Good morning and like to do a little bit of bragging about a dealership, that while I didn’t purchase the vehicle there initially, they took card of me as if I did .I had some engine trouble with my vehicle so I called up Rick Hendrick Chevy G M C service I got lucky to make contact with,Mr. Bronson Robertson, Rick Hendrix client service advisor .In my case the car was under warranty so Bronson, was able to find me a car while mine was repaired. His communication was incredible, as he navigated me every step of the way, from ordering of the parts, to when the mechanics received them. Also, when work on my vehicle was started, to when 100% ready.Their service department did an excellent job getting the vehicle back on the road quickly as possible. I highly recommend Rick Hendrick Chevrolet, highly recommended Bronson Robertson and highly recommended also there body shop, as I’ve sent every year and make I’ve owned there, for flawless results . I had a radio recall and an oil change and it took 2 hours and I had an appointment. You should inform people of the length of procedure prior-I have never had a 2 hour oil change. And I should have been asked if i had the time to do the recall that day if that was the delay. I missed an evening appointment after being told it would be done very soon. it wasnt.
I just moved back to area, so was able to resume my free oil changes at your dealership. I tried to get an appointment to get my oil changed but had to wait OVER two weeks to get in. Then I was told by service advisor I could leave but received a bill for $25. I called number on my invoice that sent me to Norfolk. They gave me a number in Richmond but just rang. No one picked up. I texted back but got no response re: payment. None of my paperwork showed any results if my visit. How is my car doing? Do you recommend anything? At this point I’m really leaning towards not coming back. I can get the oil changed closer to my house at a more convenient time
Ive bought several cars from several dealerships and Rick Hendricks is above and beyond any other car buying experience Ive ever had to date. Craig was very accommodating, knowledgeable, and helpful -- never pushy or salesy. They have a very clean, modern facility. Everyone is extremely pleasant and helpful. I got the perfect vehicle at a fair price and am very satisfied with my decision to give them my business. Craig even called me a couple of days afterward to make sure everything was going smoothly and that I didnt have any questions or concerns.** I was not asked to provide this review, and I dont normally take the time to do so. I had driven a Traverse at another dealership but my husband had checked with your dealership and the price seemed better. So we set up a time and met with a very sweet young lady that actually sold us the car. We got a really good deal because the sales manager met with us and did an excellent job of getting us the price we needed to purchase the car. It was late that day so we went back the next day, which was a Saturday to pick up the car and when they were detailing it, they found a tiny dent, so we left the car and came back on Monday to pick it up. The dent was gone and the car was beautiful. I love my Traverse! Its now been in for its first service and the service manager was so nice. No bad experience at all and everyone there is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I proud to drive a Hendrick Chevrolet Traverse!

