We built a new home in a different style than our previous home; transitional vs farmhouse, fully open floor plan, miles of hardwood. With 3 dogs, I certainly wasnt spending for fine wool or silk in every area.The two salespersons I worked with at Capel Richmond were stellar. They spent hours with me trying on different rug styles and colors against photos of my furniture. They brought down anything I asked to see without hesitation. They guided me to options that work for us without feeling pushy or managed. They helped me mimic more high style expensive looks with dog-friendly materials.The showroom is neat and organized, and large enough to get a sense of the carpets. While the on hand selection is a little limited, they represent everything available on the website very well. You can easily view a style or manufacturer in one size and order the other. One purchase was not in stock took 6 days or get to the store. Who orders an item and gets it in under a week these days?Sales is a craft, as is design, and the staff at Capel do both well.The rug in every room is absolutely what I wanted. Zero compromise. Good Job, Capel, well be back.

I have been in the market to replacement a rug. I went Capel about two weeks ago and found one that I really like. Shopped around for other options and to no avail. Well today, Saturday I went back to Capel Rugs and made my purchase of the rug and a table. Mckenzie the sales rep was aware of my presence and respected my space and time to make my decision. The young man who took care of putting the rug and table in my vehicle showed responsibility to see that it was done in a manner not to do any damage. My experience today was excellent. The customer service at Capel Rugs is top notch! Both Becky and McKenzie at the Richmond store went above and beyond to help me find a rug for my dining room. Even the employees who move and prep the rugs were meticulous with what they did. Tavian, who helped with my rug was very friendly and took great care while loading it into my car. Love Capel Rugs! They offer high quality furnishings for a great price - and they stand behind their products! Shopping in the store is always a great experience...everything is organized and I always look forward to their changing displays. The salespeople are helpful, but also let you look around and browse at your leisure. Most recently I purchased a bookcase, dresser and rug for my new home. A few items had to be ordered, but everything arrived to the store quickly and upon pick-up were wrapped up securely. All look great in my house! Ill definitely be back soon!

We recently purchased a console for our family room. When I arrived to pick it up, it wasnt acceptable for them to just help me place it on my trailer; the manager had the assistants wrap it in plastic wrapping, then cover the console with blankets, followed by bubble wrap and more plastic wrapping.I am VERY impressed with Capels customer service; its world class!
