Its fun to shop here and see what things you can find at great prices. Atmosphere is relaxing, I can take my time to decide on things I like. Good selection of used movies as well as the mountains of books. And I love looking at the cute nerd stuff in the gifts area.

Great place to find used books at a great price!

Like Barnes and Nobles but for geeks. Went for the game selection, which wasnt great, but the book and music selection took us by surprise!

Clean, friendly, huge and their selection is inexpensive. Their buying program is very fair. And I always find great (if slightly dirty) stuff in the free bin! This is the only store out there that makes brick and mortar seem preferable to online.

Very friendly and helpful. Took everything that I had and offered either cash or store credit. Thought it was fair. Very clean store, well organized and massive. They had a very wide selection of items.

CROOKS!They buy your items for pennies and sell them for dollars. WECYCLE is for the benefit of their own pocket. The store credit offer barely reaches 10% of what you paid earned money for.They are a prime example of why Jesus said, You have turned it into a den of thieves.

Absolutely amazing, they had dnd front and center, next to a insane lineup of pop figures, and classic video games next to that. Loved this store, will be returning frequently

I absolutely love this store. Its a nerd and pop culture paradise and the kind of place you go to just to go to it. Not knowing you wanted something before you find it here is part of the magic. For example, my daughter is really into mine craft. And there on the shelf was a Minecraft lamp with the Minecraft Bee as the pull chain, the glow block as the lampshad, and the grass block as the base. Its now Pride of place in her bedroom, along with a toy guitar we also got here. All they need is a small coffee shop and you wont ever have to leave.

I love this place! Something for everyone. Books for all ages, games, puzzles, memorabilia, video games, movies and music! Many items are used so the prices are great. My only complaints are they are doing away with old wii games and that things can be a bit hard to find sometimes. (Prepare to browse!)

It’s like a treasure hunt every time you go there. You never know what they’re going to have second hand. The prices are typically very reasonable and when they have sales you can get stuff crazy cheap some times.The staff has always been helpful any time I’ve asked them, and they’re not pushy when you just want to be left alone to browse at your leisure.It’s worth a trip to hit both locations, this one and the other on south side, since the selection of books and games can be very different. Its easy to bring items in to sell for cash or store credit, just be sure to give the staff ample time to get to your submissions. This process can take a little time, but conveniently use your wait time to browse the store! Employees are friendly and the store is easy to navigate.

This store is a new favorite of mine. It has a large selection of books, comic, and movies at reduced prices. It has business, Christian, do it yourself books,fiction, science fiction, among many other subjects. I was amazed when I first walked in. I would definitely go back again. Furthermore, it is hard to miss since it is easy to see from the street.

They sell all kinds of used things, albums, books, comic books, CDs,action figures and music instruments, just to name a few. They sell new retail items too. Great customer service and friendly retail associates. They also buy used items, i.e.:albums, books, comics, CDs,action figures and music instruments,although their buying prices are a bit low,the store credit offered is about twice as much for same items. Store is clean and well stocked for a big box brick and mortar. Parent company is Books a Million.

Sometimes you can find a rare DVD for a good price but mostly they just sell ragged used items for the listed mint price of a new item. They dont know they are a used book and movie store they think they are a collectible store most of their inventory looks worse than a flea market just being honest I go there all the time to pick

This place has it all an dive walked out with stacks of books for less than $30 the last two times Ive gone. I also lose my husband to the instrument and music area so were both happy.

I’m a huge book enthusiast, and recently came out to Richmond area. I LOVE THIS PLACE. It’s such a welcoming atmosphere, everything is labeled, everything is priced just right too. There’s books of all genres for any kind of mood; there’s movies, CDs, comics, anime (both manga books and the dvds and other formats), DVDs, kid section, funko pop section, records section, new pop culture section, everything.I had to limit myself to 5 books but I’m still very pleased I didn’t spend over $25 for ALL these books.Love it. If you’re a book goo-roo, or any kinda goo-roo really this is the place to be for sure.

Love this store. I can spend hours in it just looking around. It has everything. Not just books, but also records, toys, and bluetooth devices. Kids section is amazingly easy to navigate as well. Has something for everyone. Very affordable prices. If you havent checked it out yet you definitely should.

Alot of gems in this store I love it.

They have some very cool stuff. Games, books, comics, magic, DnD stuff, video games, DVDs, etc. The prices are average though. Its not like going to a thrift store and paying a few bucks for a good find. This place is only for desirable items at average prices.

Sells same branded stuff as other retailers especially dwk items you can find cheaper at a truck stop.. and truck stops are always higher. Nothing special or spectacular. I found a tie advanced at chester hobby shop.. thats special.Over priced and limited special needs. Better off shopping at amazon.

Giant selection of books. It is like walking in heaven.

Unorganized and uninformed staff! Called in yesterday to see what time they opened and to be sure they would accept 15 boxes of books! Was told by a staff member that they opened at 9am. Drove across town to be greeted by a staff member waiting for the store to open at 9am. (He too thought they opened at 9:00am and had arrived for his shift.... When the staff member called the store manager to see where he was the manager told him he would be there between 5-30 minutes... when he arrived he was very unaccommodating and said they wouldn’t open until 11 today! And that 9:00 was holiday hours.... that started today.... I would recommend taking your business elsewhere with such poor management.

This is a great place to visit and spend a few hours. You can lose yourself walking in all of the sections. The highlight of the trip was the detailed organization of the DVD section; it is very helpful to find a variety of used DVDs. The Lego per ounce table was also great for a little child. Thanks again for a few free books and in the bin in the front of the store.

Absolutely love this store. Yes, some items are overpriced but the atmosphere and customer service cant be beat. You can also use coupon codes to help ease the prices a bit. Ive never walked in and not walked out without something because its so hard to resist! I especially love finding used action figures, Funko Pop, and books in here.

And since its a consignment store they are at much lower prices than anywhere else. Youve gotta check them out!

I just had a really unpleasant customer service experience with this place. They wouldn’t honor a valid gift card for us today because of their policy. They were snide about it. Definitely won’t shop here again.

This store is truly amazing. Its my zen place, lol. Whatever you want, as far as entertainment goes, they have it. Movies (DVD & Blu Ray), music (cds and vinyl), video games (all consoles are covered), and books. New and used. Also has a variety of board games, puzzles, and card games. Tons of pop culture memorabilia can be found around the store as well. Just an awesome place.

They have a lot of cool stuff, used and new, used stuff usually in good condition. They usually have free or super cheap books etc out front. I cant help but leave with books on every different topic. Prices usually good/moderate, can be variable depending on what the items are and when they became part of inventory. I dont typically have much interaction with staff, usually just at checkout, and theyre usually friendly enough. Nobody hounds you while youre looking around.

2nd & Charles is one of my favorite places to shop, and I end up going at least once a month for little gifts for my friends or movies when I feel like I need more.The staff here is always super friendly and they are always helpful. I have always liked the cleanliness and the setup of the store.They have a free bin outside that’s always fun to look through to find anything that might stick out. Definitely worth the stop for all things movies, cds, records, and of course, books. I have found so many fun things for friends like Super Mario, Disney, Sonic, and others.
