Really cool store! They have a little bit of everything. I could see spending hours here just checking things out. Huge section of models and trains. Crafts, board games, toys. Something for the whole family! In a convenient location. Lots of parking.

The perfect place for either the amateur hobbyist or those who spend their weekends/retirement building dream cars they never managed to get for themselves. The employees at Hub Hobby are helpful, knowledgeable, and will on occasion will question your battery choice for an RC car... but thats only because they didnt live by Tim The Tool Man Taylors motto that all anything needs is more power!If you are a serious hobbyist, Hub Hobby is the only place you need visit.

These guys are incredible! As a new comer to the remote control hobby, I have found Hub Hobby Center invaluable. John, Kyle and the rest of their team are true professionals! They know their product and have walked me through the many options that are available. Without their help I would likely have walked away from what Im finding to be a very fun and entertaining hobby. This is the place to go for hobby r/c! They have so much more though! This place is huge. Its a great place to go for gifts for kids when you dont know what to get. Just about anything from any shelf makes a great gift. Great place to spend an hour easily and have it only feel like 5 minutes.

Just recently got back into my hobby!!! My first and only place I shop at is hub hobby!!!! I live all the way in Owatonna which is a hour drive! This store has absolutely anything you are in search of!!! Great service, selection, and friendly staff. I’m now a hub hobby customer for life!!!!

All the employees seem to know their stuff. Ive had great experiences there several times. Mostly upscale RC cars, planes, copters, but not too many drones. They have plenty of gadgets, science type experiments, model trains, puzzles, arts/crafts, etc... Store hours : 10-6 daily.

I like to wander around looking at all the fun things one could endeavor. I also get gifts for others here, lots of great stuff.

New to the cities and I havent seen a hobby store like this in 20 years. All the paint, tools, models, and parts you could ever want. Extremely impressed by the variety of glue and specialty tools. Game section is just icing.

I felt like a fish out of water here, in a good way. Lots of neat hobby supplies for a wide range of interests. My only complaint is that its overpriced but I would say thats a fair compromise to keep a physical store like this open.

I recently searched online for a plush Snow Dragon for my daughters Christmas presents. Many sites were sold out, but Hub Hobby had the plush. We live in Maryland so I emailed to confirm availability and shipping prior to making my order. Brandon responded within 4 minutes. He not only confirmed the item was in stock but asked for my order number so that he could watch out for the package to ensure we received before Christmas. There was some delays by the USPS due to heavy delivery of presents BUT I saw the USPS truck outside our house as we returned from Christmas Eve Mass! It was the most wanted gift that my daughter wanted. The Hub Hobby made our Christmas Wish come true!

Absolutely adore this store. Great people, great atmosphere, and great stock. Always go here for my gunpla fix, but also for paint or model kits for my dad. You guys rock, keep up the awesome job

Super cool place with so many different toys, games, and other fun items! We could spend hours looking through their inventory.

I went in a few months ago to get glue for minis we had been gifted. It took repeated tries to get an employee to help us. Two of the employees were just talking to each other and acted like they couldnt hear or see me. One employee sort of tried but didnt know about miniatures and they told us to ask a specific employee that might know then walked away. We had no idea who that was or where we could find them so we just left and bought what we needed on amazon. I work in retail, if you need another employee you bring the customer to them or call them to the customer, you dont leave the customer to go find someone they only have the name of.

I ordered two Disney Villainous puzzles online, as Im currently trying to collect all of them. Im always hesitant to order from places I havent before due to bad experiences in the past, but I gave Hub Hobby a chance and I am SO happy I did. The items came fast, theyre in perfect condition, and they were well packaged. Incredible experience overall. Ill definitely be a repeat customer.

Upon visiting the store we encountered an issue that was not resolved at the store level. After voicing my concerns in a review, the immediate issue was corrected. We went back the next day to purchase a rapid charger for RC car we bought and the guy informed with my wife that the charger would not work with my battery. I had done all prior research and knew it would work. She then asked if they had the AC to DC adapter and he had no clue what she was talking about. What kind of people does this place employ? We ended up driving down to Burnsville to the RC Car Kings to get the charger she was told would not work. It works perfectly. They also advised us about a motor trade in program and other was to improve our car. FYI, Car Kings also had the same car for cheaper even thought I was advised at the Hub Traxxas raised their cost. They may have increased the cost, but not to the extent they are charging at the Hub. I would think twice before wasting your time driving to this place. After two failed attempts, we will NOT be back. What a waste of time, gas and energy.

