I can not speak high enough of the entire experience, from scheduling the appointment to getting my daughters nose pierced! The staff was INCREDIBLE, kind and caring. The location was easy to find and studio was fantastic, clean and welcoming. The quality of the jewelry was impeccable with a huge selection. My daughter was excited but very nervous and everyone helped to ease her mind and it went flawlessly!

Got my initial lobes done at 4g this morning with Tom and he was absolutely awesome!!! I could tell he was definitely just as excited as I was to do the piercings for me and was super knowledgable and helpful. The receptionist Jack was super friendly as well, and helped to quell my nerves the second I walked in!! Everything was super clean and the jewelry shop itself is lovely, I’ll definitely be returning in the future for more piercings and to pick out jewelry once my lobes heal up!!! I absolutely would recommend Dorje, I felt super supported, appreciated, and informed the whole time :-)

I had an excellent experience at Dorje. I scheduled an appointment for a Conch piercing (note, everything is by appointment only d/t Covid, including jewelry shopping -- this makes sense, considering that its not a super big shop). They were incredibly organized and guided me through jewelry selection, pre-piercing questions, piercing & aftercare guidance. Tom was my piercer and was clearly very experienced, knowledgeable and he was also warm and welcoming. Everyone at Dorje was friendly and professional. Be prepared to spend a bit more than you might have at other shops, but I promise you that the quality is worth it.

I came to Dorje to get my nipples pierced, and I don’t think I could’ve had a better experience. I called a couple weeks ahead of time because I had some questions regarding the piercings, and they answered all my questions clearly. When I came in for the appointment everyone was super welcoming and kind. Their jewelry selection is incredible and fairly priced. The piercer, Nick, made me feel so comfortable. He explained everything he was doing and the aftercare to me. The piercing itself barely hurt, which I think in part has to do with Nick’s experience. The whole thing overall was wonderful! I am very pleased with my piercings.

Was told that I needed an appointment to just purchase a new daith ring and have it put in which is okay but then she said itll be at least August before I can see you. This is not for a piercing I was willing to buy a 14 karat gold ring and pay for the five minutes it takes them to switch it. Covid restrictions are lifted and this is a little ridiculous

This place is absolutely wonderful! I am so sad they are closed due to Covid and hope they open soon although I understand why they are still closed. I got my belly button pierced here a couple years ago and I have a history of piercings always getting infected and such when i have gone to other piercing shops (due to no fault of my own I clean them constantly and take such good care) so I was hesitant and worried this would happen with my belly button but the piercers made sure I was comfortable and gave me tons to info and made sure my belly button type would not reject the piercing which was so great. (Most piercers just do the piercing you want not informing you on any possibilities based on the way that part of your body is) I was so pleased with the piercing and never ever have had any issues with it. I truly love this place.

Enjoyed my meal but originally were told a 30-35 min wait. Was a couple of mins off an hour when our name was finally called. When made enquiries as to how much longer was told didnt know ! Food was good but the wait spoiled a birthday mealSorry....wrong business!!

I can’t recommend enough! The shop is impeccably clean & the staff is wonderful. I had been to other shops in Rochester that were okay. However, once I visited Dorje I noticed the huge differences in standards & couldn’t go anywhere else. I’ve been pierced by Tom, Dana, & Marley. They all did a wonderful job. I’ve since moved out of Rochester & have lived in two major cities & have yet to find another studio that fills their shoes.

Came in october to get my daith done. it was the best and easiest healing process i’ve ever had. just went today to get some jewelry to fully dress up my ears. from the front of house staff ensuring all covid precautions are being taken to the guy (can’t remember your name, sorry!) who helped me pick out my jewelry to tom, the piercer, who did a great job bringing the whole look together, i couldn’t ask for a better experience. definitely worth the wait to get an appointment here. cant wait for the day they can do under the mask safely and i can update my nose piercing! thanks so much!!

