Just wanted to give a shout out to Randy for doing a outstanding job with helping my 85 year old mother with unlocking her iPhone and getting her all set up. I do not leave near her and not being able to get in her phone was very over whelming to her and Randy has the patience of the best service anyone could of provided. Worst customer service I have every experienced. Waited at the appliances area trying to work out where I can just pick up the washer and dryer I ordered in august instead of delivery. (First washer dryer set was put on back order, informed 3 days before delivery. Was put on hold then hung up on the phone call side) ( returned the first set through the store and purchased different ones, informed the day of the delivery they did not have a tech available, and the next available appointment wouldn’t be for 2 more weeks)I went in the store tonight and I waited at the appliance desk for over an hour. They had 2 employees working with one customer, at one point there was a total of 4 employees. Not one employee greeted me to inform me I needed to go to customer service for my transaction. Was told I needed to wait in the customer service line after waiting for over an hour. I ended up returning the order. I’m very disappointed with many parts of my ordeal. I hope that the customer service improves.

DO NOT USE BEST BUYS ONLINE RETAIL! I’d love to tell everyone not to use Best Buy at all but please avoid their online. I wish I had read all these comments before I lost $1,000 to Best Buy’s internal theft. They will sell you items they don’t have and tell you they can’t refund your money and the only option you are left with is to call your bank and dispute the charges. Best Buy is committing fraud and I doubt it will be long before they are bankrupt.

I came here last week in desperate need of a new phone because I was on vacation and I couldnt get back home without it being that all my information was on my phone. After searching various best buys and Verizon stores for the Samsung galaxy s21 this location had it in stock. Zoe was so lovely and helped me every step of the way and even helped me upgrade with my carrier company. The service was top notch and everyone was so polite and nice, I definitely recommend.

Dont bother doing online pick-up. Just go inside and get it. Thing said 3 minute wait. After 8 minutes of waiting (on my lunch break) I went inside. I was greeted by two guys up front at LP, who were talking to each other, and walked over to pick-up. Then one of those guys walked over to the pick-up counter to help me. So basically, from my perspective, this guy was supposed to he handling the pick-ups but was wasting time socializing with the LP rep. Again, just go inside.

Pretty big Best Buy in comparison to mine back home. Nothing overtly wrong with this location, they just didnt have enough variety to have exactly what I needed. They did however have a good ammount of product displays which is always appreciated. Makes it worth the trip just to get hands on with potential future tech purchases.

Hello, to whom it my concern. I recently visited the Roanoke Virginia Best Buy store to inquire on a transaction that was showing up on my Best Buy Credit Card Statement which was showing it was purchased at the Roanoke Best Buy store location. I spoke with Courtney Bernardo (she is the Assistant Store Manager). Avoid working with her at all cost!! She is the rudest, most unkind person that I have ever attempted to work with at any Best Buy. The Assistant Store Manager will belittle you, make you feel stupid and never give you any answer upfront on what the concern you present. When trying to work with Courtney, she spoke over me and then blames me for speaking over her, when I addressed this she threatened to have me removed from the store. I work in customer service and am willing to give a lot of grace when it comes to customer service. But my experience with Courtney was inexcusable. She was pushy, argumentative and overall could not care less about my concern. This Assistant Store Manager threatened to have me escorted out of the store again for simply asking for the store manager or another manager to check and ensure that what she was sharing was right. I will never shop at The Roanoke Store ever gain and I advise against shopping at this store too until Courtney is removed from their management team. The General Store Manager just quit, if he had to work with Courtney on a daily basis, I do not Blame him, on that reason alone. I visited the store the next day and spoke with a general associate (Bobby) who was able to explain to me what was taking place and where the transaction came from. Even though my concern was addressed and resolved by a follow up visit to the store, my experience with the Assistant Store manager was shocking and completely and utterly destroyed my relationship with the Roanoke VA location. I have been a longtime loyal customer to this store and have spent well over $10,000 at this store alone over the past few years and have friends/family who have spent well over $30,000 at this one location over 1year. I am contacting corporate and the district manager to discuss the issue further and ensure proper disciplinary action is taken to ensure Courtney knows that has to treat every customer the way she wants to be treated and not like a waste of time that she does it even want to try and resolve the issue for and will have you escorted out of the store for simplest of request. Not happy Best Buy, not happy.

