We used Better Floors to sand and coat oak floors (that never saw the light of day as they were covered by carpet for over 60 years) and they did a great job. Kevin, the installer, was friendly, polite and answered any questions. The finished product looks beautiful and we would certainly recommend Better Floors.

They were eager to gain the new business from me but since then the sense of urgency is no longer there. They did not pay attention to the details of the project and gave me the wrong threshold (though it had been described to them). After telling them about the issue and a promise they would call the warehouse and get a correct one brought in that has never occurred as of yet (two weeks later - 6/2/21). I had to call three times to get someone to follow through on the warehouse call and get back to me. Now after all that I get the pleasure of paying an additional $49.99 for the threshold. I will admit they have said they will credit the first $10.00 for the incorrect piece of flat wood. Honestly, not sure that my money was well spent for my benefit.

I had vinyl flooring and tile installed in my home and Better Floors did a great job. I liked that they didnt race through the installation. They took their time to make sure it was done right. They also checked with me to be sure I was happy with the installation as it was happening. Very customer oriented. Working with the sales people to pick out the vinyl and tile was also an enjoyable experience. Overall, the experience of upgrading the flooring in our house was a good one.

The staff at Better Floors in Belgrade is quick to offer help, aware of their products & likeable. Deborah explained the product line I was interested in. Taking the tile selection home is so important for lighting & proper selection. The cost is high per tile but perhaps their install is excellent & reasonable. Im debating installing hard wood in the kitchen rather than 15 inch tiles. Visit. The location is easily accessible & across from several nice lunch shops, Bell Greek being a favorite.

I had a great experience with Better Floors for an upstairs wall to wall carpet install.Tracey helped me find a carpet that was totally stain resistant.If liquid is spilled or your dog has an accident the fiber doesn’t absorb the liquid.The company was timely and courteous and did a very professional job for me.

After tearing up my kitchen floor and seeing some of the subfloor needed to be repaired I decided it was above my head to fix. I contacted Better Floors and the initial customer service was very helpful and responsive. A few weeks later we had picked out a glue down laminate tile for the kitchen floor. The install went smoothly, unfortunately this is the end of the positives.After the installers had left I went under the house to rerun the dryer hose. I found that the installer had put a nail through the water pipe that runs to the washer hook up and there was water steadily running into the crawl space. They had a plumber come out to fix the leak the next morning who had to cut a large hole in my wall to fix the pipe. I was never contacted by anyone at Better Floors about fixing the hole and instead I had to call them nearly every day for 2 weeks to ask when someone would be out to fix it. Over these two weeks I was repeatedly told someone would call me back. I received zero call backs from Better Floors. I finally told them I would be coming to the store to see someone face to face, and once again they took my information and told me someone would be calling me back.I did finally get a call back, but from the contractor they gave my number too. No-one from Better Floors EVER called me back at any point during all of this. The contractor came out within a few days and fixed the wall. I then had to call Better Floors once again to get the molding and quarter round reinstalled from where the wall was torn up. This only took 3 calls, once again with no call backs, to accomplish. Two weeks later someone came back out and reinstalled these items as well as fix a tile that had already come unglued.Now about a month later I have multiple tiles coming unglued, a transition plate that has come loose, and the floor in the laundry area (where the water leak was) has bowed drastically. Had I known the $3,000 I spent would get me this I would never have spent it.

Customer experience was good but installation was terrible! The folks had to come back to my house 3 times to re-do the carpet install. I love the carpet but still see the complete mess and banged up shoe molding. I would NOT recommend Better Floors to anyone!

Great sales staff, great prices and great installers, every one knows their stuff and are very helpful and pleasant to deal with. I bought this house one year ago and it had ugly carpet and nasty, nasty peel and stick vinyl, Better Floors has completely transformed my home with hardwoods and luxury vinyl, very happy with the results.

Better Floors recently helped us tackle a repair to our bamboo flooring at a cafe. The floor had been wet, and damaged, and needed to be replaced. Unfortunately, what we thought was a simple job turned into a complex one, when we realized that the subfloor was damaged along with the bamboo. Rob and his crew worked to remove the damaged flooring, removed some of the subfloor, got the concrete re-poured with self leveling concrete, and then installed brand new bamboo flooring. The project was complicated, and on top of that, it was Christmas eve. But Robs crew kept working until the job was done, and were diligent about their progress. Bamboo is extremely hard wood, and can be difficult to work with, but Robs crew stayed professional, and they took a lot of pride in the work they did. The floor was not a perfect match, but their work to feather in the lighter boards was appreciated, and ultimately the floor really does look great. Hopefully we wont need to fix the floor again, but if we did, i would count on the Better Floors team to get the job done.

Salesman promised one thing and when the repair men came they did not want to scrape the floor and leave the dust under the carpet. When I spoke to the Manager that came to pick up the balance of the money. He told me a different story, that we needed to pay more for that service. I was not happy with his answer. .Not too happy with their promises.
