I’ve always had good experiences with AutoZone but my latest one deserves a review.I was having some issues with my car starting up slow and someone suggested I come here and get my battery tested. So I went yesterday and I was helped by Travis. He checked my battery and alternator and long story short, figured out my battery was bad. He helped me pick out a new battery and installed it for me right there at no cost (other than the battery cost itself). He was so helpful and explained everything very well. I was very thankful for his help and that it was something as simple as a battery. Now my car runs smooth again. And my new battery came with a great warranty! Thanks again Travis!

Been a customer of theirs for years. I get the best deals around town here. Sometimes it’s kinda hard getting specialty parts, but they just upped their distribution capabilities, so things should get better.
The store manager Jose Garcia checked out my purchases, he was awesome! I dont know why people would complain. I asked a bunch of questions. Told him what was wrong and he got everything I needed. Some parts had store warranty so I can return to autozone which makes it easy. Some dont have in store warranty. Get what I can take though. Other employees working seemed to be in great moods despite this heat. Thank you all for being so helpful with all of my questions
The gentleman whom Id dealt with wasnt the most pleasant... I was mainly coming here to get my oil changed, and unfortunately hed claimed that they dont change oil, but, I was told that they did do Oil Changes... I even clearly saw one of the other employees helping another Client with their car!!!! Id rate it lower than this, but, it wont let you comment otherwise. Im going to find REAL Professionals who I know will do a better job than here.
We were on our way to Bishop, Ca from Ontario,Ca when we stopped In Ridgecrest For fuel. Our 2005 Honda Pilot just quit running after we filled up. We were near an Auto Zone Auto Parts. Chris behind the counter was incredibly helpful. He came to our car and checked the electrical and determined in was more than likely the Alternator. Chris could get an a new Alternator the next morning but trying to find a repair shop than could squeeze us to replace the Alternator would almost impossible on short notice.Chris ending up calling a private mechanic friend of his and the cane to our location checked the car the he drove to the Parts store picked the Alternator came back to the car and replaced the Alternator in the parking lot.Incredible luck and thanks to Chris an Auto Zone we were back on the road.Thanks Chris,Customer from Bishop, Ca.C. Theyre pretty helpful here. Unfortunately that can sometimes lead to long wait times while theyre assisting others. So for someone like myself, that just wants to buy the part and fix it myself, it can be a little inconvenient. But I like that theyre willing to help those that need it.

Very dissapointed with this store and the Manager Jose Garcia. I purchased a premium car cover with finest uv protection from this store last year for my 63 TBird. The Cover is a ProElite Gold size 5, and was the more expensive one they had in stock. The box stated a 10 year warranty against defects in material. Needless to say, the cover started disintegrating on the top surfaces of the car after less than a year. I saved the receipt and box end with the warranty description that states: To have this warranty honored, please return your cover to the place of purchase. I tried to do that today, but the manager said they would not honor the warranty despite the product statement. Autozone should not sell products that they wont stand behind. Manager Jose Garcia was un-sympathetic and could have cared less that he was going to lose a local customer for life. I like Autozone, but the local Ridgecrest Store needs to remember that customers like me helped to keep their doors open.

I would give my experience it is AutoZone five stars because the manager Mr. gentry was very polite. He had top-notch customer service very knowledgeable and allowed us to purchase a battery three minutes after eight when they were trying to close so we can get out of town. The only reason why I’m giving it four stars is because one of the other employees I believe his name is Niall was rude and kind of a crybaby he complained because he was getting off three minutes later than what he normally would have like he really had something more important to do. He really should not be working With customers and he could learn a lot from Mr. gentry

Very poor service refused to help. Didn’t want to give me my warranties product argued and lied to my face but when asked questions on phone they had seemed to of known exactly what I was talking about. Refused to lend me tools to do it myself and talked down to me (female) then yelled at my partner (male) treated unfairly felt discriminated. Never go to this autozone they think they know more then they actually do.
Came into get parts for my car and Heather was amazing. She was so enthusiastic and willing to help me find exactly what I needed. Im so thankful she was there. She was super friendly and provided superb customer service.

This is the store I usually go to, to get parts for my cars. I do like that there is assistance available when needed. But sometimes there is too much unrelated conversation that goes on between employees that shouldnt be happening while customers are in the store.

Every time Ive needed help personnel has accommodated above and beyond what I would have considered job limits. Polite, some more knowledged than others, but all very willing to help if possible and see that u r a pleased returning customer. Thanx Guys of Ridgecrest AZ. This is my Go to place for auto parts! Most of the time they have what I want at a reasonable price. Occasionally, they dont have access to the part I want. When that happens, they recommend possible alternatives.
