I had the most remarkable and UNFORGETTABLE experience at Bellisima with Julie, who is the owner. She has the best taste in selecting which dresses she chooses to stock in her downtown salon.I was quite impressed with the quality of the dress selection and beautiful styles. It was so hard to choose because they are all AMAZING!But when I tried on the last one, I KNEW IT WAS THE ONE! She went above and beyond accommodating me in answering all of my questions and had a talent for finding EXACTLY what I was looking for by asking me the right questions.She has been doing this for decades and I can tell, after having been to a few other bridal salons; this experience certainly stands out.She is a master at what she does, and I am thrilled with my experience with the lovely Julie. She has touched my heart and I will remember that day forever!❤️I have also spoken with Nancy and with Corrie and they are both wonderful, helpful and knowledgeable.I give 5 stars for this establishment and highly recommend to anyone seeking a high quality experience with a high quality product!

Although I did not end up purchasing my dress from Bellissima, I thought it was necessary to still give them a five star review. Kory was our salon specialist and she was so sweet, understanding and patient. We spent almost two hours at Bellissima and she was so positive throughout the entire appointment. Bellissima had GORGEOUS dresses, with a TON of veil and accessory options. Not to mention, the entire salon was pretty budget friendly. 10/10 would recommend to future brides.

They were nice to the bride but dismissive and rude towards the people she brought with her. The main person helping us was very nice, the other women working made the bridal party feel unwelcome. We made it a fun day to celebrate our friend regardless.Beautiful dresses and to reiterate the person working directly with us was very nice

I had the best experience at Bellisima! They’re customer service was better than any other of the four bridal shops I went to! I had Cory as my stylist and she was so sweet, kind, and really listened to me and pulled amazing dresses based on my feedback! Although I ended up finding my dream dress somewhere else I will never forget the amazing experience I had at Bellisima, they truly made me feel so special!

I went dress shopping here with my MOH and we had a wonderful experience. The sales associates were very friendly and helpful both when we selected the dress and when I came back to pick it up with my mom and some friends. They had a great selection for what I wanted. Overall a good experience.

My best friend went for wedding dress shopping for the first time today. She has been excited about it for weeks, despite everything going on. We goes to her scheduled appointment at Bellissima only to find out they booked another bride over her and told her tough luck. Well find her dream dress elsewhere!!

I absolutely love this place ❤Everyone since day one has been wonderful, helpful, caring and they go above and beyond out of their way. I am so glad I bought my dress from them!!The wonderful ladies who helped me pick out my dress, and the amazing ladies who are altering my dress are fantastic!! I had such a wonderful experience here. I was helped by Lauren and she picked out so many beautiful dresses within my budget that really matched my personality. She was so kind and patient with me when I was stuck between two beautiful gowns. I cannot rate them highly enough. I would give them 10 stars if possible.

10/10 would recommend Bellissima to anyone looking for their wedding dress. Their website doesnt show the dresses they carry, but it does tell you the designers, so you can look up their websites to view dresses. When I found a dress I loved, I called Bellissima to make sure I could try that specific dress on, and they made a note in their system so they were ready on the day of my appointment. The staff were phenomenal - they were very personable and conscientious of my budget as we looked at dresses. They made me extremely comfortable and took great care of my group. The best part of the experience was that I needed to come back later in the day after I had a second appointment at a different shop, and they let all 8 of us back in the store 10 minutes before closing so I could try on the dress I ended up buying. It was exactly what I needed to make up my mind, and they were so gracious even though they had to close a few minutes later than planned. I cant wait for my fittings and to work with these ladies again!

I’ve just purchased my wedding gown fromBellissima! From start to finish we were (my mom and I) very happy with our experience. Every dress I tried on was gorgeous. We worked with Julie and after trying on 4-5 gowns and liking somethings but not others about them she had us pause and changed out the dresses we were still going to try on. She was spot on and the next 3 I put on I loved. She was patient, kind, and super efficient. I absolutely love the gown and veil and I am excited to continue to work with this shop as the dress comes in and we do some alterations.

