I always have a really good experience at Mavis on Maiden lane. Making the appointment was super easy . I got 4 new tires and a state inspection. They did a great job, it was quick and the gentleman at the desk was super polite. My car feels great and I am ready for winter!

Came in there Sunday to get some tires put on my vehicle, The guy up front was very nice and helped me pick a nice set of tires I dropped it off and had it back quicker then expected very good work and very good workers I will always reccomend Mavis on Maiden Lane

Took my car in for tires a few months back. Car only had 15k miles on it, but I hated the stock tires. They call me and tell my I need an alignment. I told them I didn’t, they said the warranty is void unless you get it and it’s only $40. Okay whatever, I got it. Little did they know, I have an app that tells me when my car is started and stopped. From that phone call, they never moved the car, so it was done anyways. Whatever, that’s fine.So I get the car, and the steering wheel is all sorts of jacked up. I call them the next day and they say okay no problem, bring it back. I do, the guy says that the car can’t even be aligned because the parts don’t have adjustments, but weird, the steering wheel was now off to the other side, and by a much larger margin. So my question is if there’s no adjustment, how did you charge me for an alignment, and how did you mess it up even more?Finally got a chance to get under the car. Yes, it has toe adjustments, and the alignment is awful. Tires are wearing terribly two months later. Ended up taking it elsewhere for an alignment. Another $120 later, we’re back to where the car was at before I took it in. (That’s $160 total for an alignment that didn’t need to be done)And they had the balls to ask me to leave them a positive review. Here it is! They get a two stars because the tires were actually priced nicely. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for…Edit: Steve, the district manager, reached out to me and offered to refund me the $40 they charged me, and the $120 the other shop charged me to correct the issue. I can honestly say that I wasn’t expecting this at all, and I feel much better about the situation than I did before. Thanks again Steve!

Fantastic service! The team saved our day today. Found a nail in tire when getting ready to head to Buffalo for a hockey tournament game. They got us right in, hooked us up and plugged it right away. Made it to Buffalo with 20 min to spare thanks to their quick work!

I pull in and start using air machine, well starts taking air out of my tire, I go in ask for help, guy at desk does say that is why there is a bag on it? Well pieces of a bag but nothing to warm out of order, BUT then a nice young man named Devon came out put air in my tires. I left drove down hwy and pressure light never went off, I went back and Devon was more than helpful and checked to see if all sensors were working, they were all good.. He reset my light .Thank you Devon for going above and beyond to ease my anxiety. Its the small thing that mean so much

Found a nail in my tire and stopped in quick. They were so helpful and took care of the issue even though they were busy and about to close. The manager is so sweet! The gentleman working at the front desk was so kind and welcoming! Thank you all! You made sure my kiddos and our family was safe before a good drive.

Theyre okay but slow and the mechanics have a cavalier attitude. Otherwise ok.Edit: I tried another location to get two tires for a Nissan Cube, I called ahead with the tire type to get a quote as I needed to pay cash this go round. After getting everything prepped with the girl on the phone I thought things would go better, I went to the W. Ridge location and the lady behind the counter had no idea I called and then waffled on wether or not I should order the tires because I didnt bring the vehicle with me. I left and called Firestone and gave them the tire size, I showed up and guess what they rememebered me! I paid cash for my two tires and came back same day to have them put on (I was told the tires would arrive the next day.), they found a faulty TPM and talked me through everything. The extra sixty dollars I paid was worth the drop in blood pressure, good bye Mavis, you will not get a call from me, Im gone for good.

My last experience at this location was awful! 1st off, they won’t take appointments, so you have to leave your car all day! I don’t have a ride, so I have to walk back and forth to this place, about a mile but a long walk for a senior person. The manager Bob is totally rude, and won’t go out of his way a bit to help you out! Won’t be back! I think they create problems with your car that needs to be done so they will gave more business!!

Quick, Friendly and priced right!

My father recommended me to go here to fix my leaking tire. SUV had a screw in the center of the tire causing it to lose air. I bought fix a flat can at wallmart fore like $10 and called my dad to see if hes ever used it before and he said i should just save my money by returning it and bring it to mavis cause theyre the best price to fix it and that they do a great job fast. They had it fixed in 20 min. Thanks again!

