Horrible service. Deceptive. I asked for a ponytail that costs $40. They pointed at a row of hair pieces, but EVERY one I pointed to was a higher price. I picked one up to look for the price and there is no price on any of the items. Ruth indicated that the price is based on the style number but there are no prices on any items in the store. So they can point to a row and say look over here for some thing that price but then come up with a different price when you pick something out.They also have false advertising. The sign out front says buy one wig get the second 50% off. There is nothing on the sign that says it applies to any special wigs or any limitations. Inside I’m told that it’s only on the real hair wigs that cost more than $400 each. I did take a picture of the sign front and back, nowhere does it indicate a certain type of wig. Ruth said there was a note on the back of the sign indicating real hair wigs only - that is not true.You blocked any response. I’m not the one who yelled. Check the video again, it was Ruth yelling. I never raised my voice. Also, if the owner is out of the country for 3 weeks and unavailable then is this Ruth’s daughter responding and not really the owner. Seems like even more lies. Very dishonest business.

3 stars because the older lady there was really nice and helpful. Otherwise, I would give this place 2 stars. I have never in my life seen so much stuff crammed into a store like this one. Every square inch of the store is full. Wall to wall, top to bottom. I couldnt even find the checkout counter when it was time to make my purchase. There is absolutely no order in the store. Its almost like someone lives there. Boxes and plastic totes stacked up everywhere! Boxes of products opened and tossed around. You have to tiptoe and turn sideways to get through the aisles, stepping over things along the way. Come to think of it there arent really any aisles. Stuff everywhere. Random pairs of shoes on boxes with packs of hair. Large, family style cans of corn stacked on the floor. Random bottles of Gatorade sitting on a display in the middle of the store. This is an accident waiting to happen. God forbid a fire break out. Youd have a time trying to make it to the door to get out. Its Iike a maze in there. Not to mention tons and tons of different products, some of which Im sure have been on the shelf for years. Some of the products look old and dated. Theres so much stuff in this store that you cant possibly see it all. They need to hire a company to come in and get that place organized before someone gets hurt! Lastly, the call or knock because Im in the back sign on the door is ridiculous. Either youre open or you arent. People dont have time to call you or knock and wait. Whats going on that you need to lockup inside the store?

This lady charged me $7.00 for some 1.99 wrap strips and they were old as dirt Im mean Everytime I go to tie one it breaks the only reason I paid for them was because For 1 they are the only hair store over here and 2 they dont get any customers and now I see why.In response to the response the item was not new infact nothing in that store is new its covered in dust and outdated and overpriced if they had hoarders for business you would be the first episode it is too junky in there yall need to organize and clean up dearly

I got the personal help I needed from, the person working her name is Ruth a very sweet and personable young woman who helped to buy the right wig for me.

I found this wig shop thru Google, a mother and daughter business. I have been to plenty of wigs store, but this was the best, because the owner knows all her wigs and which are best, and she give you knowledge of wigs how to take care of them. She even helps you learn how to apply your wig. Only thing is she has outgrown her store and you may be overwhelmed but give it a chance, cause they are very sweet people, very knowledgeable and the wigs are good!!

Never in my life have I seen a place that dirty and boxed crammed up everywhere. Nothing in the store was priced the older lady was making up prices as she went causing my aunt to buy an overpriced wig. We had one put on layaway and when we went to cancel and get the $40 we put down back they refused it which isnt how layaway work. Overall Id rather drive all the way out to Gigis beauty supply which is almost an hour away. This place was Terrible.

Drove 30 minutes to come here only to have a horrible experience. The young girl there was very rude and the woman who was supposed to be helping me took a call in the middle of me telling her what I was looking for.The level of service here was awful, if I could give it zero stars I would. Also be careful they lock the door after you walk in so if youre the only person in the store it feels like they wont unlock it until you buy something.

Was visiting different wig stores and this was one. Door stays locked for some reason only allows one person at a time. Watches you like a hawk and before you leave will ask to check your bag... very unprofessional business and doesn’t seem safe if you’re alone FYI. Stuff is everywhere can barely walk. Wigs are poor quality compared to other cheap wigs. Had my eye on one pretty wig that was way overpriced she said was human hair but didn’t look like human hair fully and I’ve been purchasing hair for ten years already. Wouldn’t spend more than five bucks at this place, seriously. Around this area I recommend Samantha Kay’s beauty supply! Maybe because I prefer clean organized places.

I couldnt find the hair that I needed at my normal beauty supply store, so I googled one near me; as I was in desperate need. Luckily I found this place! She was sooo kind, attentive & welcoming!! They have a very large selection. To be honest, I rated 3/5 stars because I did pay about $50 more than what I normally pay for the hair & I was not prepared for that (my family has been using this hair for 20+ YEARS & have never spent that much on it) HOWEVER, I am thankful that I located this place because I needed new hair & there was plenty in stock, along with the option to purchase it in bulk! Also, she was so sweet, understanding & also gave me a gift! I gained a big sister today! Haha Great customer service. I recommend this place!

It was my first time buying a wig so I knew next to nothing. Ruth was very helpful and thorough. She understood what I was looking for and directed me to a beautiful wig that met my needs. She took the time following my purchase to show me exactly how to apply the wig and care for it. I called the store twice once I got home to get clarification on a couple of specifics. The first time she was with another customer but called me back within 10 min. The second time I spoke with her daughter (I think ) and she took about 15 min to answer my questions. Great first time wig buying experience. Will absolutely be back!!!Oh and my husband absolutely loves it!!

