Its a good store but not a lot of help.I realize Covid has decreased staff but here it needs to have a person who can manage in redistribution of staff for customer control.WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH THE HOLIDAYS COMING UP! THIS CAN EASILY BE RESOLVED....BETTER TRAINING AND EMPLOYEE RELOCATION.

Great place to shop locally for fabrics. They have expansive variety for large or small projects. Very keen availability for seasonal supplies needed for upcoming projects. Staff is very helpful w/questions & pricing concerns. Even though I arrived minutes before closing they were helpful & friendly.

I dont sew but I needed some patches. The friendly staff told me the exact aisle. The price was very low for the assortment I got. Very well run store.

Love going in Joanns fabric store. You can almost fine everything you need to start or complete a project.

Id rate Joanns as the best selection of local fabric since Hancock closed. They have essentials for sewing, crafting, beading, etc..and a good selection of plain cotton (that is hard to find now) tshirts for cheap!

First time Ive ever been to this store. They did have the yarn I was looking for, would definitely consider it more of a specialty shop than Michaels or Hobby Lobby.

Abigail was calm greeting and cutting material, as the line became longer and longer. She was handling the counter by herself while staff was helping others in the store. She also called for assistance as soon as another staff member was free to assist at the cutting counter. Abigail never showed frustration or made comments. Which I have seen happen in other stores. By her being calm, the customers also took the time to see, she was acknowledging there was a wait and she is doing all that was within her control to make this a pleasant shopping experience. Thank you Abigail.

My daughter and I had a fairly good experience. Things were a bit disheveled and not organized well in the section we were looking in. The associate that checked us out, a young-ish blonde haired gentleman, was polite and delightful to deal with. All around good experience.

Disappointing. Their website indicated they had the fabric I was looking for, but they didnt. The casual answer was, oh, they dont update the website. Really? They? Dont you mean we? There was one young lady we talked to at the end of our visit who was nice and helpful. The others, including the manager, were helpless and indifferent. Went on to U-Fab where we found a most pleasant experience.

It was well organized for a craft/fabric store. They did not sell what I needed, but I honestly didnt think they would anyway. My daughter found a lot of fabrics that she liked, so we will be returning to pick up a few!

Usually have great sales and any fabric you need. The lady who usually cuts our fabric is super nice and entertains all conversations my daughter wants to have. That helps because it makes her not hate going for moms shopping :)

Great place for fabric and sewing items. They have a great selection of fabrics. They carry Husqvarna and Singer sewing machines. The staff was very helpful and even though we hadnt purchased the singer sewing machine from Joann Fabrics, the staff was quick to respond to our questions. Lots of various colors of thread too.

Only one clerk for check-out. Button inventory was limited.

This place is a hot mess, but in a good way. They have so many things you may or may not need. Fun to get the wide range of craft things, yarn and fabric you need.

I love this store If you have the app, there are always good coupons (or there are some coupons on their website that anyone can use) to get a good find for cheap. The workers are always helpful, the selection of fabric, tools, decorations, etc. is wide, and I have had no problems when I have needed to exchange something (with receipt). Just got this pretty fabric the other day and made an adorable shirt with it. See you again soon, Joanns!

Stay away from the Pick Up in Store option. I placed an order online for pick up at this location, which has still yet to be fulfilled more than two days later, even with this location operating at its pre-pandemic hours. I ordered one item, and the website showed that multiple of this item were available. I wanted to avoid spending unnecessary time searching inside the store, but now I think I should have just gone there myself. JOANN doesnt have a time guarantee like other stores do, but this is by far the longest Ive ever waited for an order to be ready for pick up. I cant cancel the order myself, and the charge is sitting on my debit card. I will update this review if and when this order becomes fulfilled or cancelled. Next time I will order from Michaels, which has a guaranteed timeline for fulfilling orders and also has a dedicated area for picking up orders instead of making you wait in the checkout line.Edit: I called the store (I had to find the phone number via Google, since the phone number provided in the email from JOANN was not in service...) to get an update and decided to have the associate cancel my order. The associate was very friendly and helpful at least.

Had help that was nice. I forgot my mask because my husband dropped me at the door, bad knee. Saw a clerk she asked if I wanted one and brought it to me. So great, in and out quickly.