Located the vehicle I wanted on line last week. I was contacted by a salesman who sent me the price of the vehicle. I scheduled a test drive however when I drove the hour to the dealership the sticker price was $3000 more then what was sent to me. They stated that those were dealer add-ons and refused to take off the equipment that I did not want or need. $1200 for running boards $400 for the tinting of the two front windows, $200 for nitrogen in the tires, $200 for a four set of wheelocks etc. This was the only vehicle in the area with the engine I wanted so I asked them to send the info to my credit union who I had already arranged financing with. After hearing nothing back from my salesman I called him the following day and to his credit he answered on his day offI was told to call the dealership and make sure the vehicle was still there which I did and arranged to pick it up the following morning at 0900. When I got there at 0845 the vehicle was still in the parking lot not cleaned and definitely not ready. Finally at 1030 the vehicle was taken back to be cleaned as I finally went back to see the financial manager where I was given a different total amount. After some back and forth and almost arguing it turned out they had added a subscriotion to on star and xm radio onto my bill as well as did not take the wheel locks off the price. The general manager that day as well as the financial manager never once apologized for the miscalculation or my extended wait. Had it not been for the this being the only vehicle in the area with the engine I wanted I would of walked out. They care less about your time there and try and hide hidden costs on your vehicle so watch out. I will never recommend this dealership to anyone. This experience was NOT enjoyable like buying a vehicle should be. The customer service here is one of the baddest Ive seen.UPDATEI contacted the listed person who asked to give her time to see about making the situation right. I was told she would call me back the following morning after she spoke to her general manager. After not hearing back from her I called her back in the afternoon and was told she had not spoken to the manager yet but she would and that she would call me back the following morning. I once again did not here from Mrs Fein. I called once again today and was told she had already left. The great customer service continues and I would still not recommend this dealership to anyone. They say they strive for 100% customer satisfaction and I cant even get them to call me back.Spoke to David Strom today who is an awesome guy made everything right. After dealing with him I found out that Rick hendrick chevrolet does care about their customers and their feelings. I would definitely recommend them to buy your next vehicle
Very poor service, my I appointment was on Thursday 7/29:21, 7:45 A.M., I took my truck to the dealership late Wednesday afternoon. My service was for an OIL and Filter Change along with Tire Rotation. I also had a transmission hard shifting issue to be resolved too. I did not get my truck back until Friday afternoon. I took me a week to get an appointment, when I have a scheduled appointment I expect to get my truck back the same day especially when my appointment was early 7:45 AM. My service agent called and told me that work was backed up since the dealership was so busy. I called the Service Manager and he did not answer his phone I had to leave him a voice mail and asked him bro call me at his convenience. He never called me back. This is rude and not good customer service. When a customer spends thousands of dollars on a vehicle I as a customer expect to be treated well after the sale too. It does not take from Wednesday to Friday to service a new vehicle with just over 20,000 miles. I had the same service performed in Oct. 2020 and got my truck back in about 3 hours I waited on my truck that day. I spent $4,000 dollars for an extended warranty so if I had anymore transmission issues it would be covered via the warranty. I was charged $162 for the transmission issue. I was told by my service the work the transmission technician performed was a computer issue and it was not covered under my warranty. Not good. It seems there is always a catch when it comes to warranties and the customer still has to pay. Now I am forced to continue to use HENDRICK GMC for service because I bought the extended warranty there and no other GMC dealerships will honor it. I have checked with other GMC dealerships and was told they could not honor another dealership warranty. I am 75 years old and have owned many Chevy and GMC vehicles over the years and never had a problem at a dealership service department before until last week. When a customer calls the service manager he or she deserves a call back after all it is the customers that are paying all workers salaries at the dealership. Have a good day hopefully my opinion and my experience will Improve customer service going forward.
Havent had a bad experience yet when talking to the service representatives. In fact the representative (Thomas)that Ive talked to is very accommodating and welcoming. Those attributes are what I look for when I take my car to a dealer for service, how the representatives interact with me.

I must say this Dealership is Very Beautiful!! nice neat and clean. The female sales person that assisted us was very nice but the sales manager has literally lost his mind. Becareful purchasing a vehicle from here theyre out to get you!!!. An OVER PRICED!! Explorer Conversion Van was looked at yesterday with a purchase price of $36k. It is a 2010 Black in color with 35,063 miles. The condition of the van was good not great with a sagging headliner faded head and taillights. The trim along the side of the van was separated and loose from the body. The roof paint was cracked from what I assume heat from being exposed to the sun 🌞 during those summer months. The original window sticker back in 2010 when it was sold was $35,840. Their listed price 11 years (2021) later is $36,395 now how is that possible 🤔. The sales manager came out and basically insulted our intelligence by trying to convince us that this price is legit due to add-ons that the van has that is listed on the original sticker. We tried to inform him that the price thats on the original window sticker includes all of the upgrades and features that is listed at that original price.How can you sell something more now then what it cost 11 years ago with age defects which is a validation for depreciation?

A few weeks ago, I stopped by to put my pup in the back of one of the Buick Encore’s that was on site. Craig McCarron was more than happy to assist and chat about the car, as well as my sweet pup that I had with me. I decided after a few weeks that I wanted to go back for the Encore if it was still available and it turns out the day I went back for it, it was on the trailer to go to a different dealership! I called Craig and he immediately went to find out if they could get it off the trailer to hold it for me. He called me back within minutes to let me know they would go get it and would have it ready for me when I arrived. Upon arrival, the vehicle was sitting right out front already warmed up and ready for a drive. The Rick Hendrick team was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the day and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. My sweet pup Mae loves her new ride and gives it an A+!!

