Great staff, better prices, and within walking distance from the new panda Express and the Walmart walking path😊

Grocery pickup could be so convenient except when you are left waiting 45 minutes. I received the notification my order was ready and arrived at Walmart about 15 minutes later and checked in with the app. I waited for 45 minutes before my order was brought out. I didnt save any time at all and likely could have shopped in store faster.On a separate visit I was left waiting 25 minutes. I watched while vehicles that arrived after me received their order and left. Its very frustrating.Walmart may have good prices on groceries, and good produce, but Im willing to pay more for better customer service. Ill probably go back to doing all my shopping elsewhere and only buy from Walmart what isnt available at any other store.

Easy peasy pick up!! I was the only customer at the pick.up spot and delivery was within the first couple of minutes!! I had a very personable employee, Joseph, who was super friendly and identified me and my order quickly and delivered everything promptly and professionally!!Kudos on a great job Joseph and Walmart!

Most of the time I have gone to my local Walmart its been a pleasant shopping experience. HOWEVER a recent event put a very bitter taste in my mouth from your average checker at self checkout all the way up to management they really need to address the customer service relations practices and protocols as well as not only doing the job they were hired to do but learn to go above and beyond your job tasks to show customers you care and show star service and not show your only there for a paycheck. Absolute beyond disgusted with my local Wal-Mart.

I could rant for hours about the management here but here are some bullet points.Has cycled though at least 3 store managers in the past year to due assuming bad metrics in the store. All rumors because we arent told anything but I have heard that someone who was hired to be store manager walked though the store for the first time then quit that job.Online Grocery pickup is all about luck. That department does not have any reliable mangers and leadership for the past 5 months. 30 minute wait times are a joke because by then, you could of gotten it yourself but this happens regularly ever few days. Some days this department will get hours behind because 4-6 people called out and then at the end of the day there will be 5 people to pick thousands of items and dispense 60 orders in 3 hours. (thats not possible)Managers from other stores will try to fix the order pickup service by telling people that they work to slow, that their not doing stuff in the right order while they were busy helping other customers and not doing two things at once. In short when managers who havent been in this department go to try to fix our department problems they boss people around in the wrong ways while not attempting to help then they stop a week later when nothing had improved but just slowed down. This has happend 3 times so far.Theres more that I can say about this store, most problems stem from management though, even if that management is just corporate who dont even work at this store.

Great wifi and classical walmart

The worst experience ever!! Received the automated text that my grocery order was ready at 4:42 pm. I got there at 5:00 pm. There were no parking spots available so I waited in line for a spot with two cars ahead of me in line. After waiting for 20 minutes, and saw no employee helping anyone, I called the store to check what was going on. They said they were understaffed. I waited for and hour and a half for my groceries, only after I got out of my car and complained. A girl pulled up next to me, only waited for 5 minutes and she got her groceries before half of us that have been waiting. So irritating!! On a separate visit, I’ve waited almost an hour. They need to hire more people. Seriously ridiculous!

Our Walmart in Ridgecrest is one of the best places to go shopping it has everything I enjoy talking with the associates when they have time everybody is so busy making sure that the customers are happy great job Walmart

Its Walmart, ya know? Almost all the stuff you could want under one roof as long as you dont visit during a really busy period when the shelves have been picked clean.No complaints, but not wowed by the experience either.

So when does this store ever get stocked? I’ve been in town now three weeks and items as simple as a case of Diet Coke have been non existent on the shelves? The more expensive ways of buying items like this of course is available. IE, 12 packs or 2 liters, but this seems to be true with all items in this store? You can’t buy a lb of packaged ham, but lesser amount for more etc in all of food, toiletries, and hone goods. Not to mention pick up here totally blows. That don’t tell you your pick up is late until after scheduled pick up time? Why are there always younger employees just milling around the store with a fist full of food and drink not helping customers or working at all for that matter? I’ve been to Walmart’s all over this country being a fill time boondocker and BY FAR this is the worst Walmart in the country!

Like this Walmart because it’s not as crowded as the others in like Bakersfield. However, not sure what’s up with staffing, maybe they are in the middle of hiring more employees after the COVID outbreak but I noticed my husband and I, along with other customers I saw wandering the store, were all looking for assistance to retrieve locked up items. Employees were stocking merchandise but didn’t notice any working the sales floor. Kinda weird but hopefully this is temporary. Usually pretty decent place to shop.

Great place to shop or for convenience sake just get the app and shop online pick up is so easy you dont even have to get out of your car always safe and always sanitary.

I love shopping there but it seems lately they are out of a lot of the health and beauty supplies Im looking for. It may not be their fault and im trying to be patient and understanding. The service is still a good quality and the employees are still helpful and for the most part pleasant.

