This is the worst family dollar. Thats in the city of Richmond. I hate going in there. They never have nothing. They always closed like now its 7:30 p.m. and their closed. They rip off the customers. Always screaming their short on change. But that is a lie. Cause any establishment dealing with cash. Has to go to the bank in order to get bills. And they have to make deposits somewhere. Its never nobody at the register. You gotta look for someone everytime. The customer service is awful. The only nice night staff. Are the young lady Katelyn and the young white guy when I come in. They just need to shut the entire location down. Its not even worth going in there. Everytime someone says, lets go to that store. I say no we going somewhere else. It doesnt even deserve one star period......

It was so dirty & u organized I couldnt find anything I needed. I got frustrated & left.

They never have anything in the store supplies set that are delivered sets on the floor in the boxes for weeks at a time the shelves are always empty the next I in there will take a picture

The store had everything I needed and was not crowded, cashier was pleasant also.

Not sure what is going on but they close at unpredictable times. Plan on getting there 15 minutes prior to the posted closing time because they lock up early. I asked them about this and they said that corporate calls and tells them when to close.

It was my F.D. while I attended VCU. It has become cleaner and has way more variety than I remember. Great job Family Dollar

THEY ARE NOT TAKING COVID 19 SERIOUSLY! The store is grotesque, always stocked full of boxes blocking the items in the isles, unorganized shelves, dirty floors, etc, But worst of all its the one worker that goes by the name kate or Katelyn? Im unsure, however shes the only pale blonde girl working there and everytime I go to shop she has her mask on her chin. I even went out of my way to comment on it, to which she replied were not forced to wear it. Its not really mandatory anymore We are in a pandemic whether you want to believe it or not. Have some respect towards your coworkers/ every single customer that walks in and pull up your damn mask while youre on the clock! The manager(s) need to enforce the mask rule

I am new to the area so I was excited to see a family dollar so close to my new house but every time I have went in this store the staff is not people friendly, I have to wait over 5 minutes for someone to come to the counter and the store is ALWAYS a mess a box dropped on my arm walking through the aisle. I was not hurt but it goes to my point that store needs to be cleaned. It may take me a little longer to drive but I think its rime to go back to dollar general where the staff is nice and friendly and the store is safe.

Im a frequent shopper there and the customer service there is great. No pun intended but the employees there makeyou feel like family. Very welcoming with a good sense of cummunity. The manager, Willie, hes good at what he does. Great guy. And the cashier, Drea, always has a great smile and energetic personality. Theres one woman there who always seems very negative and uninviting to customers. Not good with people Great great place overall.

Sometimes, its the fun crowd; singing and talkative, genuine. The next day will be... Yikes.. Grouchy, desensitized persons that might as well not be there. Its a store. Buy some clutter if you want it. Its next to an ABC store so its good for mixers and bread on the way home.

I always find what Im looking for.But if they dont have, youll be notified when itll be in. They really do have a wide variety of items in the stores.

Store was kind of hard to navigate because inventory was in the way. The gentlemen that was working was very pleasant and helpful. Overall it was great!!!👍

I went in to visit and the store looked one hundred percent better I asked was there a new manager and the guy Willy raised his hand and say he was the manager and I told him that I have been in the store about five months ago and the store was filthy and that he is doing a wonderful job

This place has change. Picked up a can of cat food it had rat dropping on it the only good thing about this place is the young lady DreaUpdates 11/14/20 looking better but still have stock Boxes in the Isles and not put up and half the time in the freezer is halfway and empty missing it manager from a while back Sharon that plays would have been really really tight by now she kept that place nice Sharon Sharon come back girl Family Dollar need you

Give this star bc of their policy. I bought 4 curtains at $12.50 each b/c I was changing my décor. I missed placed my receipt and can not even get a GIFT CARD! granted I understand that not having a receipt means you forfeit cash back, but my God, why must you have an attitude about giving my a gift card, like the money is still going to be spent back in the store. Like, I am trying to find a corporate number to file a complaint. Does anyone know any of the Family Dollar Stores corporate number? b/c I have been to many.
