Still rating 5 stars because I love the store and it is locally owned. Communication with equipment orders has gone downhill, probably will stick with bishops from now on for big stuff. Love their store for everything else though!

I love this Ace. Everybody that works here is friendly and helpful. It seems like a little old hardware store, not a big chain store. I hope this place doesnt close anytime soon.

I love this store. Been going there for years. Employees are always helpful and very knowledgeable. If they do not have it they will let you know who may. Locally owned and you can tell. Had my first encounter with management today and they went out of their way to make sure i was satisfied. Always my go to place.

Went on 3/30 to purchase a big green egg smoker/grill. They had a great selection of grills and accessories however no one was working up front in the area. Needless to say I drove a hour to this store and left without a grill. I would suggest they need to staff appropriately or train their associates that customers are there to spend money and they need to assist them.

Ive always loved Ace, ever since I was a kid I can remember making trips there. Any home improvement project, do it yourself, or needing any sort of new tools Ace is the place. One of my favorite things theres always been their great selection of knives they have, they have one of the biggest collection of high end knives in town. Also you can always count on getting some very friendly service from their employees. Bottom line is if youve never been its worth checking it out.

The guy in there went out of his way to help me. Doesnt happen much anymore.

Wonderful place super friendly and helpful

I had to rent a rug doctor due to the fact our rental house was pretty gross. Not something you should have to do after your 2nd day on moving in. I had just had gotten my cast off as well from shoulder surgery. I was super worried about how I was going to even get this in my car! The staff was really great. I had help getting it in and out of my car, they answered all my questions I had at this stressful time. When I came to drop it back off they helped me unload it as well! I was really thankful! The machine is really heavy and renting it was NOT something I wanted to even do or should have had to. Thanks to the helpful staff they made this project go so much smoother! They are always helping my husband with tasks around the house. Thats why I went there and not the big box stores.

Not enough employees. Years ago u could not walk in the store without someone asking if they could help. Today I had two assoc walk pass without even acknowledgeing me.

Ace Hardware feels like a locally owned hardware store. The employees are so personable, smart and very helpful. The service department is top notch. They have almost anything hardware related and if they dont in store they will go an extra mile to try and get what you need.

An item I was looking for wasnt available in store (available only online for store pickup), but one of the associate was available immediately to help me search. He was caring and friendly.

Doing a quick home project, fixing the mower, need some screws, tools, etc... this is my quick stop shop for most DIY projects. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Manager is rude and they dont hold up to their word. Took glass in to be repaired and the frame sat in back for 3 weeks not touche after being told they lost my frame.

They have so many things I had never even heard of before. The first time I walked in I didnt even know what to ask for, but the employee was so incredibly friendly and helpful. I walked in thinking I would have to hire a roofer, and walked out with a $20 can of goop and detailed instructions on how to do it. Not a leak since! Whenever I can, I shop there rather than Lowes - especially since they now carry some Grommet products!

They pretty much have everything Lowes has and a few things Lowes doesnt have.

Friendly and helpful staff with plenty of products available. Pricing is average and they offer a rewards program that will provide discounts. My favorite thing about this location is that they sell Big Green Eggs (grills). If you havent checked out a BGE, you should visit this store and buy one! They carry everything else like tools, hardware, paints, and about anything you could need.

Love this place! It has items you wont find at other stores and they always try to carry the best of the best. Like everyone has said, their service is impeccable! Ive driven from Lexington many times to shop at this ACE Hardware!

I called and visited on January 12, 2019. I first called to ask if they cut sidewinder flip keys for late model Chevy vehicles. I explained to Marty, who is a manager, that I had two blanks I had purchased online and needed cut. I explained that my car is equipped with on-board programming for keys, I simply needed them cut. Marty told me it would be no problem and to ask for him when I arrived. I made the 30 minute drive to the store. I went directly to the key counter and rang the bell. Marty came to the counter and I explained I had just spoke to him about key cutting. I handed him the key and the 2 blanks. He said, I cant cut these, you bought these online and Ive got a $800 bit in the cutter...these will tear up the bit. He then said they do sell the keys. What kind of $800 bit cant cut cheap Chinese metal keys? Why didnt you tell me that on the phone?

Friendly folks, and have everything we needed to complete an odd project!

Found they have best prices on chip keys and key fobs. However, they did not have in stock and had to order. Only 1 or 2 employees can program the keys and never seem to be there when we come in. Need to train others to program keys and fobs please.

Very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly people. They are there asking you if you need help finding what youre looking for, no chasing them. Most of the time at other stores, I finally give up trying to find help and leave.

This place is great. It doesnt matter what you need,. Theyll easily take care of you. Very friendly,.competent staff thats also knowledgeable and eager to assist you in any way they can.

Best hardware store around always helpful

I like this place because it is staffed with friendly people, has some local food you can purchase, and is laid out in a way where things are easy to find. I much prefer this place to Lowes.

I like the local hardware stores over the big box stores any chance it makes sense to use them, the staff knowledge is far superior and customer service is next level.

I have gone to Ace for years to avoid the big box stores. Today I tried to return a breaker with the receipt that my wife had bought and they would not return it because I did not have her debit card. Foolish policies like this drive loyal customers away. I have spent thousands of dollars at Ace, if I were them I would have just handed me the $11 and told me to keep the breaker, it would have benefited them in the long run.

If you ever need stove liners they have them at the best prices,also they are friendly,and helpful

Almost always someone waiting on you to walk in so they can help you find exactly what you are needing really quick, and almost always knows what they are talking about!

I recently moved to Berea; have gone in Ace Hardware three times, and all three times Ive received great help, even though twice it was pretty technical. Im glad to have them so nearby.

Called this store at 4:50 PM on 1/21 to ask about availability of snow shovels. Over the phone, sales associate told me that truck would be delivering them at 7:00 PM. I asked what time they closed, she said 7:30. She never mentioned anything about a waiting list. I drove 35 minutes, arrived at the store at 6:40 PM, and was not allowed to purchase a shovel. Young lady at the register told me there was a line around the store at 3:00 PM and they had to start a waiting list to get people to leave. Why wasnt I told about this list when I called?

Long wait for assistance. Younger assistant made Many requests for help for me in the area I needed. When someone finally showed I was told they might be able to order the piece I needed without looking in the store computer for in store items. Fortunately this has been the Only Ace Hardware store I have ever recived this poor subpar service. I do commend the young man who made multiple efforts to obtain the assistance I needed.

No one greeted us no one asked if I needed anything and I was looking for an actual item I needed for a shelf. I’ve never been in an Ace Hardware with bad service until today !

I have been going to ACE for the 50 years. If you need a watchamaccal, they have it and will take you to where it is. You can’t miss it.
