On Website Only...Ill give you the benefit of 3 stars assuming your merch is on a different level than your webpage. Come on guys. I see like 3 bikes on there with no purchase access or even multiple photos. You guys would get more business if you popped out your website. Were a lazy generation used to Google handling our shopping parameters. Feel me? Hope so..

I was very impressed yesterday with this bike shop. I went in to get a particular brand. Apparently there can only be one vendor per city of this particular brand. and did not carry it. So, instead of trying to talk me into the brand that they did Carry they very kindly referred me to the bike shop that carried that brand. They were so nice. I will definitely be taking my new bike there for service and if I ever need another bike I will definitely go there. In these hard times it was very touching to experience that mom and pop kind of customer service. Thank you Pedals I will be back

Do not go here. The owner is a complete as@hole. The staff is rude they never have any parts you need. There excuse is oh we are out but we can order. (Probably from Jenson!) Then mark up the price by a considerable amount. Ive never been treated so rude an unimportant in my life. The best way to describe this place is when you were young do you remember the bike shop that always put your bike down or didnt help you unless you had one of there bikes or a brand that was super expensive? The bike shop that was too good for your needs? Well my friends this shop is the award winner!!!! I will never take my pos bike there again.

Ive taken my mountain bike to Pedals for a tuneup before and was happy with their service, so I decided to go back for some beach cruiser parts. They said i needed to bring the bike into the store so they could measure it and when I asked to see what parts they had they repeated I needed to bring the bike in for measuring. I asked again to see their parts but they just argued with me and ultimately suggested I go to a different bike shop. I like supporting the local bike shops, but I cant see myself going back to Pedals.

Id like to thank them. My bike lost two axle nuts for the front wheel. Then I went to this store and asked if they can sell me two nuts. They are so nice to give me two nuts for free and told me that I can go back with my front wheel if that two nuts do not fit it. I tried them on my bike after returning home and they work for my bike.

Nice services, But the price is definitely higher than Walmart or other shops. Employees here are very nice and professional. They will chat with you and find out which bike meet your needs. Pedals is a great little bike store. The atmosphere in the store is a welcoming and casual. Jason and the other employees are experts. The services are fast, friendly, and professional. The products and services a reasonably priced. Unfortunately, the stores intimate size is a double edged sword for Pedals business; on their busy days to store gets crowded and it takes a while for the employees to attend to the customers. Overall, the customer services is good. I now developed the loyalty to this place.

I have been looking for a home bicycle shop for some time now. I am from Moreno Valley and was not a huge fan of any of the shops in my city so I made the drive to Pedals. I am glad that I made that decision. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and helped. I bought an inner tube and a new pump. This shop really is for everyone, from the cycle enthusiast to the beginner, like me, just starting out. The guys that work there took really good care of me when I purchased one of their new Giant road bicycles, a helmet and a light set. My wife bought hers there a couple months back and highly recommended I check them out. An hour after I made my purchase, my bike was perfectly tuned and ready to go! Well, about a month after my purchase I acquired a flat, I took my bike back in there and the owner himself hooked me up with everything I needed to get me moving again as well as took the extra time to hip me to some things about how to better lessen my chances of future flats. I will always recommend this awesome little shop to anyone looking to buy a bike or accessories or even just to ask questions about the sport as they all ride from what I gathered and really know their stuff. From my family to yours, a loyal customer for life, thanks to everyone at Pedals Bike shop, wishing you many years of success!

After looking around at several shops today we stopped by Pedals to see what they have to offer. First thing we noticed was quality bikes out on display. When we walked up with our 2 year old daughter, everybody was friendly, very helpful and gave honest answers! At no time did I feel as if they were trying to push a product on me just to make a sale like other shops were doing earlier in the day. Jason (the owner) was more than happy to let us spend a couple of hours asking questions making sure we were happy with what we bought. By the time we left, there was not a doubt in my mind that we made the right choice with Pedals!

I went into Pedals looking to build a custom bmx bike and Jason was more than happy to help me put it together. In fact he spent a good hour and a half on a Thursday helping me price out each part and check on its availability. I had specific questions regarding frames and parts so we got a hold of S&M, Fit, and Odyssey and had my questions answered over the phone. He gave me a great price that same day and had the parts ordered overnight. They had my bike built up and ready for pick-up that weekend, even though I couldnt get into the shop until the following Tuesday. I am more than impressed with the service I received at Pedals, they were friendly and professional.

This is my go to shop. Before I purchased went in and met the owner, Jason who arranged a demo ride at Sycamore Canyon, untimely led to me purchasing 2 bikes from him. Have been in multiple times since to buy and just chat since. Jason has even advised me to buy at other stores if he cant get a deal that matches. Cant say anyone has ever done that in any business for me. FYI I have a local well known shop 1/2 mile from my house and drive 15 instead to see Jason at Pedals.

Extremely underhanded business. I went in to buy some tubes for my girlfriend, and the receipt that I got with the tubes said that all sales on rubber final however; that was not communicated to me BEFORE I bought the tubes. When I told my GF how much I had spent, (almost $50 for 4 tubes!) she went online to compare pricing and realized they were priced at literally 3 times the amount of comparable tubes from Jenson USA. I went back to pedals to let them know and return the tubes only to be pulled outside the shop like a child and have the owner start to argue with me about his business expenses. He admitted to me the only reason he doesnt want to return rubber or tubes is because of the 3% return fee that credit card processing companies charge him! What a way to put your customers first huh? He offered me store credit but I at that point did not want to spend another minute in that shop nor will I ever again. They lost my business and recommendation to friends looking to buy a $3,000+ MTB. Too bad! The bottom line is that if they do not offer Returns on certain products they should be informing customers of which products those are before the transaction is completed. End of story. This is an extremely underhanded and dishonest policy to abide by and based on that principal alone, I will never set foot in that shop again or recommend their business to anyone else who rides bicycles.

