Came in for a rotate and balance. And it took almost 2 hours. Just to rotate some tires. Redculous. Will not be coming here again. I was the First one through the door when they opened. My car kept moving back and back on the job board. This is unacceptable . I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Overall it was a good experience, expect for the amount of time it took to replace one tire. I feel having to wait two hours to replace one tire should had only took half the amount of time.

I got a bungee strap hook stuck in my brand new tire. I was close so I pulled into Richmond Tire Discounters close to closing time. They were so backed up with orders that they couldnt get to me for a couple hours but they planned on working after hours. No problem. I was just happy I could get it fixed that evening. They didnt charge me anything. I guess it was an easy enough fix and they wanted to make me a new customer. That worked. I have had my doubts in the past, but Ill be going back as a new customer.

They ripped us off just wanted an oil change and said they aligned my car., which it didnt need and after we left it was horrible we had to take it to Toyota to ger it fixed!

Usually great service. This time my appt for basic oil change and tire rotation was at 1 pm. Had to wait until 3:30- 3:45 pm to get it done because of other cars needing extra things done before I got there. Kinda wish there was a way to have some techs work appts and some do walk-ins or the extra work that arises.

My daughter came in to have her brakes checked because they started squealing, so she left the vehicle with them and they said theyd call back after they figure out what needs to be done. They called her and told her that it would cost her just under $800 to have have her front brake pads and rotors replaced. This is also apparently with her military discount. I thought that was rather high, so we took it somewhere else. We were told by the second place that there was absolutely NOTHING wrong with her rotors and when the brake pads start to squeal that way, it is their way of letting us know they should probably be replaced soon. They also showed us so we were able to see that the rotors were FINE. It cost her $145 for the brake pads and that was it. This place is a SCAM. Real nice guys.. trying to take advantage of a college aged military girl.

I had called a few days ago to see if they acceped my Bridgestone Affiliated cc. I was told they did and proceeded to order my tires. Appoint made for Saturday to have them put on. I show up again I double s check just to confirm they took my card and was told No they do not accept it. Very disappointed.

I have been going to TD for years and waited many hours, often with little kids. Today just made me upset. I waited 3 hours for them to tell me the machine for the AC charge is down. They could have told me and I would have gone somewhere else, but they chose to waste my time. No more.Update: They have reached out and resolved the issue. They will be getting the job done. From 2 to 4 stars for customer service, but still long waits. They said make an appt to avoid as much wait as possible.

Cross threaded a lug bolt and torqued down my lug bolts to over 200 lb ft and proceeded to tell me they didnt take my wheels off. This is in addition to being the most overpriced tire shop in all of Madison County.

We have had to go here a few times over the years and they are always welcoming helpful and very good at explaining what needs to happen and helping with financing. They have even stayed open late to be sure everything was correct. I wont go anywhere else for tire or break needs.

We were travelling from South Carolina to Chicago and picked up a bolt that caused a tire to go flat just outside of Richmond. Was able to get to Tire Discounters just before closing time. Didn’t think I would be able to get anything done that day as all the bays were filled. Was very pleased to find out that they would help us out even if they had to stay open past closing. Our service rep, Sean, was great and went well above the call of duty to get us back on the road. Highly recommend them!

We took our car in today due to a nail in the tire- and they patched it which was great. But we also had them to look at a tire that continues to lose air. They offered no explanation and charged us to look at it. We didnt care to pay the amount- thats not the issue. Just to shrug your shoulders and say I dont know is pretty frustrating. My biggest concern is just safety and we want to make sure everything stays OK with our tires.Edit. Management reached out to my husband and helped resolve the issue. We were appreciative of more information and hope to work with tire discounters in the future

I went here yesterday to get my AC checked to see what was wrong with it, and I assumed it would be a lot of money to fix it. I bought AC pro and had my friend try to check it and no one knew was wrong with it. We tried using the AC pro, I didn’t need any. so I took it here because they check ACs for free and I just needed a 25c little fuse that they changed for me for free!! I was super happy. Thankful for them, and highly recommend! Keep in mind, I just moved here for college and this is my first year off away from home, so i’m not exactly sure who to trust with my Jeep or where to go. (my hometown is about 2.5 hours away also) So i’m super happy to have Tire Discounters here in Richmond now!

I have brought my vehicles here for years for oil changes, tires, and various issues. They’re thorough and always do a great job. Sometimes the wait can be a little long but they’re always up front with the time to expect. If they say it’ll be two hours, it’ll be two hours. For me its worth it to wait a bit if I know the quality is there.

3 times now I have shown up for my appointment and have yet to recieve my tires. Twice I was told they would be on the next truck but again I sit without them. I guess ill wait and try one more time.

I have been a customer since 2012 and I love the place, as well as any one can a mechanic shop. I have been building back and upgrading a Jeep TJ and have been in there at least 6 or so times this year for alignments after I upgrade parts or tire balancing when I got new wheels. My buddys that build jeeps enjoy tire discounters as well. The great thing about alignments there is the price is right a they back it for 6 months as long as you dont change any major parts. I have bought tires there and had mechanic work done there, I must say they are great and very knowledgeable.

