I got a remote starter put in on Nov 18. When I try to use it, it makes the panic alarm go off. If I open my van doors when the vehicle is off, Im the remote starter starts. I have called and left messages 3 times with no response.Update: Happy to report that they made it right to the best of their ability.

I just got asked for my id after giving them my debit card.I walked out.Its just the principle.I have never been asked for an id after providing a debit card that I’m going to input a pin code for.No thanks

I am NOT savvy with electronics, car audio, etc. So when the aftermarket system in my truck had a communication issue, I called about 4 car audio places in the twin cities. The only people that would even discuss my issue with me was Mach1. I spoke with (and later worked with) both Bruce and Kevin. Both great gentlemen, with exceptional knowledge AND people skills. They reminded me of the type of people back in my small home town. Easy to work with, extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend stopping in if you are looking for an upgrade, or any new audio accessories. It is great to do business with gentlemen like Bruce & Kevin! Thank You!

Kevin and the crew at Mach 1 Car Audio are awesome! I took my recently purchased used 2018 pickup with a malfunctioning Viper remote start in for diagnosis and repair, and they got it back working again in no time, and for a very reasonable cost I might add. And it wasnt even purchased from them! I will definitely be doing back to Mach 1 if I ever need any service on my Viper remote start again. Highly recommended!

Would not recommend going here. Very dissatisfied with service and product. Very rude. Asked for a refund and was not given one.Had a deck installed. Went to pick car up and none of the features worked. They didnt connect all the wiring back up so my clock was out and activated my airbag light. Static is also super bad on all features. Was told there was nothing they could do.They are very sloppy. Left the inside of my car dirty, loose fit for deck despite all wire harnesses, and found a key to a car they were working on in the parking lot?!Save yourself the headache!!UPDATE!!!!! they also busted all the plastic around my deck and scratched off a bunch of paint. literally dont think they could have done a worse job. A monkey with one hand would have given better service.

Best audio shop in the cities

DO NOT GET ANYTHING DONE HERE!!I purchased a deck for a birthday present from the Richfield location. Disappointment started early. I ordered silver trim to match the car. Brought the car in for its appointment and they had the black trim. We said it was okay, put it in. We waited on a call all day. Come 6pm we had to call. They said it was finished. Went to pick it up and apologized for taking until 6:45pm. They told us it was finished. Nothing worked on the touch screen deck. Couldnt connect bluetooth. Car play didnt work. Even AM FM had static. They messed up the clock in the car and tripped the airbag senser. Told them and we bright it back in the next day. They called and said it was finished again. Returned and checked out. The apps work, the clock works and the airbag senser light was off. The speakers still have static even with car play or bluetooth. The technician said he did it right and couldnt do anymore. Went home to think about the purchase and didnt want it anymore. Called and talked to the owner Brent. We called to ask for a refund. He told us that we could refund the parts but not labor. He said we didnt give him enough time. (They told us it was finished twice). Go to best buy or do it yourself. Will never be back. Thank for the problems Mach 1 and personally Brent.

Chris is a racist that threatened to call the police and haul me out of the store bcuz he was too lazy to see what was wrong with my alarm system i would not recommend anyone to spend your money with them until Chris is out and i spent over a thousand dollars on radio alarm and remote start installation and to get treated like a criminal bcuz im black is disturbing dont waste your time with them

Called to get a new radio installed in my Bmw 328i and the gentleman who took my call was extremely rude for absolutely no reason. He did not even tell me what his name was nor what location I was calling. I was told by another location that they had a product and could install it but the guy at Richfield location said he could not install the radio for me?

Don’t go here EVER! I ordered a Pioneer NEX head unit and a Viper remote start for $1,300 about three weeks from Bruce who was awesome... that’s where it went down hill. The installers were not professional and very MESSY. They spent 5 hours installing both the stereo and remote start and when I came back the back up camera did not work and the fm tuner had a very weak signal. The remote start would start the car, but it turned off after 5 seconds. Also my windshield had a multitude of hand smudge marks and they was wadded up electrical tape and bits and pieces of wiring on the floor and in the cup holders. I had to get to a corporate appointment so they did not have time to fix it. I brought it back the next Saturday and after waiting 4 hours they called me to tell me that they could not fix any of it because tech support was not open on the weekends. WTF?! So now we are 9 hours and 2 trips into this and I know I made a bad decision. Tonight I brought it back for another 4 hours during the week so they had tech support. They called me up to tell me it was done. I walked down from the coffee shop and Bruce told me they could not get the remote start to work so they took it out. Really? They did get the backup camera to work. I hopped in to test the fm radio and they still had not fixed that. And on top of it all the leather curtain that covers the steering wheel column was ripped out and laying down so I could see all the steering hardware. So.... I took a deep breath and walked back in. I asked Bruce if he could kindly hook up the fm stereo and fix the leather curtain covering the steering hardware? So the tech came out and pulled it back in the shop. An hour later Bruce came out to tell me they tried the 3 different fm antenna ports and none of them would work. I asked Bruce to remove the stereo and give me my money back. He apologize profusely and agreed that they could do no more. This was a horrible experience and a complete waste of 14 hours and 3 trips. Do not go here!
