We just went to this store for the first time today and what a trip down memory lane. Theyve got sandwichs, chips, soda pop, and treats for days.. If youve got a few minutes head out of town and find this hidden gem. I grew up in Eastern KY and remember so many small stores like it. I will share this place in my conversations during my travels for sure!

Great place for a sandwich served by wonderful people. Would be 5 stars but road construction makes this incredibly hard to get to from north of Richmond. Once it is fixed, we will be back!

Mom, my sister and I went to Newby Store today. This is a go to destination. Such a quaint place and the friendliest people you will never see in a box store. Being there today brought memories of younger times. Miss those days. Nothing else like it! ❤Karen Sallee Wheeler.

Great people and has the old country store feel. Everyone is friendly. A ton of candy and snacks to pick from. Sodas too. Elk, venison, or both are available as summer sausage. They have gas and diesel pumps and are on occasion cheaper than mijers. A porch to sit and chat. A view to take in. Not too far from silver creek, where you can go kayaking, canoeing, fishing, or swimming during the wet months. You will want 4 wheel drive if you go past the store to silver creek (unimproved roads). Easiest way if you dont have a truck or 4x4 drive is to go out jolly ridge rd and then continue straight at the fork down mule shed ln.

Good cold cut sandwiches. A nice little Quick Stop store selection, as well as some local products. The customer service was amazing. Very friendly, nice people.
