Not an ounce of work ethic in the whole store. Went in looking for box fans. Asked 3 separate associates. Got 3 of the same answers. They all said aisle 3. I kept explaining that there were non on aisle 3 and that online said they had 67 of them in stock. After that they would shrug their shoulders and walk away. Its like the only work they do is achieving greater levels of laziness
I’ve shopped at this Home Depot over 100 times. They are always great. The staff has been helpful, and best of all their app can help you find whatever you need without asking anyone. Great work Home Depot, keep it up.
They didn’t have what I wanted but a rare thing happened. An employee asked if I was finding what I needed an he meant it. He took me to the items on hand. I made a choice and thanked him but then realized I needed a different item. The same employee again stopped what he was doing and helped me decide on a solution. This is quite different from the norm😀
Today I needed help with doors, after waiting for a little while, Kristina interrupted her lunch to come and help me since she heard the lady at front asking a couple of times for help in the door department. As soon as I found out she stopped her lunch to help me. I tried to convince her to go back (she never did). She stayed with me, genuinely helped me, she measured doors, showed me trims and even asked me more questions about my project at home. I had a very pleasant conversation with her, she even invited me back during her shift the next day to help me more. What a great experience! I will definitely continue to choose Home Depot again and again. Thank you Kristina, we need more people like you!
I have only once gone and not been able to find what I needed. The staff is always knowledgeable and willing to walk me to the area of interest. The cashier staff are also pleasant and helpful.
I wish I could give zero stars. We bought close to $6000 worth of appliances and had a scheduled delivery in two weeks for Monday. Monday morning I got a call saying the driver is on the way with the delivery. I told them that I am at home and waiting. After one hour i get a notice through the system that my delivery is missed and will be rescheduled. I bought all my produce and was waiting for the fridge. I called the customer service and was told that the driver came and no one was at home and that they have a proof: a picture of my black door. I was appalled since i was waiting at home all the time and moreover, my door is not black but white. I said that this is not true and that the driver is lying. I was told that their drivers never lie and that the earliest new delivery is Wednesday only. I was so frustrated and angry at that point. I said I have meat and other perishable items that i need to put into the fridge asap. In response to this I was told to get ice and keep my produce in ice until Wednesday. Despite being at fault for not delivering appliances as scheduled, they did not offer to remedy the situation. I was so upset. I told them that i will cancel the entire order and they said: yes, fine. This is what i did and went and purchased everything at RC Willey and actually saved money and got everything delivered that day. HomeDepot lost my business and customer forever. Worst worst customer service.
I never had a problem with home depot, every location in Salt Lake I have visited have excellent customer service and really helpful when yoy need them.
Checkout was so backed up @ 11 a.m. on a Mon. that I left items and left store!This seems like poor resource mngmnt not realizing significance of customers time!Tells me this location is not user friendly.The herders trying to tell us get in line, should have better spent his time maning a cash register.
Everything was great except for one thing. I asked for help to find something and the one person I asked immediately assumed that they didnt carry what I was looking for. So I looked it up on their website and it said that they had them in stock and told me where in the store they were. Then I talked to a couple other people who worked there and they were very helpful. The one was not.

My husband and I ordered a fence for our yard. We were never given a delivery date and asked that they call us before delivering the material. We got an email today saying the materials were delivered, but they were not. Not something you can miss. The address we gave them is correct. Apparently, they just deliver large expensive orders without getting a signature, and they dont even try to knock to make sure they are delivering material to the right address. THIS HAS BEEN HORRIBLE SERVICE!! Do not order materials for large projects from Home Depot, they will always find a way to mess it up.

Absolutely worst experience ordering from this location. I ordered a dresser unit online that was delivered timely. Turns out, this thing weighed very heavy, and they left the box damaged and sitting outside my garage at 8PM at night. If I wasn’t a big guy, there would have been absolutely no way it would have been brought in our home. There was also no option given for in-home delivery. Strike 1. I then began assembling the unit, until I realized the instructions were clearly incorrect and poorly drawn up (images flipped left and right, blatantly incorrect instructions, wrong screw placement in the instructions, etc.). Strike 2. I finally realized Home Depot needed to come assemble this since it would be impossible for me to based on the trash instructions (I have assembled many, many furniture pieces so I knew it wasn’t just me). I called this location only to find out not only do they no longer have anyone to come assemble it as advertised online, but that they would do nothing to rectify the situation. Strike 3. Now I have a partially assembled dresser sitting in my bedroom with no way of completing it. First bad review I’ve ever felt like I needed to write. Thanks Home Depot Riverton! Shopping at nearby Lowe’s from now on.

