I went to Michaels for card stock and embellishments. I also found a nice acrylic paint set that was a bargain price. They have good quality products. The prices were a bit high though. I love Michaels but wish for A. C. Moore was still here or a Hobby Lobby would come to Roanoke. Seems Michaels pricing and sales were better when it had good competition. I was looking for farm animals like sheep, lambs, cows calves, they had none ( unless I was in grade school) otherwise I had a good trip, and ab employee named Jim, was a great help to me. He patiently walked me through to where everything I needed was and pushed a cart for me, as I am handicapped and was pushing my walker. I think he deserves 5 stars 🌟 thanks Michaels for hiring this wonderful man, and recognizing value in your hiring this valuable employee.

I use same day delivery and ordering supplies for my business can sometimes be a challenge. Im so impressed with the persoal touch by the manager here. Kim went out of her way to take care of my orders and problem solve for me. Its rare to find this nowadays especially with larger stores. I use Michaels for everything now bc I have that assurance that they care and remember who I am with each order. Such a good store with great supplies and stellar Management.

The employees are all very kind, pleasant, friendly & helpful. Im excited to see that this store is improving its inventory. It was OK before but it lacked verity & selection. Now its like the store has started to wake up again & it wants to create with you. Lol thanks for making my Michaels worth keeping my Michaels

Not helpful. Sold a defective product and refused to exchange, find a replacement or help look up any information. Simply did not care that I purchased a Michaels item with rubberized paint pots. Refused any kind of resolution.

Possibly the best Michaels experience we ever had! My wife was stocking for an art class she was taking and the person working the custom frame section literally walked her around to find the laundry list of paints and canvases she needed. Literally saved us an hour of wandering. I cannot recommend this place enough! Go directly here. Do not pass go....

I love Michaels but, I was not able to find anything I needed for my fall flower arranging needs....I guess I waited too late.

Great staff, clean store, week stocked. I like to shop here with the wife, string the week. Most of the time its in and out. Occasionally there is a line for the register, but once the cashier looks up and notices it, they call for reinforcements. As in any retail business, the best, and easiest way to control expense is the payroll. Less people, less payroll, more profit. They need at least 7 more associates in the store.

I love Michaels! I get most of my art supplies there.

Undoubtedly the best craft store in the Valley View area, with great selection and prices! I come here to get inspired. Home decor section never disappoints. Friendly staff, GREAT sales (look online for coupons,) and best selection of beads and pendants in town!

I picked up Curbside. I didnt experience a long wait which is always a plus. The associate who brought my items to my car was very kind and polite. This has been my experience every time Ive visited here.

I am a great fan of Michaels. They have everything in the way of merchandise for all kinds of hobbies and decorating, things I didnt even realize existed. Im glad there is a new Michaels up closer to me in Tanglewood!! That may be a good sign for salvaging that whole shopping center . Always enjoy browsing, and buying of course, at Michaels. Karen S.

Didnt find what I was looking for but didnt really expect to - thought it was worth a try.On the other hand, I could have easily spent a couple hours looking at things I didnt really need and probably buying them!Lots of entertaining things to find there if youre into crafts or art.

The frame selection and the framing department at the valley view Michaels is extraordinary.

I think i liked the old store better, but they have done a good job here as well. Id be willing to pay more for many of their products if they would source from someplace other than China. Staff is always helpful and friendly.

I was so excited to see a live stream video on Facebook because I discovered that Michaels now has acrylic paint pouring medium! I had been wanting to try this, and voila!!! PS: This store is NEW and in much better shape than the place they were located. It is well stocked and organized in a way that makes sense.

Lots of fun searching for bargains!!! We bought things from art supplies (canvases & acrylics) to yarn & needles to such adorable scrap book items! Plenty of open registers for quick checkout

I really like this place. I use to shop at AC Moore all the time (because it was more convenient), however since they closed I have started shopping at Michaels. The employees are very helpful. I called them last night to see if the ribbon I wanted was in stock. Was told they had it at the store, I asked them if they could hold it for me until today and they said no problem. Really appreciated their help.

I just love to go to Michaels. I can usually find what I need. Ive found different pieces to help in fabricating a halloween costume. The staff at the one, here in Roanoke, is pretty knowledgeable with crafting of all sorts and they are helpful and friendly.

So I just called customer service to get help because a canvas i purchased was ripped. They said that because it was a pack of 6 they would not replace the item. If it had been half of them damaged or more only then would they have replaced or refunded. I offered to buy the whole pack (of 6) for a discounted price (of 5) to make up for the 1 damaged one and they said they couldnt do that. I said so basically I just get a damaged item and deal with it and he said yes. As much as I order from michaels they should be trying to keep my business! Instead they make me feel like they dont care about me receiving damaged items.

Always seem to be out of stock of things needed. Reluctantly ordered online and still havent received my order after 10 days. When contacting customer support the representative like many telephone representatives had a foreign accent and spoke broken english told mutiple lies and after informing me she would refund the shipping charges immediately she place me on hold for 10 mins and then came back to inform me that she could not, but would email me a $10 gift card and when the email came the gift card was for only $6. Still never received any information as to when I should expect my order.

Store was pretty well organized with not much clutter but prices are kind of high.

We shop here often. Typically have the items we need for our projects. Friendly, helpful service. Clean and well maintained store. The routine 40% off coupons are a bonus. We always find what we need and save money at the same time... we recommend..

Went in, looked around didnt find what we needed to do but asked at the framing department if they could mount some photos and was very happy that they can do what we need.

Love their merchandise but lord theyre expensive! Some things I cant find anywhere else and have to buy from there. Makes me wants to go elsewhere.

Sales staff followed me around every corner, asking me if I was finding everything okay? I felt profiled...

Great Michaels with a lot of selection. The store is always clean and organized. They do not have a large clearance section like their old location did; however, the last time I was there they did have a very small clearance section in an aisle on the right side of the store. The only con of this particular store is their new location; the shopping center that they are located in can be tricky to get in and out of during the holiday season.

Today was a day of browsing. Didnt see anything that I needed.
