If I could Rate this place 0 stars I would. I called before I went down there to see if they had an item I needed and they reassured me they had it. When I got there they said they didnt carry the irem. Now I know why they have all the 1 stars!!! The management doesnt do anything to try to resolve any of the customer service issues, she rather back talk and trash talk back. What a trashy way to run a business. I will never go back there or recommend this place.

Requires you to have a membership to shop. They have a day pass for like $5 or a yearly fee. Didnt let me know until 20mins in the shop and after waiting in line. No where does it say you need a membership to shop. A sign saying members-only savings but nothing saying you need a membership. I understand the pandemic changed thing but at least put a sign saying you membership required to shop with you.

I was looking up stores like this in my area. not great reviews. and looking at owners response to one- ENTITLED MUCH, etc. is that a professional or even friendly response to existing or possible new business you want as a reply? - asking for possible new customers reading your response.-

Back then they used to be amazing! But now they don’t have much stuff or they run out quickly. It’s been almost a 3 weeks now that they don’t have edible images.plus their new employees don’t really know what they are doing. I loved the other girls before

I feel like it’s not even the store. But if you want people to be welcome into your store, have them get a member ship with your store PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD hire employees that know how to talk to the customers. Have them encourage customers to get a membership, your store is a good store but having employees like this will make you loss your customers. If the employees you have stay this way there will be no customers. The employees you have should get replaced with people with people skills learn how to control them selves without being rude to customers cause at the end of the day the customer is always right. Even tho we aren’t it’s a saying. You should always have your employees not talk rude to the customers and having customers that you have had for years just leave cause of the people you work with it’s not okay. I have shopped at the store several times without a membership, no problem. Went in today and was told I needed a membership to shop. I explained I never needed before. The nice young associate explained they policy changed in February. I said thank you and left the store.When I returned home, I decided to research the reviews about the store. While it might make sense to have a membership to shop to receive a discount it should not prevent the store from selling items at full price if one does not have a membership. I am not a professional baker and have no plans in making it a career. I just wanted to get items to decorate cakes. Which I easily get from Amazon or another establishment. The real problem is some of the responses from the owner at this location. The comments are not just rude but totally unprofessional. It’s okay to run your business the way you want to but lack of customer service and being rude is unacceptable.A little courtesy goes a long way. Take care and have a nice day.

I wouldn’t even give this place a one star. I’ve been trying to get in there since this morning. Says they open at 11 so I came back at 11 to find a woman standing outside telling me they are not open again. She said she was here this morning and the young lady inside the store saw her but never told her she was not going to open until she came back for the second time. And now I hear you have to be a member as well. Try Pila’s pantry in Norco. And read the reviews on here so many people are saying how rude the employees are. I will not give my time and money to a place that doesn’t value its customers or honor the times it’s supposed to be open.

Now this store is charging $10.00 day pass to purchase a cake drum that cost $5.99 the lady said that they are charging anual membership due to discounted prices but those prices are higher or equal to other stores. Never shopping in here again

Hadn’t been here in a while. Was met at the door by an employee who asked If I was a member. I told her I don’t think so that I know my phone number is on file.She told me that they are members only now like Costco and it’s 50 dollars a year or I could shop 1 day for 10 dollar. “I don’t think so”.Guess I won’t be doing business there again.

E Having been a member here previously I am now regretting having given any of my business to this company. Not baking as much due to covid, I let membership expire. Came in today to be told that it is members only, and then asked if I was a member by a very rude employee. When I told her my membership had expired, she told me were members only now and took the items from my hand without even asking if I wanted to renew my membership. She did not even mention that you can purchase with a day pass which I later saw was available on their website. I am very happy to travel a little further to give Pilas Panty ALL OF MY BUSINESS FROM NOW ON.

Long LONG time customer. I went to culinary school with some of the staff that I havent seen much of lately. They used to be friendly and attentative. I have shopped at many different locations for years. Today I was told that in order to shop at this store I need to be an exclusive memeber, like this is Costco or Sams club? And if I wanted to purchase the products that I had already shopped for, I would be paying a additional $10 for my order.. this was all made to my attention AFTER I shopped. First of all, there should be no reason for their products to be considered exclusive or need a membership. They sell cake boards, cake boxes, fondant and tools ( so does Michaels and Amazon, no membership needed). I know they have me on their system but I never even received a notice or email about their new rules and regulations to shop at their store. I havent even seen anything on Instagram or Facebook announcing their new policies. Very sketchy. I totally understand the lilac card before, which was logical. But this just sounds like a full on scam to get more money and not support local bakers or their small businesses. I went to the cakewalk looking for basics and nothing was even labeled. No indication of what size or price each cake board was. The cake boxes were not labeled with size or price either. How to you expect your customers to get the right product if they arent labeled at all? Looks like these people are getting real lazy and careless, not to mention greedy. The staff was not in the slightest way attentative like they used to be. They just want your money and for you to leave. Its upsetting to see the neglect and selfishness overcome a small business that I have supported for so long, even recommending this shop to other local bakers. If you are considering shopping here, Id advise that you dont.. unless you want to get ripped off. And seeing from other comments here from the owners, they dont seem to care about this kind of feedback. instead of being graceful about it, they respond by being rude and condescending.(only responding to the bad reviews??🤔😂) Sure says alot about whos running the place.. if I could give less than 1 star I would. So long, I will definitely be doing my cake shopping elsewhere with a business who deserves it🙂

