Outstanding repairs and customer service on my Cub Cadet riding mower; Ill do business with Capital Repair Services again. This shop did everything right....someone always answered the phone, returned phone calls and was helpful and courteous. My riding lawnmower was repaired within the time frame promised, was repaired correctly and the cost was reasonable. They also washed the inside and outside of my mower and gauged up the tire pressured at no charge. They picked up my broken mower and delivered my repaired mower in clean, repaired original condition. No one enjoys paying repair bills, but what a relief it is when said repairs are done correctly, in a reasonable time at a fair market price by technicians who have a keen interest in great customer service. We sent our NEW riding mower here because the manufacturer subcontracted out to them. The belt had come off. That was all. We had only mowed with it FOUR times. We hadn’t heard anything for THREE WEEKS so we called them. They said they had “just looked at it the day before “ and that “ the blades needed to be sharpened and the deck leveled”. Funny thing is the manufacturer warranty was not going to cover that. Please tell me how a brand new mower needs that done!!! Then they proceeded to call at 9:00pm to say they will bring it back the next day. When it was brought back the deck of the mower was COMPLETELY MESSED UP!!!! On level one it lays on the ground. When engaged it cuts the mower off. One side of the deck is way higher than the other. It was NOT like this before. I believe it was done on purpose because I was upset it took them three weeks to get to my mower and then attempted to get more money out of me. This place is terrible!!! Clearly they have no clue what they are doing. And they are completely incompetent. What a disappointment

This place is awesome. I walked in for the 1st time needing assistance ordering parts for a Dixie chopper. I was immediately helped by David who was clearly busy when I showed up. He put what he was working on to the side and proceeded to help me locate correct part numbers for pricing. This mower wasnt easy to find part numbers for since it was a modified engine. He took my information down and said he would call me when he had answers. The very next day he called with pricing and availability. I ordered the parts and was told they would call when they arrived. I got a call on the day I was told the parts would be here and was able to go pick them up. All the parts were a perfect match to the mower.It seems this is the way business should always be conducted but I hardly ever get the service and dedication that Capital has provided. I will definitely use them again and was so impressed on the business ethics that I will definitely think of them if I need new lawn equipment.If you need professional assistance on their brands they rep then dont hesitate to give them a try.

Great customer service! My lawnmower is actually working better than when I originally purchased it. It has more power and speed. I had my blade, spark plug, air filter and wheel replaced. I also received my lawnmower in a timely manner.

After speaking to them on my behalf they replaced my motor under warranty. Since 2017 Capital Repair Services has been on our speed dial. Thank David. Always a pleasure

I had a wonderful experience in working with Peter and David. It is so invigorating when you find people who take providing outstanding customer service seriously. I dropped my lawn mower off at their store on one particular afternoon. David called me the next day to tell me how much the repair service would be. I told him to go ahead and do the service. David called me the next day to tell me get my lawn mower was ready for pick up. Wow! The job was completed in two days. Now thats service. When I went to pay for the repair service, David told me my Sears plan covered the labor and installation of the lawn mowers cover. I appreciate Peters technical ability. I appreciate Davids glowing personality and enthusiasm. These are signs of real pros in both Peter and David. Its unfortunate that we live in a world where there is so much negativity. Nevertheless, I feel when people go the extra mile to provide outstanding customer service, they need to be commended or recognized. Thanks Peter and David. Please know that your service has not gone unnoticed.

Excellent customer service, prompt turn around, and my equipment was fixed.I took my businesss chainsaw into Capital and the woman who processed the paperwork told me what the deposit was for and when my equipment would be looked at. One day later, I got a call from a gentleman that told me what was wrong, what the price would be to fix it, and that it could be ready the next day. I agreed to the price and it was fixed the next day. Total of two business day turnaround. I could not be more pleased. The lady who processed my equipment provided excellent customer service and was extremely polite as was the gentleman that called me.Compare this to to my experience at West Side Engines:-I called them ten days after they received my chainsaw to ask when it would be looked at and fixed: the owners response was to become agitated and tell me that it would be done in a few days but would not give me any more specifics. He was shocked I wanted an actual date that my equipment would be looked at. I had my guys pick it up the next day and we brought it to Capital. I am very glad I made that decision.

Picked up my generator, repaired it and delivered back to me. NO PROBLEMS and great service. Cost to pick up and deliver was $75 each way but worth it because it is so heavy and a hassle. Repair work top notch. Not sure why so many negative reviews, if you use them make sure to add a positive one if you were happy!