Needed to get my rear brakes serviced and unfortunately my usual mechanic was scheduling out too far so I figured Id give Mavis a try after seeing the $99 brake special. Knowing I needed rotors as well I was quoted $299/axle over the phone so I scheduled the work. Within 15min of having the car, my estimate jumped from $299 for the rear brakes to $1450. I was told I needed new calipers, front and rear pads/rotors. I was told I had special brakes on my 2017 explorer, hence the crazy markups. I had them halt all work, took the car to my mechanic who replaced the rear pads/rotors, magically the calipers worked fine and I was all set. I also had him check the fronts and the exact words were these brakes look brand new. $300 bucks and I was out the door. Im glad I didnt get taken and hope that at the very least, someone reads this and does their homework before getting any service done here.

I got there. Talked to the manager and got all the information I needed. Explained what was happening to the break line leaking the break fluid. I got an estimate within an hour. They went ahead and took care of in a few hours. They told me what was causing it and gave me advice to avoid it happening again.

It was time for a new tires on my 4Runner.... I called to get an estimate and I have gone to Mavis in the past with my other vehicles, always been satisfied but this time it was aa even greater experience! They gave me an amazing quote on four tires and it was so good I went to the next level of tire!! My choice no pressure from the salesman or tactics to get me to choose that higher cost tire but at the end of the day even that tire was less than what I thought I would be spending on four brand new tires for my particular vehicle.They called me and told me that I needed to get my brakes and rotors done so the extra expense was very much a surprise to me..... To be fair it had been two years on the same breaks and rotors so Im 100% sure I needed them. They worked with me on the extra cost for everything and gave supreme customer service I walked away feeling satisfied and confident. I dont feel like I was taken advantage of I didnt leave with a bad taste in my mouth as many people do from mechanics the guys here are so nice and so willing to go the extra mile to help you out in any way that they can! The Maiden Lane location is where I went and where Ill continue to go whenever I need something done. They were so nice they even put in my windshield wiper fluid that I bought at the gas station. Bob the manager at the Maiden Lane store in Greece runs a good show. I have dealt with Bob over the years beginning at another tire store company, and have always been satisfied with his services. In my opinion, with regards to repair or servicing issues, his teams suggestions were in the customers best interest. Prices and quotes I feel are fair and competitive. I don’t even shop around any longer for those reasons. I have dealt with other managers at other tire companies in the past and have found their customer service skills to be subpar. I most recently dealt with Donna, the Ridge Road manager, who was filling in for Bob at the Maiden Lane store on a day that he happened to be off and was also satisfied with her services. Many thanks to an honest crew!

Bad snow today tire going flat pulled into maiden ln store. A large bald gentleman came out to check on my tire. Turns out I got 2 new snow tires in and out 30 min. Found out his name was Phillip. I would ask for him. Done right, fast, and safe had there masks on.

I called for a estimate an hour later I arrived for two new front tires. I asked the service guy if they honored veterans discounts he said yes and then said looks like when you called it was already applied. During checkout I asked a different service guy he stated Ill do it now. Got my discount after the first guy lied the place seems a little shady.

As I was driving to work this afternoon my tire all of a sudden blew out. Mavis was my first call they were more then accommodating. Told me to come down right away they’d get me in and out in no time. They turned my stressful situation right around! They got me right in as promised and I wasn’t late for work. Thank you Mavis tire team I will be back!

Took car in for 4 tires. Make sure you ask for a total. There are 3 different fees per tire they don’t tell you about. Ended up paying $1,200. Also, NO MASK!! The guy was coughing too and sounded like his nose was stuffed up. Unfortunate experience. It’s my own fault for not asking for detailed pricing info.

Very satisfied, quick tire change took about 45 minutes and not too expensive either.

I woke up to a flat tire. I was able to come straight in and get it replaced and aligned for a very reasonable price.

Service was very good. pleasantly received and communicated the amount of time for the service and was called as soon as job was completed.

While I have had a couple issues with this location, each time the Manager at the location or the District Manager personally reached out to me and took care of the issues. I respect that as a person and appreciate that they take their customers issues with great care and consideration.

