Just wanted to name some of the great people that helped me throughout the process. Ty is awesome and welcomes you into the Dodge family with a personal approach and lots of good stories. Sal is as professional as they come. He was setting up my truck during the test drive to sync my phone and other services. Our paperwork and contract process went very quickly and great conversation while we waited briefly for Finance to pull the paperwork together. After that I got to meet Mike in the Finance department who was just as welcoming and took the time to educate me on things I was not considering through the process.. It was a cool experience with all the time saving technology they use to navigate you through all the contractual and financial pieces. Lastly Greg the Manager is available and interested in each customers experience. All I have to say is you are in the market for anew Dodge this is the place you should go for a great purchasing experience.

Bought a radio brand new At a discounted price because it because it was ordered and not installed. Then I paid them to install the radio and the radio turned out to be bad but they still charged me for Installation. I asked for my key fob to be fixed and that was ignored. Service agent was curious, professional and tried hard to help.

The team at Hilltop Dodge went above and beyond in handling the sale, ordering, financing, and delivery of my new 2021 Dodge Challenger Hellcat Redeye Widebody. Leon, Greg, Mauricio, and the finance manager were efficient and courteous. They kept me informed on my order status, and when the car arrived in Benicia, they made it a priority to secure it quickly. The dealership had an excellent COVID protocol, and I was very impressed with the flat desktop computer used to sign all the paperwork. I walked out of the dealership with a zip drive with all my signed documents which I could upload for safekeeping, and most importantly, I felt safe through the entire transaction. I have been a customer of Hilltop Dodge and Ford for over 20 years. Theres a reason I keep returning, and it has everything to do with the customer service and the employee retention with many of the same employees still employed with the dealership from the day I bought my first car from them over 20 years ago. I will continue to patronize this dealership and look forward to my next vehicle purchase from them.

I had a good experience with the sales team over there. I special ordered a Jeep Wrangler and the process was very straightforward and their team communicated with me throughout the entire process. This was the first time that I have bought a car and actually liked the dealership more after the purchase.
Run, Run as fast and as far away from this dealership as possible. They like to loan out customers vehicles that they are supposed to be fixing to other customers. And when your vehicle is in an accident while it is being loaned out without your knowledge they try to cover it up and hope you wont notice. They dont want to responsibility for their actions and make it right. Buyers Beware
It took 12 minutes to recognize that someone is in line - despite of having an appointment. When you want to sell a car, 10 people will gather together to serve but when it comes to repair service, there is an attitude and occupied team.....wow!?!

I just bought a truck from Hilltop Dodge. And I have to say it was a good experience. My salesman was Tiant Davis and hes a young guy that has a good feel for sales. Hes knowledgeable, and informative without really trying to sell you on the product. I think thats pretty much as good as it gets at a car dealership.
Having decided we wanted a new Ram truck, we went to several North Bay dealerships. The guys at KcKevitt in Berkeley were not particularly engaged, and we got the full on hard sell at Walnut Creek, the exact stereotypical experience you expect. In-between we’d been to Hilltop, and we went back the following day, preferring to give them our business. I cannot speak highly enough of them - courteous, helpful and straight up. Even after we’d put a deposit down, they kept us updated on the timing, and on pickup they were genuine and no nonsense. We worked with Tiant and the manager Greg - if you want an enjoyable buying experience, I’d recommend both in an instant.

Before buying my Gladiator Mojave at Hilltop, I visited four other Jeep dealerships in the SF Bay Area. From my first phone call to Hilltop, I was greeted kindly and treated with respect. I felt no high pressure sales pitch and conversations we authentic.
Ive been to many dealerships in the bay and for some reason Ive always been drawn to the Broadway set of dealers in Redwood City. Their sales team is knowledgeable about the cars. More importantly, I wanted to check out a Nissan Nismo and at the same time look at a Dodge Challenger. Aramis and David were a great help! Look for them, let them know I sent you over.

However when it says they were also gonna do an inspection and so obviously didnt or just did it 1/2ass is why i only posted 3 star.maybe they didnt care enough because i only brought it in for the recalls so it wasnt a job i had to pay for.idk. This is a wonderful dealership. Almost all of the the staff was professional. Our salesman was Jared Smith and he took his time and walked us through everything. He was very detailed and thorough when he answered our questions. His communications were consistent and professional and we did not have any surprises. I would definitely recommend him. The only small thing that happened was one of the other team came in to insult Jared about his shirt in the middle of our negotiations. Jared took it with a grain of salt and continued business as usual. I felt that it was rude. I would definitely ask for Jared Smith if you are considering buying. The service department was amazing and the rest of the staff were welcoming. The reception, offices, waiting room were all clean. We love our truck! Great Dealership!
I own a 16 Grand Cherokee and the battery kept dying. In short: these guys fixed it and a few other necessary items when 2 other mechanics had no idea what was going on. Their service was amazing and would take my car back there in a second.My battery has died a few times. I live in SF and have 0 space to work on it, unfortunately. I took my car into my local mechanic after reading about shorts in several forums. They could not find the issue. They only recharged my battery and said everything was good...Car died again. I jumped it and drove to a Jeep specific mechanic. They told me the internal computer was fried and I needed it replaced. Never checked the ground. They referred me to Hilltop. Although I drove my car to this mechanic, I had to tow it to Hilltop... wasnt happy and pretty much fed up with everyone.I called a few other dealerships in the area and they all took their sweet time to get back to me. Hilltop picked up and said they were packed. Could take the car. But, probably could not actually fix it for a few days. OK, fine. Im working from home (fortunately) because of CoVID and didnt need it.Towed the car there and it was seen the same day. I got it back a day later after they jumped through a bunch of hoops to help alleviate some of the cost because I was 2,000 miles over the warranty. They fixed the short which was the issue and cut my bill in half. They were AMAZING and I cannot say enough positive things about them.