On 08-25-15 my husband called Capital repair for a part for his lawnmower, he gave all information needed and told them he had the part# he wanted them to use, he heard someone say in the background what an ass!!! So they tell him they have ordered the part and with shipping it would be $44.37. On 09-01-15 he called to check on the part because it had been 5 business days. They told him that they could not find where the part had been ordered, they would call him back. He heard someone again make rude comments... I read the reviews on line and did not like what I read. I told him to cancel the order and find it somewhere else they had never ordered it. They were not professional at all, rude and acted like they did not care. My husband called Dixie Chopper Parts Distributor and a nice lady answered the phone took the information he had was friendly and helpful told him his part would ship 09-01 and would arrive on Thursday 09-03 and his total was $22.00 for the exact same part. I will not use Capital again!!! they need to take a lesson from Dixie BE KINDER TO CUSTOMERS. IN RESPONSE THEY HAD NO RECORD OF THE ORDER ON 09-01 AND THEY WOULD CALL WHEN IT WAS IN ..THEY DID NOT HAVE TO LOOK UP ANY PART MY HUSBAND GAVE THEM THE INFORMATION TO ORDER BY THEY DID NOT TELL HIM HIS PART WOULD BE THERE ON 09-01 IF THEY HAD HE WOULD NOT HAVE CALLED BACK AND CANCELED THE ORDER HE NEEDED THE PART. I asked Capital to change the fuel line from tank to carburetor on my chainsaw as I had just changed it but the inside diameter was a lot smaller than the old one. In fact I changed all the tubing and the primer but then it would not start. The charge at the time I left the chainsaw was $30. Capital called me that afternoon and said the tech found a minor problem with the carburetor but said the smaller hose I had put on was working fine. The Gentleman told me they could change the hose and the bill would be more or pick it up and the charge would be the initial $30 I had given them. I was impressed that they valued honesty over profit.

One star because it would not let me give them ZERO STARS. What a joke. The WARSAW location has great people but the owner (Pete) does not care if he has enough people to run the store efficiently. My mower which I purchased there not long ago, sat for 3 weeks before they even looked at it. Then after I called 5 times the young guy at the phone told me the problem was a wire harness that was order, it had been damaged from them servicing the mower just 2 days before I brought it back, the part would be another week to arrive........BUY A JOHN DEERE!!!

BEWARE! I will never go back to this company for any repairs. Last fall I took my riding mower to be repaired, they said they did the work, charged me over $200. I put my mower up for winter and didnt use the mower again until this spring and it started up twice and broke again. I took it back to them it was the exact same problem they supposedly fixed but they guy said I would have to pay over $300 for the same repairs. I said no, and took it to another lawn repair service, and found out some of the work was never done the first time. What a rip off, and waste of money but never again.

Its tucked in behind the Duron paint shop, and hard to find, but well worth finding. They quickly fixed my Craftsman riding mower (turned out had a compression problem), at a reasonable price (less than $100). Very happy with the entire end to end transaction. They even took the time to have the mechanic explain to me the problem and how he fixed it. Great folks;I highly recommend their services.

After reading several reviews of this shop, I will first and foremost say this review is being written after all contact has been made with this shop, and no further contact will be made on our part.To start with, we purchased a wood splitter in late 2017 from Lowe’s in our area. This year, it’s leaking hydraulic fluid pretty steadily. Knowing that we had purchased an extended warranty with it, we went ahead and called Lowe’s to schedule a repair date. They went ahead and scheduled us for May 3rd for a pick up for the splitter. Lowe’s said the company performing the work has a contract with them, and would take care of us.Fast forward roughly a week, to the date of April 18, 2019 and we receive a call from Pete at capital repair, who was our serviceman for the splitter. He insisted that it was not Lowe’s choice, simply because he doesn’t want to send a truck to our area on the chosen day (even though the contract holder set this appointment way in advance, like, almost a month, but nonetheless. He very quickly resorted to cussing, including but not limited to the f - word. He then proceeded to say “you just need to stop talking and listen” and was far from professional.Today, April 19, 2019 I went ahead and called Lowe’s, who assured me the appointment for pickup was scheduled for May 3. So I called Pete, again, a little before noon on this date. I proceeded to bring to his attention that Lowe’s, who holds his contract for the repair work done to their units, has set the appointment for May 3. He again, very quickly turned hostile and resorted to cussing. He then hung up on me. So I called back, and he proceeded with “buddy you have a few screws loose” and hung up again. So on the third call, I decided to put it on speaker and record with a co workers phone. On the third call, he became very hostile, said the f - word many times, yelled a little, ended the call with “your appointment for pick up is now canceled” and hung up, even though he has insisted he was never coming from the start?So I went ahead after that and just called the manufacturer of the splitter, dirty hands tools. I relayed the inconvenience and how unprofessional the company performing warranty repairs on their products is acting. They were very concerned, and wanted me to provide the name, number and address of Capital Repair and who I have speaking with there, so I gave them the information. I was transferred to Kiera, from Dirty hands, and she was beyond excellent with her customer service. We escalated this issue in a matters of hours, and the company ended up skipping over Capital Repair, and got us in with Little Red Barn in Harrisonburg, Va. Later on I received a call from one of the head guys at Dirty hand Tools In Denver, CO. He again wanted to know about the dilemma we had been having with Capital Repair, so I went ahead and sent them the recording of Pete. At this point, they told us they would fully handle the situation all the way to having someone pick up the splitter on the day of our choice.I would highly recommend doing research and shopping around if you are in any need, warranty or not, of repair work done to your equipment. Capital Repair has shown nothing but hostile responses, loud yelling, insults and dumbfounded cuss words.If you are in the area, and need repairs, call Little Red Barn, I promise your experience will be much more pleasant and productive.