Love this place. I didn’t think I would like any of the typical bride dresses. The staff went out of their way to find me dresses that were more me. I fell in love with not only one but 4. Think I narrowed it down and excited to go back!

This was my first stop on my dress hunt and it was a wonderful experience! Nancy was the best and made my first time trying on dresses very comfortable. I really appreciated how honest and helpful she was while also keeping my timeline (getting married in July and just started dress shopping in March 😅) and budget in consideration when choosing dresses. She even took the time to check the availability of each dress I liked to be sure it could be ordered in time. The shop itself was great too! Nice big mirrors and spacious changing rooms that arent directly across from each other. I would definitely recommend Bellissima Bridal Salon, they are honest, beautiful, and affordable!

I had an INCREDIBLE experience at Bellissima. I came with 7 other ladies and they were so respectful to all of us. The viewing room was very comfy and roomy. All the staff there was so helpful nice...Nancy was absolutely exceptional! My entourage picked dresses for me to try on, and then Nancy pulled some too. I ended up saying, yes to the dress she pulled for me, after seeing my style. It was the dream dress I never knew I wanted and I definitely had the bridal moment. I never felt pressured into buying a dress, like I have at other places. In fact, I returned a few days later to purchase it! I also loved hearing that they help out with Tim Tebows Night to Shine, as my sister is special needs and I am a special ed teacher...it was meant to be that I got my dress from here. I would recommend them to anyone and cant wait to return when my dress comes in!

Wedding dress shopping is stressful, but the staff at Bellissima makes it so much better! They were very patient with me wanting to try on multiple dresses (sometimes the same one a few times!) and listened to the things I liked, didnt like, and pulled dresses that they thought would match what I had in mind. All of the staff here was so helpful and kind, and the selection was excellent. Prices were reasonable, and I am happy to say that I just ordered my dress and couldnt be happier with my decision!

Had a wonderful shopping experience here! I bought my dress here in August 2017. It was delivered in the expected time frame. I was encouraged to go out of my comfort zone and try several different kinds of dresses on, and it was well worth it! I was able to order extra lace fabric for the dress. While I didnt get my alterations done through Bellissima (I had moved), they had helped me to create what I envisioned for my dream dress!

I had the pleasure of working with Lauren last weekend to find the perfect dress. She was so incredibly helpful, in fact, all of the ladies working there were. I was running a little over my appointment and Lauren made sure that I was still able to go through my favorites and make a decision. I can’t wait to see the dress when it comes in!! Unfortunately, my wedding dress experience here ended terrible 😔 The sales woman when I ordered my dress was very pleasant to work with, however, I expressed concern multiple times when we could only get my dress in a size too large - Im small chested and the dress has a lot of structure. I was assured it would be no problem at all. The dress was beautiful, but so big on top that you could completely see my chest. The seamstress wasnt going to address the fit at all until I mentioned it. I then took time off work to drive out for 3 fittings which made the dress even worse - she shortened the straps so much (which I never asked for) that now the front was gaping open and up to my collar bone. The stitching on the straps could be seen in some spots and the lines where the sides were taken in were visibly uneven. She had also changed the straps so much they could only be worn off the shoulder (it was not an off the shoulder dress so then it didnt lay right there either!) I was told to come back in and meet with the seamstress one last time - I spent a frustrating hour back and forth trying to make some progress with not much luck. I was offered to switch with an off the rack dress in the back (my wedding was now less than 2 weeks away) and when we looked there was only 1 in my size that could not be altered to fit. I showed the dress to family and friends to make sure it wasnt just me and they were pretty shocked. Since it wasnt wearable, I was lucky enough that I quickly found another salon where I found an ivory bridesmaids dress last minute that they were able to alter. Unfortunately, I lost full payment on the dress and alterations. Hopefully Ill have some luck selling the original dress even with the alterations and large snag on the back that appeared after the final fitting :(In response to the owners reply and for further clarification - I was very concerned of the short time frame I had as well, which is why I wanted to purchase off the rack. However, I was assured multiple times by the 2 women who helped me that it would be no issue whatsoever and not to worry. After what happened, I was eventually told I could come in and see if maybe there was an alternative after realizing my dress could not be made to work at all (and was botched in trying to make it!), I was told I could come in and see if something in the back might work. Unfortunately, none of those options fit me and I was told couldnt be made to either.