Everytime I come to visit my folks I shop here because they are always so helpful. Today a very nice man greeted me with a friendly smile and gave my little boy a sucker. Even big stores can have great customer service!
Came here to get my son a birthday present, he wanted a power washer, I found a great one, with a great price, my husband has an account here, we love it, and recommend it, their employees are always great, and help you with whatever you need, also help you find what youre looking for
Knowing what you need and where it is located is always a plus when running into the HD for one or two things.I dont always ask for help at the HD but when I do I like to ask Joni in the kitchen design area! She is friendly and helpful!

Yolanda should be fired. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE unless you want Terrible communication and loss of $$. $5000 later I realize, Worst experience possible. We bought carpet and wood from them. They installed the wrong color of carpet AND pattern. They gave us a pallet initially that only showed one pattern of carpet that we assumed we were getting. (they outsource/contract their installers with a third party on all projects, who you can’t communicate with to tell them they installed the wrong carpet.) I called Home Depot several times and they told me I’d have to come into the actual store to tell them what happened. I go in and they give me a new pallet now with the pattern that was actually installed. A lady in flooring tells me to speak to Yolanda, who then asks for pictures of the carpet to be sent to her personal phone and I have a brief conversation with over the phone through her work phone where she then says,” I will give you a call tomorrow” and have someone above her let her know whether or not they can replace the carpet. Fast forward 1wk later. I have not heard from anyone and they are trying to Install wood that’s not going to match my carpet. Not only that, but now we have to pay a 20% restocking fee if we don’t want the wood.
Bought cabinets from these guys a month ago and the people making them are still havent called us to let us know when they will be delivered. Very annoying

They have what I need, they have friendly and respectful employees, and 99% of the time I visit 4-5 times a week as I am a Local Handyman, “Handymanhudson” They have what I need when I need it ! Love Home Depot and the prices fit my ideal budget and so also why I nicknamed them Home Cheapo!! Lol

Customer service is very poor at this store! We purchased a wash station and the delivery was damaged upon receipt. You have 48 hours to report the damage and after going through a run around and being hung up on several times and given wrong numbers to report the damage,I decided to call the manufacturer directly. I received zero help from Homedepot what so ever on this 2600.00 purchase! The poor guy in the appliance department is all alone and needs some assistance especially if you are running a sale! Get it together Homedepot!!!!
As a contractor I spend a lot of time in hardware stores, today 8-31-18 I purchased a pallet of dry cement mix and had to wait between 15-20 minutes for it to get loaded. The cashiers (carol and Alma) were diligent in trying to get the forklift there to get me loaded. After about 15 minutes even offered me a complementary snack for having to wait. Even though it was beyond their control they were very apologetic. This is the reason I continue to shop at the Home Depot. There are other stores closer to my job site that stock cement bags. But Home Depot stores and their employees continually treat me like I matter. No one asked for me phone number to verify who I was so I don’t believe I was getting special treatment for being a contractor. From what I see they treat all their customers the same. I understand that problems arise especially in areas of logistics when stores of their size have to meet the specific needs of many many customers. It’s how they handled it that will keep me coming back. Thanks ladies (cashiers) for a good start to a great day.

Just to make you guys aware, when someone is building something out of wood they would probably prefer it to be straight, not crooked, and not warped, and also that it not look like it’s been chewed up by a bear before putting it on your floor. Also making it so that people can only go in one side of your isles, doesn’t create social distancing, it bottlenecks everyone into one tiny spot!
Customers are not welcome here. Asked a employee if they knew how could help me get some plywood cut. They said they could then walked away. The other person with him helped but was very put out to help. I asked if we should come back another time but he said it was okay i guess. This person did not want to help us understand how much to add to our measurement to help us complete this job. He stood there with a upset face like we had ruined his weekend. If you don’t want to help people don’t work at Home Depot.

