Sam Clar was fantastic. She was extremely knowledgeable and provided timely answers to all of my questions regarding my Custom Trail boss. She was able to process quite a few documents prior to my test drive visit, which made the process very efficient. This was definitely appreciated since I was traveling from over an hour away from the dealership. Sam even delivered the truck and covered the remaining paperwork at my house. When I set up the appointment I was told that it would be $0.00 cost. When I got there it cost me over $800.00. Also, I was told it would be 2 years before the recall on the Bold would be fixed. That is not acceptable. Last time I will buy GM products.
Mike Barty honestly could not have done a better job with the entire process. Mike was courteous, respectful, quick to respond, and straight forward. The 2021 market for vehicles has been tough, but even given the characteristics of the market, Mike made it easy. I cant say enough about Michael Barty; Ive leased 6 cars from Bob Johnson dealerships on ridge road and I can say without a doubt he is the best. He had my paperwork so organized when I arrived I was out in 20 minutes and have previously spent hours. He worked to get me a 2022 Trailblazer after some issues with sign & drive website interaction with Bob Johnson had fallen through and delivered in time as my previous lease was expiring. Communication from Michael was next level prior to arrival and everything exceeded my expectations from the experience to the vehicle.
Confusion reigns in how to get car inspected. I went to the quick stop location where signs for inspection are posted. Only needed inspection and they said they dont do them there; but, would check me in and drive my care across the street for inspection. Wait in the waiting room and well bring it back after its inspected. I offered to drive it over myself, but they said they would do it.Well, over an hour later (along with 4 other people waiting for the return of their cars from inspection), I inquired. Was told to wait ... it would be brought back. I walked to the garage to get my car and try for inspection another time. The keys were in the hands of the staff and the inspection had not been done yet. When I offered to take the car and come back another time, they said they would do it right away and drove it into the garage. Another half hour later, the car was inspected and I was able to leave. I dont find this system the least bit efficient and it should be made clear where to go for inspections.
Awful experience. Still same issues and they tried to fix it for the 4th times and never solve the issue. Now I am still experiencing the same issue for the fifth time. I spent over 3k and nothing has been fixed. Same issue!!!

My Blazer has been in the shop (6) times for over a total of 60+ days and it was returned to me with no root cause as to what the issue is or was. The issue has happened over and over again and will happen again. The new car manager doesnt even care as his message to me was that his budget on rentals was over shot and apparently that is more important to him than the 21 cars I have purchased from Bob Johnson Chevrolet. This guy doesnt even return calls. At least the guys in service try to give me updates. At the end of the day, the only thing that matters to Bob Johnson is that this issue goes away and not the safety of my wife and Grandkids that get stuck somewhere in this vehicle. So lets see just how good you review these things!!!
Len Z has been absolutely wonderful to work with. He has explained things, been patient with all my questions and was great to work with!!! Day of pick up, not so great. There was mud in the interior of the truck (still is) the radio needed a manufacturer’s update (still needs it), and there are chips in the paint of a brand new almost 50,000 dollar vehicle. On the day of pick up I was told by a service member that all I needed to do was come by on Monday anytime (no appointment necessary) and they would do the update. I showed up on Monday and Chris at service said that I needed an appointment and that they could probably fit me in in the afternoon and made me feel like I was the issue. Everything up until delivery was first class and great. I feel like once Bob Johnson got my money all bets were off and onto the next. I plan on having this vehicle for a long time. I sincerely hope that my experience thus far is not indicative of the treatment I will be getting in the future. Again, I can’t say enough about Len Z and Michael Johnson!!! Everything else has been very very disappointing!

Utilized the BJC quick service next to the main service area for first time for my first free tire rotation that came with my new bolt. Was Fairly quick, but the folks were a bit surprised that there was no oil to change. They asked me if I was sure and said yes it is a Full EV with no oil to change and said this was their first they had seen. I did a puzzled look nextdoor to where I bought my bolt and saw many other Bolts sold...some quick education will help with first impressions for your EV owners like myself. Also, should consider an EV only line as service much quicker with no oil change so we dont have to wait as long. Like Bonus service for owning an EV.
Brady at Bob Johnson has always taken care of us. This is the 2nd vehicle weve gotten from him now, 3rd from the dealer, and Im even happier than I was last time. He always works hard to find the best vehicle for our needs, thinking of budget and features, and he crushed it this time. He got my wife in a new Trax, setting me up for lease loyalty in the future, where I hope I can finally get that truck Ive been wanting. I have no doubt when the time comes, that Brady will be able to deliver again.

In these days of low inventory, Chris Codd found me the truck I wanted very quickly. It was truly outstanding how fast they found my new truck and got me in it.
When I picked up my vehicle from Bob Johnson’s the car was never vacuumed in the inside and it was dirty and the gas was a quarter till empty would’ve been nice if they topped off the vehicle. Those little things might sound petty but it’s kind of a big deal when you go back to buy another car. All in all though I would go back to buy a car and I would tell my friends to go to Bob Johnson’s to buy their next vehicle as well. The staff is very professional and they do whatever they can to satisfy you.
Just an oil change and a safety inspection, but I cant think of any reason to subtract a point from the top score. Great to be back with a Chevy dealer after my recent move to Rochester.

