Always well stocked, competitive prices, and knowledgeable staff. The only reason I took one star away is because there doesnt appear to be enough staff and I had to wait a significant amount of time to get my question answered. Other than that, no complaints.

Order a new phone here. Felt like the staff in the phone area didnt want to assist much. When I order my phone nothing was told about having to schedule an appointment with geek squid just to get stuff transferred to the new phone . Was told when ordering they could do it when it arrives, but when the phone arrived for pick up was told otherwise. Staff said it would take too long for them to do in store and should of scheduled instead. Asked for help to active in store as well but was told oh its super easy you can do it at home, just plug in the new Sim and it will shut off your old sim. Came home and tried and Sim did not work..... had to go into att and they said the Sim provided wasnt properly scanned or activated at all. Had to get a new Sim from att and it worked.

Scheduling service was easy. Unfortunately getting it done is not - four days since I took my desktop in and still not done. They’ve provided no updates or any other information. Calling is useless because calls go to a national “service” center and they only have access to the same tracking info online that I do. I will never again take anything to Geek Squad for repairs.

Best Buy always carries the latest gadgets and technology. The employees at this store are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about all the items they carry. Every time I visit I am always offered a helpful hand and directed to anything I need or maybe thinking about buying. This store is an A+ in my book if I’m not buying items online.

Waited a month for radio and speakers installed was late because an accident hit on a electric pole could not make it on time tried to call but it went to a automatically phone machine drove 40 miles to get there and was told instead of calling me they call someone else to make my appointment but they did return my money in full. So a customer can wait 30 days but best buy cant call or wait over 15 minutes company policy. I want shop at the Rochester area again

Best Buy used to be this store where you went to be wowed by things that you couldnt find elsewhere.I went in to look at phones and half the ones I looked at were dummy display models. If I just want the specs, Ill shop online. If I go in it is because I want to try the product and I dont get that if it isnt a working version.

I bought a computer there. The person who helped me was in training but the trainer was not there to help. Luckily I knew what I wanted. And the guy doing the training needs to handle his BO. Not very professional in my opinion.

Customer service is definitely improving. The selection of media is absolutely terrible. Less than 100 different movie titles. No game systems in store. Less than half the stock of video games filling the shelves. Maybe 15 different CD titles with a total of 25 CDs. Most any media wanted needs to be ordered from the web page and then get charged for shipping if it if below X dollar amount.This is far from the Best Buy I grew up with. We want the old style of best buy back, not where we have to hope its in stock. When I goto the store to buy something I do not like being told that it could be bought from their website.

Went in for a cell phone case and screen protector for my new phone. There were only 2 cases to chose from for model of phone I have. I was kinda bummed and spent a little more than I wanted to. The gentleman who helped me out was really nice and gave me info on going online a buying a case that way but I didnt want to wait.

Excellent experience! Went to the Apple center and was helped by two gentlemen, Scott Atkinson and Muhammed (last name unknown). Both listened to my questions and concerns and stayed with me during the entire buying process to ensure I got exactly what I need. Very knowledgeable and professional. Give these two a promotion or a raise, they both deserve it!

If not for the credit card that I have with Best Buy I would not have purchased the dishwasher that I ended up buying from them. The shopping experience was underwhelming in every way possible. The Best buy sales representative had little knowledge of the dishwashers and a great deal of difficulty even looking up the details on their website. A second sales representative stepped in and provided a bit more useful help, but it was pretty poor service overall. As I already said, I did end up purchasing a whirlpool dishwasher because it was an open box item and the price was excellent for the tiny bit of damage it had. The fun doesnt end there though, the delivery was scheduled for a Wednesday, and the day and evening came and went without even a phone call from Best buy with no delivery. so, I tried calling them the next day and spent 30 minutes on hold before giving up on the phone call. I then drove to the store and found very little activity, which was odd because with no one answering the phone I assumed the store would be crazy busy, but it wasnt. No idea why they were unable to answer the phone. I finally found a representative who explained to me that the third party delivery service that Best buy has outsourced their deliveries to had a truck breakdown the day of the delivery. I suppose a truck breaking down is a valid excuse and I could have lived with that happily if they had called, but they did not. The delivery has been rescheduled, and trust me I will not be holding my breath that day for the delivery. I wish I could say I was surprised that they did not offer me some sort of compensation for the inconvenience, but I know that businesses dont do that kind of thing anymore. its really unfortunate, because there was a time when a retail business would have recognized their error and offered something to the inconvenienced customer. Oh for the good old days! This entire experience was really bad overall!!

On January 28th me and wife ordered a new fridge, dishwasher, oven, and microwave. However 2 days til my scheduled delivery of April 3rd I get a call that I need to reschedule.....we have already been waiting more than 2 months. Completely unacceptable and when we called bestbuy we were met with terrible customer service and when asking for a supervisor we were told it could be more than a day, and we Called the local number. I am a bestbuy elite plus member for the past few years and have shopped here for all my needs. Now this will be the last time after this I will have to start shopping somewhere else because of the lack luster customer.

I went there today with a broken iPhone 11 - wouldn’t read any SIM cards - and Odong was very polite and understanding. He took a few minutes out of his day to try to fix my issue instead of having me make an appointment for next week. He was able to fix my issue on the spot and sent me home with no trouble! Unfortunately the same issue occurred and I’ll have to return my phone under Apple’s warranty, but, I wanted to highlight what a great employee he was to us today. You just don’t find people that helpful as often anymore!

Today is Sunday. Employees literally standing around not helping anyone in mobile. I need to replace my phone, but was told i needed an appointment and the earliest was Tuesday or Thursday. I guess best buy would rather pay employees to do nothing than to help a customer in front of them.

Horrible. I tried to call the store for a warranty issue, I sat on hold for 35 min then 45, no one picked up. Then called customer service corporate I got disconnected, apparently they struggle with the hold button, which in total took 5 hrs of my time to tell me I had to call HP. They didnt even try to trouble shoot it, told me I needed a new printer. HP Gets on and less than a hour they solved the problem. I highly doubt I will buy from Best Buy again. Customer service is HORRIBLE. By the way, I didnt need a new printer and your tech guys could have solved this.

Best Buy cashier allowed someone to use a credit card number without a physical card or ID for. $1279 purchase on my card and Best Buy has protection on their purchase where your financial institutions cannot charge them back on fraud cases (mine tried) . So I get to eat the $1279 because big corporation is going to fight to the end even though it was their negligence on their part and their cashier and purchase process!!! Shame on you Best Buy you make it easy for criminals and you take no responsibility for your own negligence.

Ordered an item online for same day pick up, good deal on the item on sale, promptly received an email confirmation it was ready to pick up. After work I ran into the store to pick it up and arrived at 6:10 pm only to find they have changed their hours of operation and closed at 6 pm. Knowing theyve been open much later in the past I double checked the emailed pick up confirmation to see if there was anything about the changed times on the notification. There isnt. It does say something about making sure they are open, which I could have checked by taking another step, but I guess I thought a cutting edge technology company would be able to put something like the store hours for where I ordered the product on the receipt. Doesnt seem very customer focused and it was disappointing for sure.

Unfortunately I can usually find what I’m looking for cheaper on Amazon, but Best Buy is great in a pinch. The employees here are always super friendly and helpful. I’ve had to use the services of the Geek Squad a few times and they’ve always been happy to help me figure out whatever issue I’ve got going. This location has a decent selection of products and I can usually find exactly what I’m looking for. Like I said the prices are a little high but it can be worth it to have the in person help from their knowledgeable employees.