I was a member of cake walk and usually had a good experience. Came into the store today and was told that because its a new calendar year that I needed to renew my membership or shop for 1 day only for 10.00 I asked the girl since your charging for people to shop here is the membership now for a full year and she said no its only until the end of this year. Note cake walk management if youre wanting to treat your customers as members only then you need to make the membership for a full year from the time its purchased

I’ve been here several times in the past but with their new members only policy and a $50 membership fee I won’t be returning.

I am a long time customer. This place has the rudest workers, terrible quality edible images and expired food items being sold as fresh with expiration dates removed and the owner is being sued for sexual misconduct and various business violations. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS PLACE.

I went here today and purchased a bit of items. The way I was checked out, I could not see the prices that were ringing up. I got 5 bags of chocolate since they had buy 5 sign and get 55% off but in smaller print it said that its only 30% off for a particular member level. I walked out reviewing my receipt. Calculated it since the receipt doesnt show the discount for every item separately. Walked right back into the store to see why I didnt get 55% off and they stated that was only for Lilac members. I no longer wanted 5 bags since i was not receiving 55% off. That is what lead me to purchase. They refused a refund saying that because it walked out the door they couldnt accept a return. There needs to be a receipt that breaks down the discount so Im not having to calculate it myself to know i was not given the discount i expected. Or there should be a register that shows the information while Im checking out before I walk to the car and be able to review the receipt.

I love that they now have a Riverside location. This was my first visit to this location and on Black Friday. The store was nicely stocked and organized with a very helpful staff. The prices are a little steep in my opinion but this seems to be normal for this industry. They advertise great deals so its great to stock up on those. Overall good experience and great local store for your cake and candy supplies.

Its the craft store of BAKING. Not just your average cupcake-batter tins or decor cups ... I saw every color imaginable in edible glitters to fondant. Buttercream icing from white to teal & black too. A wall of cookie/baking cutouts in every shape I could request. Post Halloween, I was lucky enough to find a coffin & a bat shaped cutout. Those are immediate year round winners, in our house.I looked at every isle,& I definitely will be back! Great customer service🖤🦇🖤⚰🖤😈🖤💀

Great place to go for cake tips they have a great selection. As well as a huge selection of pre-made cake filling butter cream, fondant. They have molds and cookie cutters for decorating cakes or for making chocolate. Would recommend this store. They also have lessons. Check it out!

Customer service is great everyone is friendly and helpful. Only thing is I been to three of their stores and they don’t all carry the same things I went to their Redlands and riverside store to buy the big merengue powder and they don’t carry the big one only seen it in upland. I love the store and staff just wish they all carried the same items and also just keep the store stocked up been in to a store a few times for the same things and they did not have it in stock

I was desperate need of assistance. I was on my way to pick up my daughter when my phone went dead. I lost instructions on her location. I had my granddaughter with me and I asked if they had a phone that I could use to make a call to a family member so we could get a message to my daughter.SURPRISE....their business has no phones, guess Employees dont have any either. This is a sad state of affairs when nobody is willing to help anymore.I would however like to thank the patron in the parking lot that did offer assistance. It took 30 seconds to call and problem solved.Did not ask to use Employees phone but it would have been nice if offered.Enough said...Your response said it all !!

I wish I could leave a less than 1 star review. This place was not very helpful the workers didn’t know what they were talking about and when questioned they made things up or ignored you completely. They do not honor their return policy even when the sign and receipt states a full refund or exchange will be made on items returned if they are new, unopened, and accompanied by a receipt within 30 days!!!!!!!!

This place is a Rip-off they triple there prices making you think your are getting a discount they are selling there whip n top cream for $30 when you can buy this at any local cake decorating store for $15 maybe even $10 they even buy there buckets of buttercream from Sams club which are $37 and they sell it for $100 this is crazy.. I dont like to make bad reviews on anyone but the things they are doing is pretty shady.. Dont spend all your hard earn money on this place.. Do your research and look around and I guarantee you will find better deals than this place.. 😉