Nancy was very helpful and had a great eye for dresses that would and would not look good on me. She very quickly was able to get a feel for what I liked and what looked best on me and pulled a dress that I absolutely loved and likely would not have picked on my own. She was so helpful and knowledgeable! The shop was a bit crowded (no private area for showing your group the dresses), but it certainly wasnt the smallest or most crowded shop Ive been to. They also have a really nice variety of reasonably priced dresses. Id highly recommend working with them!

I LOVED shopping here. The staff was wonderful and went above and beyond to make my vision come true. They didnt have the dress I wanted at first but it was there within a week. Sure enough, I said YES to the dress. Thank you so much for making my dream come true. Everyone was wonderful to work with.

This bridal salon made my shopping experience anything but enjoyable! When we showed up early to the appointment, the first comment that was made by an employee was about being able to go home early. That was not a great feeling to start the appointment with. When we started looking at dresses, the two consultants helping us look at dresses on the rack seemed very annoyed when I knew what I wanted and didn’t want. Let’s just say if you want something other than lace, don’t go there. While we were trying on dresses, the consultant was less than helpful. As soon as I walked into the viewing room, she walked out of the room and left me standing on the pedestal. This happened with almost every dress I tried on. The consultant helping the other bride in the room told me I looked pretty more than my consultant. I honestly felt ignored and that I was not important...when we left, my entourage told me that because of the mirrors in the hallway they could see the consultant rolling her eyes and making unpleasant faces and rude comments, when she thought she was out of sight, simply because I was being critical of the details of the dresses and how they fit my body. By the time we left, the entire group was frustrated and regretted going to this store. Oh, and the fitting rooms are very small. There was only one small stool that had a fan on it, and I had to put my clothes on the floor.

Great dresses and affordable! The BEST value in town. You wont find high quality dresses at a reasonable price anywhere else. The staff was extremely helpful and they have a seamstress they work with who is wonderful too! After going to multiple shops and trying on too many dresses, I said YES to the dress here!

They were very kind and had an excellent selection for very reasonable prices! I had a few I loved here but ended up getting my dress at a different salon. But the service was excellent and they had gorgeous gowns so I would definitely recommend shopping here!

I ordered my wedding dress and veil from Bellissima and the staff was so helpful when I tried on dresses! I didn’t feel pressured to try any particular one on and they helped me figure out what I was looking for in a dress. I didn’t have any issues with the order process - dress and veil arrived exactly as expected. The seamstress they use is also great! She is very detail oriented and made sure my dress fit me perfectly. The dress and veil were both steamed perfectly so they looked amazing for the wedding day. They have a beautiful selection for a great value for being in Downtown Rochester!

If you are a future bride avoid @bellissimabridalsalon My friend ordered her dress from them 6 months ago! The dress she received was not the same color as the one she ordered! They told her they cant do anything about it and had a cop standing there when she went to the store to talk about the wrong order!Trash customer service! My friend was willing to take a discount or anything that they had to offer to make this better! No bride should be going through this 1 month before her wedding !

Its obvious this store doesnt need your business. They arent very friendly, they arent flexible for appointments, and they practically harass you to make sure youre still coming. I had to ask multiple times WHEN my dress was coming. They plainly cant wait to get you out the door once they get your money. I wasnt even allowed to try on my dress before I took it home!!! They practically threw the dress at me! Good thing I tried it on when I got home, because it was messed up!!!!!Ann Hogan, their seamstress, is AMAZING and she deserves a lot of praise. They are lucky to have her.I wouldnt go to this place if you want to feel valued as a customer and special as a bride. They clearly arent interested in making sure youre happy with your purchase.