I was told my problem was multiple different things by different service managers and one of the things that I was told wasnt even relevant to a mechanical issue with the engine, which is what the real issue was. At the very least make sure you are on the same page when talking to a customer or if you dont know the issue just say you dont know instead of making up random things. No one could accurately tell me how long it would take to fix my truck and I only got a phone call when it was ready after a few weeks. The lead time to fix my truck started at days and turned into weeks which mirrors the issue of employees just making things up to have an answer instead of just being honest and saying they didnt know. My truck was purchased for work and the loaner vehicle I received was a small SUV without a trailer hitch so my work was impacted. This truck was a change for me as I have always owned Toyota Trucks and never had any major issues with them, but I decided to go with a Chevy and it has already had its engine torn down to replaced parts with less than 10,000 miles on it.
Everyone I had the pleasure of interacting with was friendly, nice, and helpful! They were also very quick and honest about a part I didn’t need. I will definitely be going back!

What a terrible shop. Your mechanics should seriously be evaluated by professionals because the overcharging, unnecessary repairs they try to throw on hard working people like me is pathetic. Never would I recommend this dealership and never will I be back. Sad.

Stanley was my advisor and he was extremely polite and courteous. He gave me options for the needed repairs to be completed and explained everything thoroughly. He answered any follow up questions I may have had. Also I interacted with Tommy in parts and everything that Stanley was and did for me Tommy did as well. So to make a long story short the two individuals mentioned should receive some sort of recognition for their hard work.
This dealership does not share its service data with Carfax. This statement came directly from Carfax. If you are getting your vehicle serviced here be prepared to have zero information on your Carfax report. I called and had to leave a message for John Berry the service manager about this issue and he has yet to return my call. This speaks volume on the way they are operating this dealership.They want to show you the Carfax for the cars they have for sale but they themselves do not report anything they have done to your vehicles. This is unfortunate as they always want to show you the Carfax report on what they have for sale. This means they could have done a lot of repairs/body work for a used vehicle they have for sale and you would never know anything different.*Edit. Apparently you have to go into the dealership to speak to anyone. Their response proves that they wont call you back even when the person on the phone advised me to leave a message with my return number and he would call me back.

My salesman Chuck Jones was unbelievable. He was helpful, patient, and responsive. Couldn’t imagine a better guy to work with. The only small comment I had was waiting for my insurance company to get back to us (which took about 45 minutes) stalled the rest of the process. I think everything else should’ve been able to roll along with sales, detailing and financing as we waited. Instead it cost me almost an hour of sitting in the showroom wasting my day.

However they were able to find me the next best thing! And it came out to be under my budget, and they worked with me to get me to close as they could to the monthly payment I needed and succeeded! Would Highly recommend shopping with Rick Hendrick Chevy, Buick, and GMC and asking to be set up with Ebony and Dawn.As a side note and icing on top of the already great service, Ebony knew I was in a rush towards the end due to some snags that came up when preparing my paperwork, so in process of signing my paperwork she took the few things still left in my vehicle that I traded in and put them into my new vehicle and had it ready for me to go as soon as I left the building! I have never had such terrible service at a dealership. My boyfriend checked the oil and the salesperson had no idea what that stick was for??? Really!?
I think they are too big for their pants.My previous CSR left, so I scheduled an appointment with a new one. They have two sets of bays, east and west, so I emailed the new CSR to determine which bay to go to.... No response.I chanced it, and when I get there, the appt seems to be with a completely different person, which just ordered parts yesterday for an appt that was setup 2weeks ago. They should be here soonWaiting on the vehicle, I was the youngest in the room, but the CSR still could not remember if I was whom he want to talk to. Paperwork reports that they advised me on this and and advised me on that, nope had none of those discussions, but the CSR probably scores more points if they put that down.Rolled in before 8am rolled out at 4pm, long day to sit in waiting room. People watching is great. They have water, tea, coffee... That is it. Dealership is clean. They had Plexi barriers up at CSR desk, but nobody was wearing a mask, seems like lipstick treatment of COVID protocols.Maybe I should try a different dealer.
Jeff Barton always takes great me when I visit the store. Jeff and his team got my truck serviced and back to me quickly and I really appreciate that.
Theron listened to what I wanted, set me up with the truck that met every one of my needs, expertly answered every question my wife and I had, and then streamlined us through the entire process. Every step was seamless and pain-free. Even when there was a problem with my trades title that caused us not be be able to use it in the purchase, Theron and his business manager didnt miss a beat and found an easy way to let me keep my new keys. Overall my wife and I could not be happier with the whole experience! Seriously, thanks for everything and I will see you at my first service!