On 4/13/21 at about 6 or 7 pm. I had real urgency to purchase one of their trailers. While I also had timelines to meet. Went to the customer service desk there and the associate was really trying to help. He called his management but no one answered the first time. So we understood how the retail customer service business works and we moved to the side so he could help other customers. He tried to call again and no picked up the phone. He needed keys so he could remove the boot from the trailer so he could get the sale process started. He tried his manager again and no one answered. So we stayed there for roughly 35min cause I really needed this trailer. I missed my deadline and like they say time is money and I lost money because of the time I spent waiting for a manager than never got back to him. They also didn’t have the title ready, the whole process was flawed. I let him know that I had to leave. I tried calling back and he stated “my manager hasn’t called back let me try him while your on the phone.” A couple moments later he informed me his managers phone was off. I feel this was completely negligent customer service. I will never bring my business here again. I am a manager for Napa Auto parts my self and know exactly what word of mouth can do. It drives sales down and when a person does go it was by force. Customers always have the same saying “I will now take my business elsewhere and will never come back here.” Should any one ask me about this place I will now let them know what happened to me and what can happen to them. The product I was looking to purchase was over 1000$. This is usually a big sale and I would think some one would like to catch this sale. I feel I’ve inconvenienced them more get them a big sale.

I always enjoy coming here! The staff is friendly, and extremely helpful, and their selection of tools is quite vast. Being a craftsman/handyman, I also come here for all manner of items ranging from screws, building materials, and home repair products. Needless to say, I rarely leave here empty handed.
The employees here are knowledgable and want to help you with your projects. They give detailed help and have good opinions on what parts, tools, and other stuff you might need. I saved a lot of money talking to someone here. Responsive and helpful. Large selection of supplies and tools for home improvement. Location is good and clean facilities. I wish there was more options as far as lumber, but I had a hardwood specific project I was working on and they gave me a place to get it. Wheelchair accessible. They have a pickup spot if you need, and all in all a great home depot

Wow is their customer service terrible! I normally love home depot but this location is awful. I went in today and had a question about a product and just got the run around. I spoke to 6 different people and they each sent me to someone else. I spent almost an hour trying to find the answer to my question. The part that upset me is that all but one didnt even want to help me.

Organized and great layout. Stock is great.The only issue I have with this location is with the returns area. The staff isn’t as friendly as the other staff in the store and often very slow.

Its a big box hardware store. Not much you can really expect above average here. Seems like any retail store, when youre looking for something specific, you never get approached by an employee, especially for cheaper stuff. The last two times Ive gone here were to find replacement bulbs. The last time, never got any help but realized there was only one of what I needed, but I needed two. I still grabbed one, since it was better than nothing, but stock is always a bit scarce here.Still, at usual, dont take a 3 Star to necessarily mean bad. Its just nothing great.

What did we do before this store opened. Today they had plenty of clerks to help us. The garden section has a huge offering . That’s what we came for were plants. Their plants grow fast and never have a big problem. The prices are right!

For the first time since moving to Riverton in 2013, I am not happy. Considering that Lowes is about the same distance and has better customer service hours than Home Depot, why should we continue business with you?My issue is custom blinds that I ordered that show up with the cords cut. 3 of 4 orders were perfect. I have more rooms to do and I cant get help?Look at your hours, even has a type-o. I believe they should read 6AM to 2PM EST but that translates to 4AM to 12PM MST and even worse if you are PST or Hawaii.Thanks for offering the callback. Hope it is when I am awake. Once this is fixed I know who earned my business.I called yesterday after 12PM MST, they said they were closed. Today it is over an hour wait, asked for a callback, at 12:27PM, no callback. I bet they call at 4-8AM MST tomorrow.FYI, the order says to NOT return the items to the store. Great service. I will spread the word, you earned it.Took over a week of several attempts to get a callback. Right in the middle of our weekly team meeting. Had to excuse myself because no way was I missing this. Had to send pictures. They reordered the blinds after I explained why they could not be installed. They charged me again and refunded the money later. Nothing like being charged twice before a refund for something that wasnt your fault.I would not bother with Home Depot. Im done once this is fixed. It should be a couple of more weeks. About a month total when this custom blind ordeal started.

Love Home Depot! My husband and I have been slowly remodeling our home over the years and Home Depot is our go-to spot. Lowes is ok but their staff is no where near as knowledgeable as the Depot. Good selection and prices.

This is one of their large stores, so it has most anything that you could want. Generally speaking the staff are very friendly, and Ive had particularly good luck in electrical and plumbing.