The service department is terrible at this location. Had an appointment for 7:20am and arrived on time. Spoke with the service department and informed them multiple times I only had one day to get our work truck looked at. Come 4pm the truck still had not been moved. Picked up without any diagnostics or an apology.
So i came to check out some jeeps that was one year ago and not going to lie the people that work there where nice. They dind not pressure you to get a car they where nice. That day i dint get a car but i came back one year latter and bouth a car with them .
This was the best Dodge car buying experience I have had. I inquired about the vehicle I wanted on the website got a rapid response and was able to negotiate an out the door price over email and text message that they honored. I came in signed paperwork and left with the truck. Very smooth process.
Im still in the market at this point. The first guy truly disappointed me, he took my name and number and told me he would cal me when the vehicle I wanted was in. I drove by today and sure enough they had 5 of them!So I pulled in to take a look, was quickly greeted by a smiling employee named Ray, He gave me full attention and was eager to help me. Ray is the kind of salesperson you hope for, one whos not afraid to say I dont know. And he always fallowed that up with let me find out real quick and he did!I was in and out with the information I wanted in no time and at no point was I pressured to do anything. No pushy test drive, no rush to get me to sit in it. It was exceptionally refreshing. I will be back here as soon as I am ready to buy. Hopefully the rest of the service goes as well.

We were looking to upgrade our current suv and thought we should see what kinds of deals were out there during this crazy time. We found the exact Jeep we were wanting and with the specials and deals that are currently going on, it was an awesome deal! Couldn’t pass it up! Process was definitely different than the usual, but pretty easy. Most of it was completed via email & online. Then we scheduled an appointment to come in, test drive, sign & drive away. Terrible blue customer service, My husband and I went to Jeep/ dodge dealership to try to buy a Rubicon on Monday May 18, the sales person was giving us information about the car explaining the difference in price and features between a wrangler and rubicon, we told him what we want and to give us an estimate base on the credit score my husband has, he kept telling my husband to go home get in the computer and add everything you want on the Rubicon so he can figure out how much it will cost him; it was windy and I was getting annoyed and uncomfortable with the answer; finally I told him to give me a number base on his credit score. So he turn around and told us i’ll Be back trying to leave us waiting outside, then realized it’s windy and told us to come in and wait on the sofa, a minute late I heard his manager laughing telling him the monthly and how many month, they both started laughing, right away he came to us and told us the same thing I had just overheard; and I ask what was the interest rate base on the credit score he told us a high number out of the blues; so unprofessional, so disrespectful. He turn around and gave two business cards, I did not grab my, but my husband grab it when he insisted. I wanted to tell him and his manager off, but instead, I left and never will comeback to give my business here I will rather drive a little way where sales person are professionals and respectful. Don’t judge people on how they look or dress. We are professionals and have our on business for over 31 years and that’s why I still on with my business. No wonder your dealer was empty, DON’T BUY A CAR HERE

Review for service department!!My issue: Dodge Sprinter van key was stolen, so I needed to buy a custom key and have it programmed to my vehicle. I got the key from Concord, but not once in all my calls/correspondence did they tell me they couldnt do it EVEN after I got it towed their dealership. Only when the tow truck driver was about to drop my van did someone tell us.Richmond, on the other hand, was super easy all the way through. They were sympathetic on my behalf (why sell a key you cant program?), quickly arranged an appointment, and got me outta there in half an hour when the estimated time was 3-4 hours. The staff was super kind at every step - even when I was standing outside waiting for the van to be pulled up, several employees checked to make sure I was being served.I will definitely be coming here for my Sprinter van needs. Highly recommend.

Express Oil Change with a 6 hour wait?? Dont promote this if it isnt true. Customers before deciding on service work read the reviews and decide for yourself. Comments are positive for sales dept but very poor for service dept.If you have an advertising sign promoting Express Oil Change Service and yet dont. This isnt the first time I tried to have my oil change here and so I go someplace else. This time I arrived at 10 a.m. and two different female service employees in service both said that they did not know if they could change my oil because I did not have an appointment, and if they could get to it, the soonest I would have my car oil changed and would be done would be approximately 3-4 p.m. but there was no guarantee.This is beyond ridiculous for anyone. if you have a large sign promoting Express oil changes then you should have dedicated employees that can strictly handle this and quickly get cars in and out.UPDATE: appreciate the reply, but that confirms you need an appt. So there is no use in having signage promoting Express and fast oil changes. Thanks for replying.
I took my Chrysler here for a safety recall repair. They were friendly and acknowledged me right away. The repairs were done within a few hours. They offered me a ride home while the work was being done but I had a ride already. They offered to wash my car for me. Of course, I said yes. I would recommend this place.

We were in the market for another vehicle. One to commute in and save gas. Noticed that Hilltop Dodge had a Chevy Volt in their lot. So we decided to call the salesman Alberto to let him know our interest in the volt, he quickly told us that he was going to charge for it us for when we come in. The sales process was very smooth. No hassle of going back and forth. Easy to understand each other, no sales pressure from anyone. The whole staff is very wonderful there and very good people. She is a rare jewel! Goes above & beyond for her customers. If a situation occurs you are ALWAYS notified ahead of time for approval; the replacement parts are kept for your viewing and possession if wanted. I NEVER take my jeep anywhere else.