I ordered masks online to be picked up at the store. I thought it should be ready at least by the next day but it wasnt. I replied to the confirmation email on the 3rd day and got a reply. They said my order was ready for pick up. So I called the store to confirm and they said that it had not been picked, that they were still working on orders from 2 weeks prior. She also said that the masks were instock so I could come in and get them and then cancel the other order. So after a week I went into the store. Purchased the masks and cancelled my online order. What a total waste of time!

I found Jamaica to be very inconsiderate of a patrons valuable time. She thought that it was okay to have me watch her work while I am waiting for her for assistance and she got an attitude and was arguing with me when I called her on it telling me that other customers are okay with watching her work and that she had to wait for me as I looked for my receipt. Really?!?!I quickly realized that there was no sense in wasting any more of my valuable time or precious breath. I am so annoyed with these customer service employees who do not have a clue of what customer service looks like. I fault the businesses for such negative behavior, which clearly fail to properly train their employees on how to treat their patrons.The manager, Josh, was even more unprofessional and ignored me when I asked for his name. He also stated that if the employee is in the middle of doing something, such as moving fabric around as this Jamaica employee was doing, then she is trained to continue doing what she is doing until she finishes before she provides assistance to a customer as a customer stands there and watches her work. Really?!?!If you do not value your time and wish to be disrespected as a patron where these employees do not recognize that you are a priority and without you they would have no job, by all means patronize this location. Otherwise, I would steer clear of this store, at least until AI takes over and gets rid of all of these ill-trained employees with negative attitudes.

I had a wonderful personal experience at Joann’s on Broad Street I am also so pleased with the amazingly helpful staff. Ann, a knowledgeable artist in the sewing department, patiently demonstrated the most sophisticated sewing machine I have ever witnessed. Ann walked my 11 year old son through the steps of threading the needle in this machine several times over with different thread colors. She explained many more details of this magnificent device as well as invite me back to have a demonstration one on one.When the sewing machine had finished sewing the beautiful coral reef fish pair, Ann gave the sewing 🧵 artwork to my son and suggested how we could present it in our home!!Ann, I want to personally Thank You so much for a surprisingly fun and memorable moment today at Joann’s!

Compared to other Joanns Ive been to, this one was cramped and not as good a selection.

Dont expect just material and related items. They have lots of holiday items around each holiday. Lots of small home decorating items, too (not furniture) . I enjoyed looking around. Maybe not the neatest (tidy) store but they have lots to look at inside.

Nearly EVERY aisle looks like a neglected clearance aisle. Walking in, there were shopping carts parked like the end of a bumper car run, blocking any avenue of entry or exit.

The store is very nicely stocked, the employees are knowledgeable and friendly. I was looking for a particular item but they dont have it here, the employee who was helping me, Leslie, ascertained which store location has it for me. I found some Halloween fleece I wanted, got my yardage cut, paid for and was on my way! Great experience, I will be back!

Went looking for Cricut material. Understandably, pickings were slim.

Needs a better selection of quilting fabrics that coordinate and blender quilting fabrics. They could use nicer stylish fabric for clothing like more knits, silk blends, cotton knits, wool blends. Too much fleece, flannel, and sparkly stuff.

Really good place to satisfy your crafting urges. Ive gotten unique books in here, crates to hold my CDs, and seasonal stuff. Staff is friendly & knowledgeable. An excellent store! Always busy.

Man, hardly any customer service. Be sure to buy extra fabric especially if your project requires accurate squaring up. The wonky way they cut the fabric, lets say you need a yard, you dont get a usable square yard. The way the girl roughly measured out the yardage yesterday, moved it all around before cutting it, I dont (and she certainly didnt) know what she was cutting. After waiting in line forever I was just done. Ill pull it out today and see if I have enough. I actually ordered 1/2 yard over what was needed so hopefully itll work out. Yea, you need to give a little leeway but I feel like 1/2 yard is too much when there are certainly easier ways to measure and cut more accurately (perhaps a little training or common sense by the management would be helpful).

Im in here every week, multiple times a week for work stuff. Love Joanns! Its so hard to not buy everything and and the cute fabrics. Theres always a sale going on too.

Joann fabrics is probably my favorite store but this trip. I was disappointed to find it poorly stocked. It looked like a grocery store when a storm is coming. Not sure whats up with that.

Always enjoy a visit at Joanns. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Willing to answer my questions. I can usually find what I need. Have shopped at Joanns in about 5 different states and they have all been nice to shop in.
