IDE Honda was the car dealer we went to, where we ultimately made a quick deal. Doug McCarthy did an excellent job!*They provide helpful suggestions to help. For example, you can put up to $1000 of the (down)payment on a credit card to earn points. (While not a huge money-savings spot, it wasnt something we would have thought to ask and we appreciated the strategy that helped us.*They have the fairest pricing that weve seen for new cars - For example, Garber Honda started negotiations at $2k over MSRP. IDE Honda made the negotiation quick and fair for both groups, plus a good trade-in deal for our used car.*Our salesperson (Doug) was very friendly, helpful, and did a great job equally presenting car options to let us make the best decision for what we needed (including the pros/cons of different options and where we could save money).

Brought my car in for a recall and the installation of two drive shafts under recall. The mechanic installed one of the shafts and tore the boot which caused the fluid leak. Since I am a courier if I am not driving I am not making money. I called and talked to the mechanic who installed the drive shaft and explained my situation. She was not in the least bit empathetic but instead very defensive. Because I depend on my vehicle for my livelihood I told her that I thought she owed it to me to fix it that day. She would not. Beyond that I dont give high marks and as far as her customer relationship skills are concerned. My wife and I bought two cars from the so-called Ide family. We will not be buying a third

Only three months after I purchased a brand new Honda CR-V EX 2021 it shut down. I couldn’t start the engine. The car drove fine only few hours before. I couldn’t manage to get immediate assistance from the roadside assist, as it happened in the evening. As the car was in my driveway I decided to leave it for next morning. Next morning my car was towed to the service center. When the towing person charged the battery for towing purpose, it showed multiple warning lights on. Soon after they received the car they informed me there were some dysfunctions showing on the display. I had to wait about five hours to know what was finally found, and it was only the battery. It was in low state of charge. I questioned why it happen to my new car after three months. They told me it could be due to low mileage, which was at 22 miles/day!! Its really upsetting and disappointing, that without any warning the battery shut down and the reason I was given was low mileage!!

Garber Honda marked up a car $1000 when my son was shopping & lowballed him on trade in. He is making his purchase of a new 2022 Honda Insight Hybrid FROM IDE that WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR HIM AND TREATED HIM WITH RESPECT Shame on Garber Honda doing him dirty. He may be young but hes smart, honest, a fulltime job, with excellent A+ credit. Dont do dealings with shady sales folks. CONGRATS TO IDE on they now have a great loyal customer and we will recommend folks do business with them in the future.

Purchased a used vehicle from IDE Honda in Rochester and have noticed rust forming on the drivers side door. Brought it to a family member that does body shop work and right away he noticed the drivers side door and the passenger side door showed signs that it had been damaged in the past either from an accident or from transport damage. He said there was signs that a tool that screws into the door to remove large dents had been used.He took apart the interior door panel to confirm that the door did have work done. This was undisclosed to me at the time of purchase. If I had known about it I would have skipped this one. The only true fix would be an entirely new door. Not pleased at all and will be my last car purchase from IDE dealerships.

Good experience overall and low stress process. Brad Constantino and Tony Syre are professional and personable. The car was immaculate, ready to go and entire process very efficient which was helpful when I need to replace a car pretty quickly after a deer accident. I recommend ditching the extra fees that pop up when you are ready to sign (like vehicle prep fees $99) because that ticks customers off which does not help build trust but otherwise the deal was fair. I would definitely buy another car from this dealership again minus the extra fees next time.

I’ve been with Ide Honda for almost 10 years and have never had any issues with them until this new lease. However, I will be thinking twice after the this experience. After an issue was made on their behalf with some overage expenses, they claimed I owed more to them a month later. The best they could do to remedy the matter was work the number down. Customer loyalty didn’t get me much here. I gave four stars for the stellar treatment I received over the years but this latest experience leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Sorry, guys.

I recently had an issue with my battery/terminals, no fault of Ide. It was the day before a long trip and the terminal cable would not stay on the terminal to the point that I was left on the side of the road. When I finally got the cable on temporarily I drove to Ide. It was about 5pm and Mike Hunsinger greeted me, took my car in and in 45 minutes I was good to go.I appreciate him getting me in as quick as he did when he had other customers he was working with also. Very much appreciated!

Purchased a 2016 Honda Odyssey from Ide. The sales reps and business managers were friendly and helpful for the most part. When I purchased my vehicle, the sales rep assured me that during the final inspection in the shop that all of the marks on the vehicle would be buffed or touched up. When I picked the vehicle up it was washed / waxed but the foot long marks were not touched. I pointed them out again so another rep brought the vehicle to the shop to touch up the spots quick; they came out okay. Also, when I went to change the wiper blades and add in a better washer fluid I double checked all of my fluids. Most fluids (brake, coolant, power steering) were all below the minimum line.

I just bought my 3rd Honda Civic from IDE Honda. My saleswoman was Kiersten Herman. She was wonderful to work with. Everything went so smoothly especially during the times we are living in. I love my new car and I would definitely recommend Ida and Kiersten to my friends.

I had 3 days to decide on and buy a car. On the first day I went to twelve dealerships, at some of which no sales people bothered to get up when I came in (even when they werent working with anyone!), made me wait 10 minutes for anyone to approach me, or acted like they were doing me a favor to speak with me. Not so at Ide Honda. You are greeted immediately by the front receptionist and if a dealer sees you coming into the dealership through the window they are waiting at the front door as you enter. Rick was waiting and genuinely pleasant and upbeat.When I was ready to buy I wanted to make the deal with Rick rather than a competitor with the same price. It wasnt just that he knew the car and was able to answer all my questions - it was that in dealing with him I had a good time rather than being stressed and anxious. It was well worth the few extra seconds to go back to Ide. And when I picked up the car the next day he patiently explained everything in the car. I havent owned a car in 20 years so lets just say I wasnt quite up to speed.He treated each question with respect.When I started this process I did not realize how important that salesperson would be to my experience of buying a car. Good sales team, Rick is the man! Ide lacks a reliable service department, my car always comes back filthy with oily hand Marks on my interior. The service department takes an extremely long time to complete the simplest of car maintenance and still have to bring it back because they cant even preform a proper alignment, very unhelpful service staff that rarely answers the phone and never calls customers back, very disappointed and wont be buying another vehicle from Ide.

Called for an oil change which was fine. But ...a tire rotation and break job for an extra 150 dollars was thrown in there too. I declined. My car isnt even a year old yet. This is the only problem I have with the service department. Extra things added that arent needed just to strike fear in the hearts of people who wouldnt know any better? Really...you have to stop doing that. My car has only 8800 miles on it so why do I need a break job? Might I add they are mostly highway miles so the breaks arent used all that much. As far as tire rotation I booked somewhere else.