I have to say Capital Repair was right on point. We took our power washer in for repair and the staff there was so helpful and courteous. Even though we were willing to pay for the repair, they investigated into the company who made it and concluded that we were still under warranty and we didnt pay anything!!! now thats customer service. Mower was sent in for repair through a protection plan. It took two weeks to get the protection plan to accept responsibility for repairs. This repair center took about 5 weeks to look at the mower. Called me and told me it has bad gas. I asked the gentleman on the phone to submit the bill to the protection plan company since they already told me they would take care of it. He insisted they wouldnt. I told him I already dealt with them in regards to it and would be phoning them as soon as Im off the line with them. Months go by no mower, I made several calls to my protection plan company finally get someone on the line that tells me they never got a bill. Call this repair center and ask again can you please send a bill so they can pay it. I was told by the repair center I dont know what Im am talking about, Im annoying, and the company isnt going to pay it so he isnt going to waste his time. My protection plan company is refunding me for my mower but meanwhile went the entire mowing season without a mower. This guy is a dick and impossible to work with, I hope he goes under and wouldnt be surprised if asurion stops sending business his way.

I bought a Dixie Chopper from here in 2017. I was not impressed with the customer service at the time of delivery. I arrived to pick up my mower and signed the paperwork in the office. The man in the office basically took me to the garage area and pointed to the unit which was buried in the area by other machines. I had to help him move his other machines to get mine out. They did not go over the controls or functions of the machine it was kind of like you bought it so take it and leave. Worst customer service ever.

I called to express that one of several items I had repaired in the fall to be ready for spring was not working at all. The owner persisting in telling me that I put bad gas in it. I told him I purchased brand new gas that very morning. That I had not used it at all since having the repairs because it was winter. He said several more times that i did something to it and then told me to bring it in and pay the $35 dollar fee first. That he doubts they did anything wrong. He was not even willing to even check it out without me paying them for an item they didnt fix. When I insisted again that I did nothing to the mower since they had it he said he wasnt going the argue with him. This is the worse customer service I have ever experienced. It is a complete insult to accuse your customer and not even try to make things right unless I pay first. He took no responsibility for poor work. Even if I took it back paid the diagnostic fee which I paid initially and repair cost on an item that does not work he could try and charge me again to repair my mower that they didnt repair in the first place. Not happening. You should be ashamed how you treat a customer who has used yours services for the last 3 years and referred others. You are the WORST!!!!!

I have had repairs done successfully here before and as recently as two weeks ago, but this time was different. The trimmer that had just been repaired here was irreparable this time. I merely asked if I might get a concession on the inspection fee in this case since I had just had it repaired and it was now worthless. My request must have touched a nerve. I felt like I was pounced upon by both an employee and the apparent owner/manager, who was unnecessarily belligerent before I had a real chance to say anything. This over $30. I just wanted someone in a responsible position to hear me out. They get to keep the $30, but lost a customer solely because of their attitude.

I came here looking for a small replacement part for a Honda lawnmower. I had tried to find/order the part online but was unsuccessful. I gave the person who helped me a half-assed description of what I needed. He was able to find the part assembly and had to put together about 6-items to make up the assembly because Honda didnt sell it already assembled. I have to say that this gentleman worked diligently for about 20-minutes helping me for a $25 part. I was very impressed with the customer service! I can just imagine how long this process would have taken at HD!The part(s) arrived the next day!I had read some of the other reviews prior to going here and had some trepidation but it was quickly diminished! I will definitely be coming back here when my mower needs serviced!