Pedals Bike Shop is my new go-to shop for genuine service and all-time HELP! Bicycles are becoming more and more complicated and changing faster than I can keep up! Im old school and they are too, but they are working and dealing everyday in the new school of cycling and have been very helpful with sorting me through the maze of making my old bicycles work in the modern era! Tires for example, I have a very nice Campagnolo wheelset from 2010 that are not tubeless, nor tubeless ready. Getting new tires, hence mounting up modern tires has a challenge. After several attempts to install a tire myself (Ive done this millions of times!), I returned to the shop to have them give it a go. Tire was not able to go onto the rim, even though it was the exact make and model tires that was just removed. They took the time to try several different tires and finally arrived and a suitable solution that I am also happy with! Its the little things in life & I LOVE THIS SHOP!

I called first and the person on the phone was a good spirited man who had a sense of humor or and a lot of knowledge. When I went into the store, I spoke with Chris. Chris told me everything and more about my bike and what it needed. I was told I could pick it up Tuesday and I got a call this morning that it was ready a day early. When I went to pick it up, Chris helped me promptly and professionally and answered the next round of questions I threw at him. I felt like they wanted my business and was treated as such. I have to disagree with the poster that disliked the customer service. I called Jason almost a year ago with a question on kids road bikes. He never pressured me into buying anything, and in fact did some research and called me back promptly. Since then, Ive used Pedals exclusively for all my bike service work (wife and two kids, road and mountain = a lot of bikes). Ive even joined the Wednesday night shop rides for the past 6 months. I have had nothing but good experiences with this shop and I do not hesitate to recommend it to friends and family.

Im only in Riverside for 6 mo. Based on the great reviews, I went there looking for a 6-mo. lease or something. Jason, the owner, said hed sell me a bike for about $270, & buy it back for $75-125. Not bad, I guess, but I was hoping for a better deal, so I asked him to let me know if a suitable used bike came in. On a Sat. he contacted me about a great-sounding deal, for $100 that he would buy back for $50. He said that it was old, but it would be all fixed up & work perfectly. On Tue. I told him Id be in on Thurs. to get it. He said great. Cash only with no receipt. Hmm, a little shady. I left work early to take the bus to his shop (I dont have a car here), dressed in bike shorts, carrying my helmet, with my $100 in hand. When I got there, it looked like a nice bike. He said the front shifter didnt work, the rear one might go any time, the rear tire was very low (possibly leaking) as he hadnt checked it, & that if he had to replace the shifters with modern ones instead of old ones kicking around the shop, hed have to charge me more than $100. And of course the bike would not be ready that day. I told him to call me about what the new price would be, & that I would come back on Saturday (today). However, Ive changed my mind. Ive been shabbily treated. The bus round trip is about 1.5 hrs. He never contacted me to tell me the bike was not as expected, or to tell me it wasnt ready as promised. I dont know if I trust him to buy it back in 6 mo. Im not doing business with this guy.

I dont believe this bike shop is commited to your experience unless youre as hip as the guy behind the counter with the bad attitude. And if youre like me, he will help you, but he will also let you know what a big inconvenience it is, and if you offer a critique on the customer service you will be summarily banished from the store, even though you may be the only customer within miles. Again, if you are hip like the guy behind the counter, and your standards of customer service are low, than you should be fine.

Then upon my return tried to sell me a chain breaker instead of the new correct chain. Was overall just trying to sell more and more. Went to cycle usa off tyler. Stopped by this shop to see if they could chase some threads on a bottom bracketwith a tool I couldnt afford ($500). As a experienced mechanic I know it would take all ofone minute to do. The mechanic was all set to do it when the owner came in and said I would have to leave it because he didnt have time to do it. I t would have taken longer to write up the invoice for me to leave the part than to just do the job. I walked out of the shop and went down the street to another bike shop and they did it right on the spot for $20 for two minutes of work.I own 18 bicycles, ride daily and spend thousands a year on bikes and parts. Dont buy in Pedals Bike Shop! They are mean. I went 20 minutes before than they close the shop. 6.10 PM. I had a flat tire. They usually fix it in 5 minutes, maximum 10. It was my 3rd time there. They told me let the wheel and tomorrow come back. I told him I had to drive 20 minutes. So I was going to lose 40 minutes and money in gas. I told him than in internet the horary is until 6.30 PM. I told him I wanted to speak with the boss about it and another person went out telling me he is the boss. He told me go out of my shop, Im the owner, in america ...bla bla bla I didnt understand very well because my english is not the best. He was not nice. I think he was not the boss and if he was I didnt know any boss who treat to the customers like that. He loses a present and a future customer, he loses money. But maybe he was a worker. The bosses usually want to earn money in their business and are nicer with the customers. So he told me finally I can buy the replacement. Now I say .. like you told me, we are in America ... I can opine the mean that I was treated there. I hope the real boss read this. Bad people, bad bussines, bad customer care .