They said the tires would be in on Wed. They were in on Wed. They said it would take a few hours. Took a few hours. When it comes to something like tires you don’t want complicated. These guys were slammed both times I was in there but didn’t skip a beat. 10ply truck tires are outrageously expensive and difficult to install and I wanted it done right the first time which was the case here. They observed all pandemic rules and were friendly enough . I changed to this place because the location is more convenient and was glad I did.

Very quick considering it was 6:30 pm on Friday evening. Seemed expensive but I suppose you pay for convenience.

I’ve had two negative experiences with this location.The first was when I was having my tires replaced it took an extremely long time, and when I got my truck back the next time I was on the interstate it rattled and shook violently, when I returned with my truck they tired to pass it off as some entirely different problem until I pointed out the truck hadn’t acted like that until I got the new tires from them. After another long wait they finally came out and told me the tire was defective and that it would have to be replaced.This being said I gave them the benefit of the doubt, I returned today after having picked up two nails in my work truck. I don’t have a jack that will lift that truck so I took it back to this location for what I’d hoped would be a quick plug, nearly 4 hours later I finally got to leave with my truck. It will be the last time they receive my business, and if you value your time I’d suggest you look elsewhere for your automotive needs.This is the first time I have ever reviewed a place with one star, so I don’t do it lightly.

Yesterday evening I had some free time after a short day at work. I knew my car was due an oil change. Because of a previous experience I had at Tire Discounters in Richmond, Ky when helping my girlfriend have a flat tire repaired, I chose to give them a call for my oil change. I was treated very nicely over the phone by Danny (I bring this up because I feel like other times I call a auto repair shop they’re annoyed that a customer actually calls). I took my car on in at that point. Once he looked under my hood he found a thing or two that he thought would do my car well (recently passed 100k miles so it’s tine to start getting the extras done). I then asked him to check on the alignment as well. He said he’d check it for free and let me know if it was necessary or not. I also had a nail in my tire that was causing a slow leak and me to have to fill up the tire every other day. He said they’d look at that as well. Well, within 2 hours time I was out of there with a full synthetic oil change, tire rotation and alignment, coolant fluids flushed and filled and a patched tire. I won’t give an exact price but it was more than fair in my opinion and the alignment came with a 1 year warranty. They went over everything in detail with me. Thanks to the guys at Tire Discounters in Richmond KY for courteous and professional work!

Discount Tires did a great job and provided me with great customer service. I was in need of new tires for my wifes Lincoln Navigator. We called and immediately were treated awesome from Shea Smith. Shea was incredibly informative and called me with an update on everything. Highly recommend!

I came into this location to have them look at my brakes and get my oil changed. a week before i had gotten a tire replaced at the one in hamburg where they completed a realignment. after this place looked at my car they said that my break pads and rotors were not fixable and i needed a realignment done (i had just gotten one done not even a week ago). they also told me to fix my brakes it would be over $800. i went and got new break pads and had my dad look at it. my rotor was fine and i spent $57 rather than $800 to fix my break pads. they only want your money here. nothing else.

Had a 10 am appointment and car was pulled in at 11:15. Lesson learned.

Fast, efficient, honest. Came in for a new set of tires, left with them and a replaced valve cover gasket, which i knew was iffy at best. Will visit again for any repairs i cant handle myself.

I got a flat on the way to work. Was able to get a spare on and was afraid that, because we had to order them originally, that there would not be a new tire in stock. I called to confirm. When I got there, the associate drove me to work and then came back to pick me up when my car was done! That alone made my day a little less stressful! I have brought my last 3 vehicles here for tires and various services. Always phenomenal customer service and overall experience. All other locations that I have dealt with have been the same experience. Absolutely recommend.

UPDATE: After driving a couple hundred miles, my family was on the interstate coming out of Cincinnati when my car started to shake and my front left wheel was knocking. Took it to a repair shop to learn that the wheel was not tightened properly and was loose. I do not recommend this location for service of any kind.I was looking for a specific set of Toyo tires for my car, and ultimately, Tire Discounters found them and put them on my car for a very fair price. My service in the shop was not bad, but I question some of their tactics in the quoting and ticket setup process. I chose tire discounters because of the good quote and available discounts on their website. When I called the location in Richmond, my quote over the phone was more than $200 than I received online. As soon as I mentioned the online price, they were able to honor it immediately. I fear they are set up to take advantage of people with as high of a quote as possible, and then will offer the discounts available online only if necessary. (Lesson: if you use them, print your online quote and dont rely on the best deal coming from whomever answers the phone.) Also, if you choose to not have a Free Alignment, you can save $44. If you want to save that money, request the economy installation instead of the standard installation.

Usually these guys are pretty quick, but it was really busy day so it took almost two hours to do an alignment and four tires.

Friendly staff even when they are not treaded with the same courtesy and more than willing to fix anything that even could remotely possibly be their fault! Treating them with reapect will go along way though they still stand tall and proud in the face of disgruntled guest.