Drove down there to inquire about a part and while it was still during their open hours was told that no one from Parts was there. I understand but you would think the individual would be more open to helping. He then was telling me to just go on the website and email the department and they would most likely respond Monday. He could not wait to get me out the door quick enough. No sorry, no lets see what I can do -- heck wouldnt even look me in the eye. I guess I should have checked the reviews. I wasted an hour trying to go to this place. Seriously, not sure how they stay in business based on my experience and other reviews.

My lawnmower went down about a month ago. I called them up and placed an order for a few parts for my small engine lawn mower since Im a DIYer. Two days later NO ONE returns the call on my order like they said they would. I call back and the guy answering the phone says I cant tell the people in the parts department what to do. UN FN Believable. I ordered the 2 parts I needed online a few days later and got them in the mail by the end of the week. I call back to see what happened to my order and they had NO CLUE!!! F this place. Bunch of SCUMBAGS!!!!

I am the Director of Operations for a commercial construction company. We use alot of small equipment and I have used most of the small engine repair shops around town over the years.Capital Repair has been head and shoulders above the other folks I have tried. They tell me they will call me back when the problem is diagnosed--and they actually do. They fix it in a reasonable amount of time--other places will sit on it for weeks on end. And when I get it, it works like it is supposed to. They have become my go-to place to keep our equipment going.

Last year, my mother bought a new mower in March and I used it once. I foolishly left gas in it, so the next time I tried to use it, it wouldnt start because the carburetor needed to be cleaned. (Lesson learned.) This shop cleaned the carburetor but also told me I needed a new spark plug, a new filter, a new blade, etc. I pointed out that the lawn mower was, like, four months old and ordered them to only clean the carburetor because I wasnt paying for anything else. I will never take our mower here again.

My Toro Self-Propelled Push Mower was in need of repair. When I dropped it off, I was told it would take up to 2 wks. Although that was longer than I preferred, I did appreciate the honesty. The technician called me with his diagnosis of the issues & asked for my authorization to complete the work. I got a call the next morning that my mower was ready for pick up. It actually was less than 2 wks when I got my mower back in smooth running condition. I am pleased with both the communication and the service that Capital Repair Services provided me. I will return for service again in the future!

Did I hate the service would be a understatement for this company, we purchased a lawn tractor threw tractor supply and a extended warranty trust me if I could have picked the company I wouldnt have sent it there. This wasnt the first time they got it but it will be the last. The first time they got it they never fixed the problem my mower so reluctantly when the insurance center said they were to take it again we had to let them. The first problem with this exsperience was the fact it took them over a month to even look at the mower given the issue they claim it has it wouldnt make since for it to take this long. Only reason I can come up with is they wrecked my mower and hoped that Id forget what our mower looked like, trust and believe I worked for the fraud department for claims for three years I took pictures before and after I know what shape this mower was in when it left our property. The Gaul of this owner is beyond redemption, to call this man rude would be a insult to rude people everywhere from cursing to laughing to straight up lying this man does it all with only the wimper of my brothers are master techs or family run business to try and counter act with. From extremely stupid techs putting blades on backwards on purpose mind you to then saying we never touched the blades yet the reciept left by your driver said you did now my mower chokes and cuts dirt instead of grass yet they never touched a thing. We called and attempted to get him to make right on this and he refused to touch what he and his family run business tore up. Its funny that the mower would cut grass it may have choked but would at least cut it now eats dirt in strip and chokes. Did you fix it no were your intentions to fix it no this business runs on fraudulent insurance claims it seems because review wise we arent the first. The better business bueura, insurance center, and my connection with the fraud department will be utilized against this woman hater being that he belittled me when I attempted to speak with him on several occasions today. If he has your mower good luck and take plenty of pictures before it leaves tho Im sure he will have plenty more excuses on how he just cant see how it happened..

The service was horrible I have a honda lawn mower that I bought from lowes with a extended warrenty they told me to take it there and I did they said it would inspect it and call me when they found the problem I went to them and they said that the crank shaft was broken and you cant fix it even if you paid us its garbage just throw it away When I said no then he got angry and wouldnt even resond to me I got my lawn mower back in pieces it was a horrible experiance I would not recomend this place to anyone.