I had the best experience in this store! I had not tried dresses on anywhere else and was able to find my perfect dress which is amazing!! I worked with the owner who was both knowledgeable and extremely helpful! The entire experience was amazing and they were so patient even when i felt the need to try on practically every dress in the store! Thank you Bellisma!!

This woman was a God send for me. Having shopped at many stores I had been desperate to find a dress and being an extremely indecisive person here at Bellissima she was able to help me narrow down options, I also did not have a shopping companion for a second opinion and she was able to be that person for me, having her there made me feel as if I had a friend there helping me with this big decison. And she did a fantastic job at it. Kind, fun, and a beautiful array of dresses for every price range. Needless to say I said yes to the dress here!

Had a family member go here to buy a dress. They charged her $1300 and sent her the wrong colour. She went to discuss refund/return and they had the cops waiting there. Unbelievable. These people are thieves.

Terrible customer service! Do not shop here! Take your money elsewhere, where it will be appreciated. They don’t know the meaning of customer service. BEWARE of what you are signing. They are not responsible for your dress being a different color. Don’t trust them.

Best experience dress shopping! I was starting to get worried I would never find my dress, especially on a limited budget. my appointment was on a day where the weather suddenly turned bad, and I ended up being late. They were understanding and worked quickly to give me more time, but never made me feel rushed. By far the highest quality dresses I tried on, and it really makes a difference. They listened so well and never made me feel pressured to go out of my price range, they always had great advice and I ended up finding my perfect dress and couldnt be happier!

Bellissima did an amazing job with my wedding dress. Their customer service excellent compared to other local Bridal salons Ive been to!

The dresses at bellisima are beautiful, I actually bought mine here. However, the customer service I was offered was not good. When I went to try my dress on and choose my veil they did not give me the customer service that is required. I needed some time to choose some details of the veil and they kept asking me if I was ready. The store closes at 8:30 and since 7 they wanted me to leave because they had no other appointments and they wanted to close the store early. I did not have enough time to decide how I wanted my veil and the lady with short hair literally took the veil off my head so that I could leave and they could go home and do whatever they wanted. I am really upset with this customer service and although I typically dont put negative reviews I wanted to share my experience because it has horrible. I do not recommend having an appointment with the lady with short hair and if you buy a dress here make sure that you ask for the customer service you deserve.

I walked into Bellissima after having a fairly terrible experience with a bridal salon down the street. I didnt have an appointment, and my mom and I decided to walk in to see the sort of gowns they had -- first thing we saw was all of their dresses were in plastic bags (which is awesome, the shop down the street had filthy looking dresses that werent covered at all). The woman working in the shop, whos name I never got, was INCREDIBLY helpful, and since there werent any appointments when I came in, she let me try on dresses. She helped me get in and out of dresses and paired accessories with each dress. I loved every dress she picked out for me, and as someone who wasnt particularly looking forward to trying on wedding dresses, this shop was the best experience! She told me their most expensive dresses topped out at around $2500, so youre getting great quality at a very good price too. Highly recommend!

I had Joyce as my consultant and she was loud and rude. She was shouting to her co-workers and made gestures/faces when I replied with my thoughts. Felt like I was in a dry-cleaners.

My experience at Bellissimas was amazing. Rae Lynn was so sweet, honest, experienced, and professional. I went to two other bridal salons before and they couldnt compare to how good I felt as a bride at Bellissimas. Rae Lynn knew exactly what I wanted and paired a vail and belt with my dress perfectly (I looked at the other ones but the ones she picked look like they were made for the dress!). I love honesty, and she was honest and upfront about how certain silhouettes wouldnt look good on me due to hemming, etc. I was torn between 2 dresses (it was so nice to have an option that I didnt expect to have because of the uniqueness of the style I wanted) and came back the next day, ordered my dress and was measured. She was very informed and was able to answer all my questions. They also dont work on commission so they wont up sell a more expensive dress that youre not comfortable with. To top it all off the dresses are gorgeous, the store is very clean, neat, and pretty, and alterations are on site! I couldnt be happier and I cant wait to have my dress!!!