I cannot express how grateful I am for doing business with this location. Danny went above and beyond to help my family and I get back on the road to home. There is nothing worse than having misfortune of tire failure on the trip and this store made our misfortune feel minor. There is something to be said about the old school feel of pride and honor in your job and they are both very apparent from the manager to each employee who works there. I will absolutely NOT be going back to Tire Discounters! I came in for a simple flat tire on my 2008 Ford Escape, I quick and simple fix is all I wanted. Instead, Scott, the gigantically, over grown child of a Manager decided to harass me into buying 4 tires instead. My other tires were fine and did not need changing. Instead of helping me with what I needed he wanted to try line his pockets off of the sales commission he was harassing me so much about!!

Went to Tire Discounters in Lexington on Richmond Rd. and had a flat tire repaired. They fixed the flat but forgot to balance the tire. I went in to Tire Discounters in Richmond at Richmond Center and the staff there were very understanding and balanced the tire so it dont wobble any longer, Thank you for the great service. I will buy tires from you in the near future.

We hadnt been to Tire Discounters in a while, but we needed a service on a Saturday afternoon. The personnel at the shop were friendly, they got us in right away (it was a quick fix issue), and took good care of us. I was very pleased with their services.

2.5 hours to replace and balance 4 tires. For a labor markup of triple the cost. Easily worst garage Ive been to. Ever.

If I could give this location more then 5 stars I probably would. I havent had a reason to come here in awhile but Ive always had good visits when I do. Theyre friendly and very helpful and I have noticed they answer all your questions you may have. Some of their services seem pricey but they will do a better job then other places. Their techs are a lot more knowledgeable and helpful then other places too.

Even though I brought my own two mower tires in to be replaced on my existing tire / wheels, I was treated like the most important customer they could have. At the end of the day, they replaced my tires and I left incredibly happy. I’ve always chosen this place for my auto tires and this situation reinforces that decision. Thanks for all your help!

The team here is amazing. They did a great job on my alignment and gave me a good price on tires. Service was very fast, took less than 2 hours. I got 4 new tires and then about a month later I ended up trading in the car. When you buy 4 tires you get a feee alignment & it comes with a 6 month warranty. My new car also needed an alignment & I called not expecting them to still honor the warranty but Scott told me he’d be happy to do it for me. So I got a free alignment on my new car. For them to do this for me really showed how dedicated these guys were and how much they cared about their customers. I will 100% be coming back to Tire Discounters in Richmond in the future when I need new tires. I’m extremely satisfied with the service provided. I definitely recommend!!

After hitting a bookshelf on 75 near exit 90b, I came here and they made a nightmare much more tolerable. The clerk that helped me was very kind, friendly, and sympathetic. They got my tire replaced and my rim fixed in under an hour at a very reasonable price. I hope that if Im ever in a similar situation that any future repair shop is as nice as this one. I bought tires here... twice! Because the price was right. Since then I have come to understand where the price really is- in the time waiting for the services included in the price. I dread having to go to Tire Discounters for common upkeep.However, yesterday was different. I was told the service would take 90 mins. From experience, I doubled that for realitys sake. The guy took my keys, pulled my truck into the bay immediately! And, unbelievably, it was done in an hour.Yall didnt check the spare. Why not? Luckily, I took my truck to another place for an oil change and that guy checked the tire pressure all around, including the spare.While I was there a woman came in with her family. It happened that she was driving on unsafe tires. The clerk at the desk didnt help her to choose the best tire- only told her the price and the mileage rating. Why was the clerk not trained to talk about this? How are regular folks, with regular lives, supposed to know what to look for and how to choose?Service is the thing you are selling (I hope!). Dont blow it. Be outstanding in your field!Keep trying. I may buy the next set of tires from you. But service effectiveness and real life time estimates are a MUST!

Had a tire come apart while on a long road trip. Called several places in the area, and felt like Tire Discounters in Richmond had the best options for us. Location allowed my family and I to wander around the shops in the plaza while they replaced my tire. In fact, I opted for 2 tires (because another one was close to failing), and they did a great job. Wait time was a bit long, as we were on a trip and needing to get on the road, but service was excellent and price was great.

Called to have rear brake pads and rotors changed. Was quoted $135, but after they did the estimate, claimed it would be $301. Waited an hour to hear the amount, and another thirty minutes to get my keys back. Do not recommend. Definitely want to look elsewhere if you’re looking for a decent price for an easy job.

Excellent customer service! Jumped off I75 to get a screw removed from a tire. They were busy so it took 1.5 hrs to fix the tire but was worth the wait. Found a second screw, which saved me a second stop down the road, all at a reasonable price.

I’ve never had a good experience here. Besides their convenient location, there’s nothing good about it. You can not leave the place without them desperately trying to charge you $200 more than the reason you came there. That even includes doing things without your permission and then trying to charge you.

Extra cost was not relayed to me from my original quote. The manager Scott was professional and gave me what I was quoted. It’s tough to get reliable help for an aging car. These guys do good work.