I had the most wonderful experience at El Beauty Supply & Wigs yesterday. I had a fitting with Ruth and she was so much fun. I have tried ordering online and was sent the wrong wig and you cannot get a refund. Never again will I buy online from Kami Wigs. I am sure to return to El Beauty in the future.

If I could give this place zero stars or minus stars I would. The shop is cluttered with so much old, out dated junk that you cant even walk through it safely. I went in to buy a Styrofoam head (9.00! when they are 4.00 at Hobby Lobby) and the employees cant speak English to where it understandable. I think more is going here than meets the eye. They also keep the door locked for some reason? Just strange. I think the owner might be a hoarder at its best.After reading more reviews I would like to add: When I was checking out, I noticed the foam head was smaller than ususal and not in real new condition in addition to the exorbitant pricing, so I told the sales lady Id changed my mind and didnt want the head. She said, Oh Im sorry we have a not refund policy. I told her too bad that this was not a final sale since Id never signed my charge ticket and never walked out with the merchandise and that the state needed to investigate their business. She argued with me for a few minutes and I insisted that she call the owner. She did, speaking to HIM in her native language. She appeared frightened speaking to him and I wondered if she was a slave laborer? She finally got off the phone and said HE said to refund my money. Then she started trying to credit my account but didnt know how. She called the company they use for their credit card system and they told her over and over again how to make the transaction once they finally understood what she wanted to do (Language barrier). I ask her if I could help her and ask to look at the machine. It clearly said ENTER REFUND AMOUNT but she was afraid to do it! I encouraged her to try it and she did. Then it wanted a VERIFICATION CODE again she didnt know where to find it so I found it on the original charge ticket. Again she was fearful to enter the code but eventually did when I encouraged her. I felt so sorry for her and ask her if she was safe but her only reply was Please forgive me, Im so sorry for your trouble over and over. She clearly hasnt been trained to make any kind of alterations or transactions except for purchases. This place needs to be investigated not only by the fire department for safety issues but to make sure the employees are safe.

She even offered for me to layaway the wig.I picked it up this past Saturday and its beautiful. There were other customers in the store at the time, who complimented me on the looks, etc.Im a satisfied customer who will continue to do business with her.

I have never been in this location before.. However, I stopped in looking for hair gel.. Mrs. Ruth, was very knowledgeable about all the products of my interest. I love this place. They have a huge selection and pretty much always have what I need. Ruth is super helpful and kind as well. If you stop in make sure to get her raw shea butter. She gets it from Africa and scoops it straight out of the shell for you! It’s worked wonders for my hair and skin.

My sweet family member had lost her hair due to stage 4 cancer. Our other family members from all over were coming to town to celebrate her and she wanted to look special. This was very important to her- she needed a lift Up. Little did we know that when we walked into El Beauty Supply that not only would she get the perfect wig but the most beautiful tender Lift Up, Up, Up by Miss Ruth. She was so incredibly helpful and sweet helping her find the perfect one all the while speaking such words of encouragement!!! At the end, we all stood in a circle, holding hands, while Miss Ruth spoke the most powerful prayer. We were all crying and hugging. Who knew it would be so much more than a wig??? He knew!!! I stopped here the store had already closed but, the owner let me quickly locate what I needed. I was happy to see it was black owned. She was very nice & helpful, even gave me free samples of things to try for my face & body. I arrived after closing hours so I didnt get a chance too look around but, I will be back. I can appreciate the fact she was very helpful unlike many of the Asian beauty supplies who like to covertly watch you and follow you around as if you plan to steal something.

I will say that she will take the time to help you find the items you are looking for, but it is probably more so to ensure you are not taking anything (because the store is a mess), rather than just good customer service.I came in looking for wigs, and was extremely disappointed that I was being quoted prices in the $100-$150 range for wigs that were supposedly human hair. They were not. They were noticeably synthetic fibers. I am very knowledgeable in wigs and frequently shop both human and synthetic, so I know the difference between the two. If they were truly human hair, I would have been more than happy to pay that amount. In addition to that, most of the wigs on display seem to not be in stock. Why have them out to see if you do not have it?I will not be returning.

I dont have local beauty supply in my area so I went to El Beauty supply. I have to say it was a wonderful experience. Mrs. Ruth was an angel! She helped my find what I was looking for, but what won me over was that she noticed my daughter had eczema and shared information and treatment for my sweet little girl. She cared as if it were her own child.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!!We bought a wig just the day before. She (Ruth) claimed it to be all natural hair and charged us more than $200 for it. When we tried the wig at home, the hair started to come off and in large quantity. Went back the next day to get a replacement, NOT FOR REFUND but she said that she will get the same brand from another store but will charge us $20 more replace the faulty product that she sold us. She asked us to come back later in the day and refused to take the faulty product. When we insisted on not taking the faulty wig home, she pushed us outside the store and locked it. Never felt so humiliated in my entire life..... She just ripped us off $ 247.77 including tax. We left the crappy wig she sold us at the shop.This is daylight burglary.... This is not the right way to make money and do business. Extremely unhappy with this experience and I suggest never get into this store. You will lose your money guaranteed.I am sure, if at all a reply comes from the management, they going to say, Ruth acted as per our policy to just throw our customer out of the store and we dont entertain any complaints even though the product we sold is bad. They just going to say, forget you money and self respect !!!