Doesnt seem like a Supercenter to me. It seemed dark and messy inside. Shelves were cluttered and disorganized. Good customer service. Plenty of parking. Dry water reservoir system is in place around the building for Agenda 21 requirements.

There are a lot of items not stocked completely through out the store. I have to return multiple times to get everything on my list. Ive given up on finding any employee in sporting goods or fabrics. I go elsewhere for anything I need in those departments. On the plus side, the employees are friendly and helpful when you can find them.

Unfortunately I have to shop here most of the time due to the fact that I live in a small town and we don’t have many stores. The employees are rude, they walk around trying to avoid answering questions or working seems like, there is never more then 4 stands open and at least a 30 minute wait in line, half the time they aren’t going to have what your shopping for and also their bathrooms are always disgusting

This is the only Walmart for miles in this remote area. It is always well stocked and a super store.

Great shopping experience on a busy Christmas Eve. We interacted with several employees while looking for items; every one of them was friendly and helpful even though they were clearly busy. The store was well stocked and clean.

I know many probably wouldnt agree but because of this Walmart, in Ridgecrest, I was able to get what I needed. Went to Red Raock Canyon, got on the trail, all equipment was ready, went to snap a photo... NO MEMORY CARD IN MY CANON! OH NO!!! What a nightmare. Given up and bummed out, my wife did ask if I wanted to look for a Walmart or something? There might be one in Ridgecrest.. Really??? Right now? Just pack n go??So I said screw it and drove about 30 to 40 miles, got there, got a memory card, a bigger memory card for my GoPro, head strap, also for the GoPro, and even a wrap at Subway.Let me tell you, Subway did a great job, quick, easy and even took a selfie with the ICEE Polar Bear. The Walmart store was a little slow at checkout, but without Walmart there, I dont know where else I could of purchased a memory card in that area.

I am new at this area but it was easy for me to get what I wanted and their wasn’t many people which is something that I liked than the lines that don’t move faster. The good thing is the self checkout line was empty so I did my buying and then left. It was the fastest shopping I did and this is why I put five stars!

I hate leaving bad reviews. You need to get up on your hiring and hire more people. Pick up time was 5-6pm. Got message it was ready at 445. So many people here there was no available spots to park so everyone just started extending the spots. The guy was so overwhelmed. Finally came over to me at 610. Hire more people.

Its Walmart. It is really one of the few things to do in this town. They have everything,its cool inside the staff, well you find good and bad anywhere you go. In fact Im on my way there now.

Easy to navigate, all the associated are helpful. Plus the AC in there is fantastic for the super hot days here in RC.

Way bigger with lots off variety of items available. So fresh vegetables. Very well organized and well maintained. Staff is very friendly and cooperative. Huge parking spot.

Same as any other Walmart superstore they have everything you need more definitely not as crowded as Bakersfield

The store states that it has dividers at checkout, masks required and that staff are required to disinfect surfaces between visits. I did see the dividers but no disinfecting. Requiring masks upon entry does not count as masks being required especially given many staff members dont wear masks which is very disrespectful to individuals who are older or with higher risk conditions. As one of our largest retailers and employers, I would encourage walmart to put as much effort into protecting the health and safety of staff and customers as they do in their efforts to prevent loss of merchandise, or at least have the integrity to stop advertising that they take measures they dont.

Ive been to my fair share of walmarts and this one is well maintained and staffed with friendly people.

Walmart always has what I need but dont like going because of all the weird customers, thats why i choose pick up lol

The Pickup Grocery was absolutely amazing. The young man was very nice and very courteous. I will be using the pick up more especially since Im on the mend of a broken ankle.

BUYER BEWARE:I ordered a curbside pickup for yesterday - I showed up on time and they told me it would be another 2-3 hours best case scenario.. at this point I asked to cancel - they told me no, then after I pushed they said they would cancel, refund and call me back. Never heard anything back and have been dealing with rude - inconsiderate people all morning. Hanging up on me, putting me on infinite holds and being exceptionally rude. Specifically their managers Rhonda & Cindy. Never again.

Dont ever pick up an online order inside this store. Besides this time, Ive waited this long or longer in the past. I entered my name for online order pick up. I lit up the button on the wall 4-5 times. I asked 3 employees to call for someone, no one did. Waited over 20 minutes. Went back around to the outside for pick up. Very nice male employee helped me in minutes. Lesson learned.

Its walmart, most know what to expect. Most of the employees are not excited to be working there. The biggest disappointment to me is their online ordering. It takes hours for them to retrieve it and they wont let you get it yourself. I feel like if they want to be able to compete with Amazon, they need to make the process faster. All that said, they have mostly anything youll need.

Extremely hot inside and not well staffed or stocked.