If you need anything OTHER than car audio they are the place to go to. Back a couple years to 5 years ago I would have have this store a 5 star rating because you could get just about everything(appliance,computer,car stereo, home theater system, cell phones as well service for them, and best of all you had an awesome team that worked for the GEEK SQUAD) but since just about every car stereo system company or store that was in the area went out of business because of here lately the coronavirus everything has gone to on line. I mean... its a Best Buy. Most are at the Circuit City circa 2004 stage of their life and usefulness. Every single one has this weird, uncomfortable lighting. Accessories like cables and other peripherals are usually hard to find. I dont believe anyone actually wants to be there and how can you blame them. In the end, I suppose if you want to take advantage of the big box price and availability as well as X months of interest free financing with a Best Buy credit card then do your thing. Also, this location closes at 7, kinda early in my opinion but what does that really matter, right?

Then I asked if they had a cover and keyboard for it and was told that they were out because people dont really buy samsung stuff because they dont like it....probably not the best thing to say to a customer there to buy one. Lot of empty shelves, most staff are third party vendors who can only help with their products. Unless you need it today, Id wait the extra day for prime shipping and hit up amazon.

I recently purchased an open box product, which has a label stating that there are No Missing Accessories, only to open the sealed box to discover a missing users manual, and most importantly, the power cord which is essential.I have tried calling the store at their Valley View location only to get a message saying that the store is not taking incoming calls. Good TV, my Westinghouse Roku works well. Dakotah T. from Best Buy in Roanoke VA assisted me in looking for a TV that was inexpensive and works well. I asked Dakotah if he would assist me in comparing this TV with the others they had on the floor. He found me a TV that met my needs. The assistance that I received while in the store was great and in this regard I give Dakotah and the store 5 stars for their excellent customer service.Now in regards to setting up the TV I have to give it 3 stars. The set up brochure nor was the Best Buy website thorough enough in explaining the set up steps to connect my TV to my cable. Even the Best Buy tech support person said (after spending over an hour waiting to speak to a Best Buy representative) that the instructions β€œwere underwhelming”. I eventually got the TV connected to my cable. So again in regards to the store customer service and the tech support I give 5 stars, but in regards to the set up instructions in the brochure and Best Buy’s website instructions I give this 3 stars. I have been a customer for 25 years in 3 different states. The Roanoke location for the most part has been a great place to shop. I recently had an experience there that I have to share in hopes that it helps someone understand how little this location cares about their customers.I purchased a new Samsung S21 5G phone in February. They altered my Verizon account ( took me off of paperless billing and automatic payments) which resulted in my bill increasing over $150.00 per month. I have no idea how they were able to accomplish this but the fact remains that they did. I returned there to inquire about how this happened and how to fix it and was met with denial. I had my bill in hand, and was again met with denial and a lack of a solution. The manager, MATTHEW CALDWELL was nice at first but became very pompous and refused fault. I had to contact Verizon Wireless to reverse the changes made to my account.The phone started acting weird a few weeks after the purchase, needing to be restarted several times a day, losing Bluetooth connections, randomly shutting off, and so on. Finally while using the phone for a call, the phone became very hot, the battery had gone from 80+ % to 15% charge in a matter of minutes. I returned to Roanoke Best Buy to explain the problems, again at first they were nice but since I didnt purchase the GEEK SQUAD warranty they told me I had to deal directly with Samsung.I have serious medical conditions that require me to have reliable communications at ALL times. I explained this and was treated with a complete, and utter we dont care attitude. The Manager again was MATTHEW CALDWELL refused to provide me with a business card or even the use of a pen to write down his name, or the phone # for Samsung customer service.I went to the Verizon Wireless store around the corner (where I did NOT purchase the phone) and was provided a solution where I would receive a new phone at no cost in two days and a prepaid return envelope to return the defective phone. Problem solvedMatthew Caldwell is NOT management material. He does not care about customers or have a clue how to treat the people who provide him with an income.I destroyed my Best Buy card in front of him and vowed to never return again.Over the last 25 years I have purchased dozens of computers, cameras, appliances, games, and movies. NO MORE, Best Buy has lost a loyal customer due to the actions, and inactions of MATTHEW CALDWELL.