Very friendly and helpful staff.I appreciate most that this store is improving their paint and tool supplies and are evolving with the serious modelers needs. If I ever need anything they were out of stock or didnt stock, it was a priority for them to find a timely way to put it in my hands. They stock MMP!!! I even saw the new Tamiya Laquer paint being shelved today.Very cool and fun place to visit.

The few times I’ve been here I’ve gotten horrible service. I called today and the women on the phone was just a real catch you next Tuesday, I ask if they carried MechatroWego and she said i don’t know what that is and I described the packaging to her and she didn’t even try to hear what I was saying. Her response was well I’m the gundam person and I can’t leave the register ?? Like I’m okay nevermind I’ll ask the other store.

First time going in there today (7/7/21) as I am getting back into Gunpla and learning how to detail them and paint them...I found that they had all of what I needed and MORE! They have Testors AND Tamiya for model paints...spray can and little bottles. They had Mr. Cement Setter. Tamiya paint thinner. Every details tool you could think of from nippers to sanding tools... All for the price of what you can order online or CHEAPER.This is a decent size store with something for everyone. Its somewhat of a toy store as well as a hobby store. 5/5 cant wait to go again to get more paints I need for my next Gunpla project.

Im from Colorado and visit the in-laws just down the road from this place and make it a point to stop in at least once per vacation visit Ill it is one of my favorite places in Minnesota. Usually spend hours and hundreds each visit and could easily spend more if my wallet and watch allowed. My kind of store.

Huge variety of things here, but alot of people end up coming here to look for the wrong thing. First and foremost they have unbeatable selection for anything related to remote control hobbies, model trains, and scale model building.They also have a good selection of board games, legos, playmobil, and any other toys that could be considered hobby or hobby adjacent.They also carry a small variety of Magic the Gathering boosters and Warhammer models/paints.One of my favorite memories of my childhood was going to see the train displays in back, which are sti there. Great place if you want to spark your childs interest in something tactile instead of screen related.

Best of the best!! Staff is VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE and John and the boys will get you taken care of, whatever RC or hobby needs you might have. Solid advice, great selection of TrAXXAS models, RC vehicles, PLANES, drones, drone accesories. Even if you need assembly, wires soldered, or shop time, they will make it happen. I have been using the RICHFIELD Hub Hobby Center for better than 15 years--- Best in the TwinCities, by far!!

I was looking for a specific toy that my granddaughter wanted for Christmas. I had ordered it elsewhere only to be notified the next day that it was unavailable. I could not find it online anywhere. When I Googled it, Hub Hobby popped up but it said unavailable on their website. I took a chance and called the store on Thursday evening. Lucky for me, Jonathan answered, found that the item was not in stock and offered to check the inventory at their other store and call me back. He located one there, offered to have it transferred to his store and by 11am on Friday it was already on its way to me. Jonathan, thanks to your amazing customer service, my granddaughter will be delighted on Christmas morning!

It was gigantic! I usually go to the one in Maplewood/Little Canada, but I already bought everything from there. It was super cool. Everyone was wearing masks and it was clean and orderly. Big selection.

Its hub hobby, of course it gets 5 stars. My girl and I purchased 4 different rc trucks in like two months. They have awesome selection. Complete knowledge of the hobby and if u bring a rc vehicle in with a question or issue they are not afraid and do not hesitate to jump right in to ur investment and find the problem and inform u what is needed and how to do it. They are amazing.

The employees say hello when you walk into the door. Its great to be acknowledged when you walk in to shop. I was asked if I needed help and said yes. I was looking for a part for an older rc car. Sure enough Hub delivered and had the part for my rc car, and not just that the employee (employees ) helped until the part was found also suggested other alternatives. Friendly staff and a huge selection of items! Me and my girlfriend come here specifically for the gunpla which they have a lot of. The only downside is parking but for the most part its great!

Games books and lots of toys take your time and look around you might find a good deal or two they have a kids section with books and a play table we use a lot when we visit they also have lots of bicycle accessories.
