Went to another pro shop was not impressed. Answering my questions was more of a chore for them. Went to lightning strike. He was great gave me all the info I needed and made sure we got the type of ball that fits our weight ball and style we needed. Thanks for the great upfront friendly service. From the minute my family walked in the door Chris made us feel so comfortable and welcome. Not knowing for sure what we were looking for, Chris jumped right to asking questions and getting to know us, so he could customize our experience. He answered questions and explained things in a manner that even my children understood and made the whole thing that much more enjoyable. Chris is a down to earth man with the ability to make anyone feel like they could go pro. He worked hard to make sure that we got what we needed and that everything we got was just right for each one of us. His timely manner in drilling out balls is amazing and he even took the time to cut paper to make sparkles for the plugs on my daughters ball. Such great attention to detail. I enjoyed every minute in Chris shop and will absolutely be going back for future bowling needs.

This is the best pro shop experience that Ive ever had for pretty much any sport. Chris not only hooked us up with the stuff we were looking for but hes super nice and beyond knowledgeable and he gave us all sorts of tips. I couldnt possibly recommend this place enough!

Amazing service! Chris is SO friendly, my kids said they wanted to just hang out with him! Every minute of my experience was customized to us specifically. I didnt just spend money here, we invested in our family! Chris made sure we werent just another sale, he treated us like we were friends. He took such great attention to making the plug on my daughters ball blend in by hand cutting paper to make sparkles! Thats a great guy! Saved my brand new ball! Original had it drilled at Roseland Bowl in Canandaigua - and it wasnt even close to right. I brought it up at Roseland all they were willing to do was to adjust the surface of my brand new Hammer The Sauce bowling ball... No dont think so..So I brought it to Lightning Strikes after a few people suggested it and reading all the great reviews.I thought it would cost me a small fortune having it plugged and re-drilled but it didnt and the job was close to perfect when I got it back. Even the fingertip grip inserts where glued in with more precision and flush with the ball unlike the previous drilling from Roseland.Id recommend this place to everyone serious about bowling - they have it all and the quality of work is far superior to in alley pro-shops in 100 mile radius.Ill definitely be back for my next ball soon and Ill never have another shop drill or adjust a ball for me again in the future!

I walked in wanting new shoes and left with new shoes and a new ball drilled and ready to go in less than 30 minutes. Chris was very attentive, and knowledgeable. Fast and friendly service!

In 30 years plus of bowling I’ve never had a pro shop professional duplicate my drill pattern perfectly. I’ve now bought 6 bowling balls from Chris at Lightening Strikes that all feel identical. My average has increased by at least 10 pins or more in every league that I bowl in. The experience doesn’t end in the pro shop either. Any time that I’m bowling next door at Bowl A Roll lanes and Chris is around he will always stop by and see how I’m bowling and offer any tips that he may have to help my game. I would recommend there shop for any experience level.