I called Dorje in desperation because I could not get my nose piercing back in after it fell out. They could not replace it because of mask rules, and I appreciate they are following the rules for health! However, they spoke on the phone with me to try and coach me, and when that failed (due to me) they searched around for a screw to last me until it is safe to have my favorite piercing professionally replaced. Ive been going to them before they were on Park Ave, and Ive only gone to them ever since.Their piercers are the /only/ APP certified piercers in Rochester, but not only do they have extraordinary credentials they are also some of the friendliest people youll ever meet (including the awesome receptionists)!Additionally, their jewelry is not only high quality, but absolutely beautiful from everything from steel to glass to gemstones they have (or can order) almost anything.Furthermore, something that I find unique in my (admittedly limited) piercing shop experience they have somewhat of a warranty (dont quote me on phrasing). For example, one of my glass plugs was knocked out soon after it was pieced. I was heartbroken. It looked like the hole was closing up, I was covered in blood. It was bad. I went back to the shop and I was greeted with a great big hug, and they quickly popped the jewelry back inside of me. Free of charge. People say they are a little pricey, but you are paying for quality here.

Every individual Ive worked with at Dorje is an absolute class act. They are knowledgeable, personable, and professional. Ive had my nose pierced there, as well as taking my daughter to have her ears pierced. They are incredibly thorough in managing the piecing process with any client, but especially children. They do require a consult prior to making a piercing appointment for a child, but it really put my daughter at ease that she knew exactly what to expect. All of their jewelery is also very high quality. You could certainly go somewhere cheaper, but you definitely get what you pay for and Dorje is the best.

I havent had the best experience with this place so far. My first visit was great, they worked with me to find an alternative to an industrial and were very nice and understanding. However, my problem is the piercer... I was told by another piercer there that they pierced my cartilage too close to my glasses. It has had a bump on it since the first month and I still have the bump a year later. My second visit, I had a really great piercer who came from a different state and told us she only works there sometimes. She was very friendly to me and my boyfriend and made the experience enjoyable, and my daith and conch were pierced well by her. My third visit, I came in for my 2nd and 3rd lobes. I had the same piercer as my first visit. They spent 5-10 minutes working to get the dots lined up perfectly on my ears.... Then they pierced it from the back of my ear which did not seem right to me. Theyre not even. Me and my boyfriend noticed that as soon as we left. That piercer isnt very sociable either, there was a lot of silence. Unfortunately, I dont know of any better piercing studios in my area, so if I do end up coming back here, I will likely be requsting a specific piercer just to avoid the one Ive had bad experiences with.

I have had 4 piercings done here. Each time the staff were very helpful, kind, and informative. The atmosphere is very comfortable, especially in their new location. This is one of the only APP certified shops around Rochester. All the jewelry they use is high quality, brand new, and sterilized. One staff member, Dana, has pierced me multiple times. Hes a chill person andis good at starting fun conversations, making the piercing process less nerve wrecking. This place is a little pricier than most shops, but youre paying for VERY high quality work.

I stopped in recently for an earlobe piercing and could not be happier with the whole experience. The retail area is gorgeous and neat, the entire staff overflows with warmth and hospitality, and the piercing room was as clean and well-appointed as a medical exam room. Nyx was fastidious through the whole piercing process, and thorough about explaining all the tools and steps as well as aftercare. My daughter recently had her nose pierced here. They are very though and told us how to prevent infection etc. The piercer Dana was very nice and made us feel very comfortable. All their jewelry and equipment is sterilized thoughly and the room is very sanitary. The jewelry is high quality. The would definitely visit them for all your piercing needs and jewelry.

I recently got a nose piercing by Dana at Dorje. A quick Google search led me to their highly reviewed shop and Im so happy I went! Not only is the shop incredibly clean, they have great jewelry selection and extremely knowledgeable staff. My piercing is the cleanest piercing, I have ever received. I have had zero swelling or discomfort and am extremely impressed. I will definitely be returning to switch out my other nose piercing and cant wait to see the new shop!