Times these days have been hard financially...but the sales reps do their very best to get you into the vehicle of your choice. I have also referred many friends and family members to Bob Johnson’s.They to have walked away very satisfied. My sales rep of choice is Frank Destefano.
My salesman was kind and professional. That’s where the positive experience ends. This was my 4th vehicle from this dealership and they do not seem to value customer loyalty. Was lied to by financier and had unwanted services (LoJack) put into my contract after he agreed not to charge me for it. Sat down to sign and payment was $100 more than previously discussed. Took about an hour for them to scramble around and figure out what happened and get it straightened out. My truck was supposed to have side steps, I noticed they were not installed, was told they don’t come with the truck, then “ohh yea your right, but we don’t know where they are”. Been 2 weeks and still no sign of my side steps. A simple part from GM. The entire dealership seems to be confused and unorganized constantly. They make you sign a document stating that if they loose a document with your signature on it that you will come back and sign another one. LOL. Also The service department is borderline incompetent and I’d rather go to a shop and pay for services to be done. I do not normally leave reviews for anything. If you value your time and want to be a valued customer, DO NOT buy from Bob Johnson.

Was accused of abusing truck, therefore nothing is covered under warranty. Was told I would receive a call back from service manager to explain what I need replace myself so I will not void my warranty, still no call back yet. I brought this case to the corporate level and was still denied. Told them I have pictures and witnesses to prove that I did not abuse my truck. Still wouldnt do anything for me. I will NEVER buy any GM product ever again and neither will any of my friends or family. I will continuously tell everyone to stay away from Bob Johnson and General motors. I have been a chevy fan my whole life, now after this situation I am no longer interested in any GM product ever again. I was accused of something I didnt do, without any way of proving my side. Otherwise I would have to spend money to take GM to court. My brand new $61,000 truck had 2700 miles on it when all this happened. I will be selling this truck as soon as humanly possible. Its a shame, GM used to be a good company. After the bail out, GM products have gone down hill.

I was testing driving a 2022 black Trail blazer when I came back I had wanted to purchase it but while I was out it had been sold. Bob Johnson offered me a different Dark Grey Trailblazer with more options for the same price. My sales person Anne Lakis I have used for many years and is always very helpful & honest. I had moved since the last time I leased a vehicle but drove back to Bob Johnson - Rochester which is 40 min. drive when there is a chevy dealer 5 mins. away from my house. I will continue to go to Bob Johnson & hopefully Anne Lakis will still be there.

Had free oil change for my new truck. Service was great! Nice and fast. The techs were personable and smart. The only thing I did not like was wasting my time with Onstar. Should not have to be forced to do anything with them. Tell me there is an upgrade and then I can call if I want. I wish you could tell me how to disconnect it all together. That would be helpful.

My A.C. was not working in my new lease. It was only 3 months old and I have my baby in the car and it was the first hot day, and he was stuck driving home from the Zoo screaming because it was so hot in the car and then hysterically crying after we got home because he was drenched in sweat. How could a new vehicle not have working A.C.? Absolutely disgusted.

As great of an experience it was to have my concern taken care in a timely fashion, my cars check engine light came back on and now makes a hissing sound when I use the AC. Unfortunately I have to bring the car back in now and I’m out of state. Not happy, and makes me lean more towards trading my car back in after the lease is up.
Your mechanics were rude to me. Your salesman were rude to me. You gave me my car back in worse condition than before. I was un comfortable through my whole experience. The rude salesmans name was Chris, he got frustrated with me easily when I wanted to explore other options. The mechanic who was rude to me was also named Chris. He tried to force me to get regular maintenance done such as transmission flush, alignment (stuff I could get done literally anywhere), and when I told him no he got a big attitude and told me suit yourself, not sure where your heads at. I will never come back to you guys, and neither will my family. Youre just a bunch of rude scam artists in suits. #1 in the nation for what? Not sure.

Failed 2019 Tahoe inspection for very light tint in front driver side and passenger windows. Factory tint on rear windows are twice as dark. Told me before inspection it would be $20 pass or fail so I feel like its a $20 grab. Not worth the aggravation going to these big dealers.

Never answered the phone, never called me back, only way to get answers is to show up. Leased a truck that was a lemon after 3 short months, still in the process of getting me into a new truck which should be quick and painless seeing as it was only 3 months in. Just get absolutely no help and no more than the run around from every single person in service. Worst experience of my life. Will NEVER return to this location and will make sure to share my story with everyone I know. And honestly so far, everyone I’ve talked to has the same experience. Worst car dealership in Rochester.

The service was fine. Took care of the issue quickly. My only complaint is why did a sensor on the brakes corrode to the point it needed to be replaced with only 10,000 miles on the truck? I drove Ford trucks for 45 years and switched to Chevy because of BS like this. I am very disappointed this happened.
