Went here for brunch/ lunch on Sunday around 12PM. Didn’t know it was going to be so popular. Masks are required to get in and when you move around, but it’s fine to remove when you’re sitting and eating at the table. It’s a cafe yet their portions are the size of restaurants. We got four different sandwiches/ entrees. Their drinks came out first. Chai latte was good but had a lot of ice; purple lavender had a unique taste and color. The wait time for the food took a while with all of the people there and probably because we ordered multiple items. We drank some of our drinks while waiting and had some Nightingale ice cream. My favorite food was the salmon bagel and the diced watermelon. The egg wrap was ok but tasted a bit dry and overly crispy. Didn’t have enough stomach room to try the other two sandwiches, so we took them to go in a box.

Visiting the area a happened upon this hem. Small Cafe with sandwiches and sweets. Plenty of room inside and observed great cleaning after customers left their table. Food was delicious. I had the sandwich called Kinda Cuban. They used pulled pork instead of sliced. Really tasty. Would love to go back on my next visit to the area.

The coffee is great. Service is great. Food is usually pretty good, though their banh mi is terrible - its basically a flavorless chicken salad on bread, which is nowhere close to what a banh mi should be. The prices are about 15 to 20% higher than they should be considering the quality and taste of the food.

This is my go-to curbside coffee place during COVID (although I loved dining inside pre-pandemic too). The online ordering and pickup process are efficient and safe. I also love that there is both a parking lot and ample street parking. They have delicious breakfast foods and healthy, tasty lunch options, too! I enjoy their caramel latte and seasonal lattes— have never had a bad coffee in my year of patronage! Such great food, drinks, and customer service.

I love this little cafe! They have a great order outside set-up during COVID and I greatly appreciated not having to go inside to order. I found this place on a whim while looking for a local coffee shop and I am so glad I did!The vegetarian egg and cheese biscuit was SO good. It was made from scratch. I wish I had ordered more of them to take home with me! The iced matcha latte was also good. Also, the neighborhood strongly resembles Nob Hill in Portland, OR. If you are familiar with that area, you will find this cafe and neighborhood to be somewhat nostalgic. Like, its almost a spitting image of Nob Hill.

Was excited to try to Stir Crazy instead of my frequent Starbucks in my neighborhood. I felt as if me ordering was a chore for the associate that took my order over the phone. Not very welcoming. Then to top it off, she asks for a tip, over the phone. I’m not sure if that is common practice for this business, but for me it’s tacky and awkward to ask someone for a tip. I’d like the option to give a tip, not to feel forced or to be put in an awkward situation to respond with a yes or no. Not the best experience. My first and last time trying this place.

First things first: great, artfully presented coffee. At the time of this review they are using counter culture coffee which is consistently good. Wonderful biscuits like they only do in the south! The space has what Im starting to understand as the Richmond style; a little punk, a little colonial, and a lot of reusing of old comfy chairs, tables, decorations and whole buildings. The place can get really loud when it is busy, which is super fun if you are a part of what is making it loud. If you are looking for solace you can get it here too, just go when it isnt really busy; it seems like the weekend brunch crowd is the most boisterous.

This is a great little half hipster, half neighborhood locals coffee shop. They have an extensive food menu for breakfast and lunch; so far everything Ive tried has been really good. I usually get vanilla lattes, which they do well here, but they also have drip coffee, cold brew, and lots of teas. If you want high level bougie coffee/lattes, maybe head somewhere else, but for 95% of people, Stir Crazy will be just right.

Beautiful ambiance and super short walking distance from the Indigo hotel where we were staying. I got the Rishi black iced tea the first day which was fine. Drip coffee was delicious, as per hubby. The next day, I ordered the largest hot tea “for here” and as I went to check on it, the girl poured out the tea to fill up, gosh, maybe 4/5 or ¾ of the tiny pitcher ... so I asked her to please fill it up, and she gave me an attitude. Ok young kids! The customer is your patron. The tea which was some black tea was delicious but I didn’t exactly feel the love. For the record, whenever I have requested that they fill up the tea pitcher or glass or steeping mug, they’ve obliged. Anyway. Potential for a 5-star if they ditch the attitude.

My breakfast sandwich took a little extra long to make this morning, so while I was waiting, the barista offered me a scone on the house for the delay. While a quaint, and aesthetically pleasing spot, both the coffee and food leave more to be desired. This was my second time visiting. Hoping the first time was a fluke, I decided to try again. The first time, the matcha latte was barely warm, and not blended correctly with large, chunky matcha bits left in the bottom of the cup. The American wrap looked like a McDonald’s burrito, and did not taste much better. On my second visit, the black coffee was watery, reminiscent of instant coffee made at home. The bagel looked sloppily thrown together, like something of a microwaved breakfast bagel from a convenience store. Unless you’re a fan of bland food, weak coffee, and high prices for a mediocre experience, go somewhere else.
