The staff is very nice and helpful! Being located on JD that is really saying something. None of the other stores or food places in this run down area have employees that even acknowledge you are present in the establishment.This store is always clean and nicely organized. Good job Pleasants!

When this was ACE hardware it was a much better store I come there to buy the sealer I normally spend around a thousand to $1,500 when I come there they took the points away for us that actually spend the money there that really keep the store going to pays all the employees salaries them are the words out of the presidents mouth Ace always valued us as customers these people do not you can barely get a kind word out of there is like two people that was there from years ago Diane is one of them very nice lady! But most everyone of them does not know how to deal with the public I hope the corporate office decides to take a look at some of this and they think about how theyre running that store down there

We were going here for location and fair prices. After the last two visits we have decided to go elsewhere and purchase items we need. The visit two weeks ago I walked in and asked a sales associate for help with a certain product and was told maybe my husband should have came in and gotten the product,then tonight when we both came in we asked about two products and the same guy points to the pull start cords and says there they are,sorry not even close to a belt for a riding mower we wont be back so ride

They try to help. Friendly. Prices sometimes reflect sales offered to members. Called n price given was not offered once arrived because I wasnt a member. Takes a few days to enroll n sent home to fill out n apply at my leisure.Thats some crazy service... Here Im trying to offer some sales to the smaller local stores n it lost its home town feeling for me.But Ill return another day. I want them to succeed! We need these places too.

Im giving them a 5 for the stellar service I received from whiteguy with painted finger nails- I only needed a key but he was so helpful an polite and knowledgeable about the store...Definitely a little surreal experience, but I guess thats 2021.

I can always get what I need here with great prices and with the quantity I need without unnecessary extras.

I was very blessed to find the plants on sale, $0.99 for a tray of 4 veggies, hanging plants at $7.99 from original of $12.99, the pots also were still at last year prices, I spend about $175.00 and I got a lot of plants that made me so happy. I am broke, but many times I got broke also and I have nothing to show for it, this time I will see my money growing, flowering and giving me fruits.

Website claims this location cut car keys and sharpen knives but the won’t touch an aftermarket key because and I quote the staff here “we don’t want to have to be responsible if we mess up your keys” what does that have to do with anything? I don’t know and I don’t care but seriously😐 and about the knife sharpening they said “we don’t do it at this location”😐😐😐

Small place compared to the big box stores, but the staff was mostly friendly. The cashier could have been friendlier, but I got what I came for and I was in and out in a flash. All in all, it was an ok experience.

Its great to know I will have one close by for projects when I move. I believe ERE was my cashier / helper, pretty cool guy and I can tell hes learning the trade very well. Keep him around! Thanks for a great experience I will totally come back.(Side note, my current project was a new aerator, they had just the right fit!)

I had 2 buy a lawnmower here for the Boss. A young dude working here would Not let me use the restroom, and didnt help me put the push mower in the trunk of the car. Young One is Not Public Friendly. I dont want to give them My own Business...

I cant help it. None of these locations will replace the knowledge, customer service, inventory of the Broad Street locations industrial department. I have been to almost all of what I call satellite location and none compare. Please bring back the the real Pleasant Hardware and the pleasure of finding the hard to find hardware items with real people and not on line shopping.

In general Pleasants is OK, this time they didnt have what I needed, but that is the exception not the rule....

The moment I walked in the door I was asked if I needed help. I just needed to keys made up for the house, and have them done within 10 minutes and I was out of the door wishing everyone to have a good day. if I need anything in the future from a hardware store I will most definitely go back. Pleasants used to be the go to place in Richmond. Then they came up with the brilliant idea of closing their big, old, main store and going with little, over priced, trendy, satellite stores. They tend to have less and less each time i go there but their prices keep going up and up. They are now the last place i look for hardware.

These folks are so helpful when you need a unique screw. 1/4 inch long, threads, gets one in an instant.

This store has good Customer service attitude. Female employee was concerned about my wait time and radioed for help at service desk as she dealt with a customer in front of her while another customer and myself waited in line She displayed genuine concern...

This used to be my go to store for maintenance parts for my oil home heating furnace, however, now the parts department inventory for oil furnaces has been greatly reduced. I suppose, once again, the internet has proven superior for reliable sourcing.

About 30 mins ago I asked the cashier for help finding something in the elctrelect ill who said it should be over there then I asked if he could call me some help on his radio thinking maybe he could not leave register when he did they replied on radio it should be over on this Ill somewhere I told the man at the register that I would take my money an the company I own else where and customer service is why this place is a joke and to think I was willing to forgo the slightly higher prices so I guess thank you for reminding me where I was an me not making the mistake of sending my company to support yall