They employee thieves. Bought $200 Visa Gift Card and tried to check card balance at customer service desk. They stole card # and before I could use it they opened account which Im not privy to since I dont know their password; and spent all $200 on Google. Called gift card CS # on card and spent hours and days on hold only to eventually be hung up on by customer service over and over. Got incident # from police to give to customer service but they hung up each time I tried to give it to them. Ive spent thousands and thousands of dollars there each year and they wouldnt even consider my claim for a $200 refund that their employees stole, amazing!!! FU WalFart

Absolutely the worse service for pick up and delivery. And their customer service is the worst of any Walmart Ive been to.

Rude employees who overstep there authority at the check out everytime and this is definitely not a supercenter. Very poorly managed and extremely unorganized with unsafe pallets constantly stacked in the middle of the isles.

Because of this awful heat fruits and veggies are not good. Neither are store made items like sandwiches bakery items, deep fried chicken etc. Before this hot weather things were good.

This store is understaffed, but those people who work at this store do their best to serve us customers. You can easily see how hard they are working; but if you ask for help, they stop and help you. And they are polite and cheerful. The best part is that these same workers were hired from our town.WALMART, the store where friends help friends; and we all wear our masks

Good luck getting any help in the paint area after 6pm. I was there along with another couple last night for over 40 minutes waiting for an employee who actually had a key, to unlock the spray-paint. So ridiculous. We pressed the call button so many times, tried to page someone over the intercom as well as a girl in beauty who did it for us as well. I finally walked to customer service at the front of the store and a worker said they would be over after helping a customer. It just shouldnt be so hard to get something like this accomplished.

Constantly out of stock for weeks at a time on a large number of normal items. Not overly reliable.

Not too crowded Nice and air conditioned and very very helpful staff.

Some workers just point to things wont walk with you to show where items are they just point its over there

Basically the main spot to shop around here... its decent except the extremely rude and judgemental workers that assume if you have a purse then you are a thief... besides that their great.

I think the prerequisite for getting hired here is brain death.... Even when you call, nobody has a clue whats going on in this place. Maybe its just ridgecrest

This Walmart is mediocre. I think the employees could do a better job in general with being helpful and caring. Other than that, it is a Walmart and has a lot of useful items and groceries.

They had a printer that I was interested in but didnt buy it because they dont stock the ink cartridges for the printer. Go figure.We bought a couple of spatulas, and Lysol.

They have to much stuff blocking the walk ways so it can become a bit of a problem getting around in Walmart now

Something is wrong with this store that leaves me wondering what is their primary objective. Presently the focus is minimum customer service at minimum cost to meet corporate mandates. Bill Waltons ethic is no longer the priority.

I found all my shopping needs. Not crowded, friendly staff.

Lots of boxs in the aisle,pallets not put away. Empty shelves, but pallets in the way with no one working to put stuff away.

When all other stores dont have what youre looking for, Walmart has it. Makes my day! ☺️

This has to be the worst super center I have ever shopped at. Selection is limited. Out of stock in grocery department on so many brands/goods. Outdoor department has only petunias in 6 packs. No automotive service center. No wheelchair carts. No handheld baskets. Making shopping with a wheelchair bound person very difficult.

Staff tends to be rude, they do greet you at the door, and they ask for the reciept when leaving the store, which requires the customer to not social distance. Additionally they lock up items and you have to wait for an employees to become available to open the locked areas. The one star is for the pricing, the second star is for product variety.

Wal marts in ridgecrest is basically a good store. Its well stocked and kept balanced that way. How ever it is usually slow at the lines getting stuff paid for

Items listed on the app were not in the store. Unable to find garden hoses and the outside garden department is closed to customers but no signage and the doors were wide open leading us to believe it was OK to enter the area and the employee was a tad rude about it.

I actually really think that this Walmart has gone severely downhill since it opened. Things on the shelves are always in disarray and the inventory online is never correct to what they actually have.

Employees at door checking receipts at door made me feel like a thief even when recipt was shown and items were scanned because of my looks having tattoos on my face, the lady at checkout breathing down my neck and was rude when asking for help employees not being professional while shopping cursing and laughing making jokes not working just a bunch of little kids

Theres never enough cashiers theres nobody working in the departments to ask questions the fitting room lady cant make a tag for a talk that was missing a price tag so this Walmart sucks

The Ridgecrest Walmart is one of the best across the United States and Canada. Always clean and well stocked and the employees are kind courteous and cordial.

I had a bad experience with the pick up at site option. I scheduled a pick up for my groceries and they were not ready. I asked if I could come back later because I have appointments. That is when the man named Joshua became very aggressive and threatening towards me. Her literally got in my face and threatened violence. I went to his manager and she did nothing.I will not order groceries for pick up at this location ever again.Im sure it was just not his best day. But threatening a customer is bad for business.

Im finding it harder and harder to find a loaf of bread that isnt sliced open anymore. I cant tell if its a vendor or an employee but someone is cutting the bread packaging open with a razor blade. Get it together guys.