I got my nostril pierced here a little over a month ago by Tom. I’ve had my nose pierced many times. This was the least painful and have have 0 issues with it. I expected to have some issues or irritation but none so far. The after care instructions and saline are easy and work effortlessly. That combined with the jewelry sizing, placement and quality, I am beyond a happy satisfied customer.

My ex girlfriend got her nose pierced here in February and I got my nose pierced here around April. The people are extremely nice and their shop is very clean, they take good care of you as a customer and have beautiful options for piercings. The only issue is how expensive it is. I understand why its so expensive but I sadly cant go back because of the price otherwise I definitely would be returning for other piercings. I highly recommend, especially for a first piercing because they talk you through everything and make sure you are okay so it calms any nerves you may have and they are so kind.

While Nick guided my jewelry selection, flawlessly, Dana took care of my nostril piercing. The piercing experience was exceptional, far superior to my previous experiences at other shops. Dana was thorough, professional, and super friendly! Right away, I was walked through each step, both for the piercing and the aftercare. Asking about my preferences on placement and the angle for the jewelry, Dana made sure to take into account my future plans for the piercing (hoops, posts, etc.). Dana made sure I felt comfortable with the entire process, happy with my piercing, and even made me laugh/smile throughout the appointment. I look forward to working with Dana again soon! Nick was also incredibly kind, personable, and very knowledgeable. I worked with Nick to develop a jewelry plan/layout for my current piercing as well as future piercings. Taking the time to look at my personal anatomy, Nick was able to recommend jewelry options that would work for my face and my preferences. And not once did I feel rushed or pressured to make a selection. Nick’s expertise and eye for selecting the perfect pieces was exceptional! I am thrilled with the selection and excited to work with Nick again in the future.

Took my 6yo daughter here to try to get her ears pierced and they said it’s a 2 part process - she would need to do a consultation (offered only during the weekdays!) and then come back at a later date to get the actual piercings. Never heard of such an extensive process for earlobe piercings, and they really should have this information on their website so customers don’t waste their time.

Great shop! Its a little on the expensive side, but hey, you get what you pay for. All the people that work there know what they are doing and are very kind and cool. Ive gotten a couple piercings done here and my next one will definitely be here :p

I went to Dorje Adornments after looking for a good place to get my nostril pierced for a couple months, and every place I found had unreliable schedualing. They accepted me as a walk in. I was nervous, and Marley guided me through everything making sure I knew exactly what to expect. He explained how he was going to pierce my nose and how the jewelry worked, and overall made sure I was comfortable. The place is super clean, and the tools are sterilized and freshly opened for each client. I absolutely recommend this place, lovely people, I will come again.

They cost is WORTH IT here. Please do not go to any other place than her. They really care about their customers. I got my nose ring here and thank god they really cared about the piercing and helped me make the right selection.. and they have the most beautiful selection of nose rings here too. Definitely will come back.

I didnt even get my ears pierced by them, It was suggested to me someone. I walked in looking for information and help because my ear piercings were slightly infected and I also had a small skin flap on the back side. Without asking for money the guy brought me back, put on gloves, and took a look at my ears for me and gave me some tips on how to better take care of them. Awesome, very clean, and professional. I would suggest Dorje to anyone considering a piercing, and they also had some sweet jewelry. I will definitely go back there when I get my second piercing.

Hands down the best piercing shop in Rochester! Nick is not only attentive, professional, and super hygienic, he makes you feel comfortable and walks you through any piercing process. I have had my nose and ear pierced multiple times and none of my piercings had any complications and all healed beautifully. They have an incredible eye for design and their jewelry selection is the best Ive seen. I frequently go in just to purchase jewelry pieces. All of my experiences at Dorje Adornments have been amazing, I would never go anywhere else!
