I went in to pick up a few things up for my wedding (my first time going to this location). All I really needed was a match up for foundation and concealer but ended up leaving with a full bag. A lady named Shannon helped me and she was absolutely fantastic. I appreciated that she was honest with me and didnt try to push any product that I didnt need. If I hadnt already hired someone to do my hair/makeup I would of booked her for it right then and there because how well she did. I never wear lipstick (generally just lipgloss) but her and another employee picked out a shade for me that I ended up falling in love with. Even though I wasnt 100% sold on it at the moment she told me to keep it on for the day and if it felt right and I was comfortable with it I could just come back in. I did just that a few days later and made sure the commission was credited to her. The other ladies were just as nice and talked with me as well. They all congratulated me and gave me a ton of best wishes. I will never step foot back into Ulta again. After 15 years of being in the service industry myself I must say these ladies killed it with my guest experience.Thanks!!!!

I stopped in to grab some foundation and this counter was pretty busy, with 2 ladies ahead of me. 1 lady was in the chair getting matched while the other was trying on lipsticks. There was only one woman working (which I admit is a bit strange for a busy Saturday afternoon but thats definitely no fault of hers), and I thought she was doing a pretty good job trying to multi-task. When another guest knew exactly what she needed and simply needed to be rung up, the lady in her chair began yelling about how she was there first. The young lady calmly explained that she was the only one working and apologized profusely while this lady went into full blown freak out mode yelling for a manager. Then when the manager comes out she proceeds to tell her how the employee gave her all this attitude. I just wanted to commend the employee (I think her name is Jasmine...thats the name on my receipt) on how she handled that whole situation. Id love to give more stars, however that situation might have been avoided had the counter been staffed more appropriately.

I ordered some cosmetics online and it was showing free delivery 3-5 days, I choose free delivery option and placed the order. I got email from MAC Cosmetics that my order has been canceled. I called them on customer service number to know the reason behind the cancellation, they said that it got canceled because the billing address was not matching the address I gave them as billing address, I reconfirmed the address on call and the address given by me was absolutely correct. They person call was so rude that when I told her that I should have been informed the address given by me was incorrect (Though it was correct), She disconnected the call.I wanted to send these cosmetics to my cousin in my home country as one of my friend was travelling to that country, I placed order again and this time I preferred overnight shipping for which I paid $10 extra, I did not receive any confirmation email from MAC that my order is being processed, Since I got order no after placing order I called customer service department next day to know the status of my order, they said that I placed order after 3.00 PM EST hence they could not process it on overnight basis and the product will be delivered day after tomorrow. When I checked my records I realized that I placed order by 2.20 PM, I again called them to let them know that I ordered on 2.20 PM EST and not after 3.00 PM EST so it should qualify for overnight shipping, the lady on call was speechless and she just apologized for what has happened and promised me that she will get that delivered at least in coupleof days. again there was no email or SMS in 2 days and I received an email on 3rd day that my order was again canceled and they said they dont know the reason.This is very very unprofessional and pathetic. I would not recommend MAC COSMETICS online purchase as it is very disappointing.
I went into the cosmetics store today to purchase lip glass, (I normally go to regency, but they are closed), I waited around for 10 minutes and no one even acknowledged me at all they just walked and talked around me like I wasnt there. Finally someone said I will be with you in a moment (I think she was talking to me, but she never made eye contact so who knows) I then waited around for another 20 minutes with the color I wanted in my hand, ready to leave until my husband came over and interupted the cashier and she very rudely rang me up. I heard rumors about nordstroms and sadly I must say it is very true. I was very disappointed in how I was treated and will purchase my mac online from now on.
