed genuine. I have only 2 minor concerns with my experience:1. When I ordered my glasses they signed me up for the most expensive package without any consultation or even asking what I wanted. They tried to sell me the most expensive anti-glare, lens material, and something else I cant quite remember. AFTER insurance covered $300 + 20%, my total was over $500! Luckily, my wife had just recently ordered glasses here and I knew a ballpark range for what the cost should be for a similar pair of glasses.I had the receptionist go line by line over the bill. For about 3 features this is how the conversation went:Receptionist: This is the best quality lensME: Did my old pair use that quality, or a lower quality?Receptionist: it was medium quality, which would be X amount cheaperME: Cool, remove the best quality and give me medium quality. I obviously was fine with it for the last 5 years.Repeat that conversation 3 times, and I saved a couple hundred dollars. The lady was very nice about it though! She did not seemed off-put or mad by me making her explain the charges to me. It was handled very professionally. I wont deduct more than one star for this as it is a business and I expect them to try to up-sell you. I just wished they would have asked first before trying to ring up the bill. I told my wife this when I came home and she said they tried to do the same thing to her! Just know this when you go in.2. They seemed to have computer/IT issues a lot. When I first called to set up an appointment she said she would have to call me back because their computer was down to access the schedule. No worries, she called back in about an hour. I was able able to get an appointment very quickly, so thats a positive! Then at the appointment, after I picked out my new frames, she went to ring me up and enter my info but the computer was down for this. We waited for about 10 minutes before she told me just to leave and we could finish up over the phone later. Not a huge deal. I understand the problem will arise from time to time, but something they definitely should look into fixing for the sake of the more disgruntled customers that may come in.At the end of the day, I liked the doctor, I was seen for an appointment quickly, and I got the glasses I wanted at a price I deemed acceptable. I would definitely recommend this place. But remember to ask for the breakdown of your bill before you pay.