They were able to get the tires I wanted and price was better than competitors. My vehicle was ready in 2 hours as promised. I will go back again with my other vehicles.

My first time at this mavis location..( Ive been to Geneseo before)..I think I got a good deal for the price I paid and did open a credit card with them.. (I have a high mileage car and its good to have to try to keep her running and I dont have the cash..) My only complaint is they never said to come back in 25 miles so they can retorque / check my lugnuts..I read that on the receipt. so in the morning when I drive my 30/35 miiles to work. Ill be freaking out thinking I may lose a tire..then my drive home during rush hour.... just wish they had told me and explained that better.. Why 25 miles? Do they usually loosen up?.. God I hope not...

Made an online appointment middle of the week for Friday for two tires to be replaced. Called to ask if can add alignment, was then told tires would not be at the store until Saturday afternoon (had I not called would have shown up Friday for nothing).Get there lot is a dangerous mess, cars blocking one way paths so having to reverse in v tight spaces. Get inside tell woman who is not even looking at me that I have an appointment, she goes dropping off? I said no Ill wait. She goes its drop off only we usually close at 5 but were staying late, cant get to it right now. So I ask her how would I know this information, she goes someone should have told you when you scheduled it, guess they forgot. So I go well forget it then, she goes ok and turns around and keeps working on whatever she was working on. This is good customer service? The LEAST she could have done was look at me and apologize, never again. Then I read the Google reviews, guess I should be thankful, looks like a lot of scams at this site. I am following up with Corp on this BS.

Im only giving them 4 stars because I have only been there for oil changes and dont have any knowledge of their other services. Assistant manager was friendly and helpful. Staff got me in and out within time estimated. Id recommend them over Valvoline any day of the week. Better service and prices. Also I should add more cautious with your vehicle

I’d do negative 100 stars if I could. Went to get new brake pads/rotors for my car. After a month, braking would cause a high pitched squeal, went to an appointment to get it looked at and after 2 hrs of waiting (they didn’t even look at my car in this time, I had to ask how far they’d come), they finally looked at it and admitted to giving me defective brake pads and rotors. When I asked how long it’d be to fix it, one of the managers said I’d have to leave it there (which wouldn’t be necessary if they’d looked at it in time). The next time, I actually called ahead before driving a half hr to see if I could come in and get them replaced and leave with my car that night. The guy said that I could definitely do it. When I got there, the manager “Bob” was extremely rude and said he didn’t have the parts and I’d have to leave it overnight. I decided to go to another Mavis to fix it and somehow my brakes are even worse than they were before, and they gave me no paperwork to show what exactly they did. By far the worst experience I have ever had to go through and I’m never one to write reviews but this definitely warranted one. Also reached out to corporate to see what I could do about this, and the regional manager “Michael Teschner” and he never returned my call. Now I’ve gotta pay another $700 for brand new brake pads and rotors at Dunn Tire for a mistake that Mavis made. This place is a joke.

The gentleman that was helping me told me that hed do his best to take care of it. He was able to do it and in record time! It only took about 30 minutes. I pulled into Mavis on Maiden Lane in Greece, to get air in my tire. It was just about closing time. I noticed a nail in my tire. I went into the store to ask about getting it plugged. The assistant manager Jake told me no problem. The crew stayed beyond closing time to repair my tire. I was very grateful.

I highly recommend using this shop for all your tire needs!Came in for 2 tires and a wheel alignment.The bad: It took 1hr & 40 minutes. Which I think is too long especially since I was the first one here at the shop today. Thats the only bad.The good. Service I thought was 1st class. Pricing was great as well. The employees were kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. The waiting room was great too I came here with my 4 year old son and they had a waiting room just for kids. He had toys and a television with Disney DVDs for him to watch. I thought this was incredible. Great idea.

Called for an inspection.. Said they could do it as a drop off that is no problem. Husband gets all the way there to drop it off and was told that they could not do it today and got a totally different answer from my ohone call. Nothing but issues with this location.

Very good auto service. I feel they treat customers with courtesy, honesty and are priced fairly well. Auto anything is going to cost, and I find Mavis, to be affordable. They have a great team of technicians, theyre knowledge and skills are superb. Their quality of work is high.
