OMG!!! These guys are the best!!! They are so polite and have great communication. So far I have only bought carpet from them twice and both times they have given me an AMAZING DEAL!!!! Art assured me the work would be complete but, among other things, the work was not complete. When we complained Nick came to inspect, and one of the things he said was, If you want to know what kind of problems you might have, you have to ask first.

Went to check out floors and was welcomed by Dan. He was great; he answered questions, promptly was out to measures floors. We had united install floors throughout main living area and they made that quick and painless for us. Highly recommend!

This was on it’s way to being a five-star review; that was, unfortunately, let down by installation issues. The salesman, Dan, was consistently helpful and professional. The quality, variety and pricing of their products was great. United’s crew was responsible for installing carpet on the stairs to a basement being refinished. They arrived on time and did a good job on the carpet but left many deep gouges on the newly varnished molding next to the stairs. To the company’s credit, Dan was apologetic and gave me a small credit on the invoice but it does seem as if the damage was related to carelessness. I believe this is an anomaly and would purchase from United again but would be hesitant to use their installers.

We had United Carpet emote our old carpeting in our living and dining rooms. We recarpeted the living room, and had vinyl plank flooring installed in the dining room. Dan was our sales consultant l and estimator. We were satisfied with the price he quoted, and went ahead with the purchase. When the day foe installation arrived, so did their crew! They came in, and moved the furniture, removed the carpet, and started installing. It was a two-day project, but we are more than happy with the job they did for us. We highly recommend United Carpet!

This is the second time we hired United Carpets to install flooring in our home. The entire experience was exceptional. The sales people are professional and knowledgeable. They did not try to pressure us into buying anything until we were ready. My husband and I received estimates from several other places. United prices can not be beat. Most importantly, their installers are top-notch. We highly recommend this company and will definitely be hiring them again in the future. From lending samples to see in my home to going the extra mile to fix my floor when the cabinet installer messed up the newly installed floor, to cleaning up after themselves, United Carpet was on top of their game and absolutely wonderful to work with. We are looking to have custom area rugs made for three or four rooms in our house. We stopped in United carpet to check out their selection. It was a bad experience from the start, as we were not greeted or even acknowledged when we entered the store.We wandered over to the carpet section and looked through their extensive selection. We found several that we really liked and only wanted to ask about pricing as it was not indicated on the styles we were interested in. I walked to where the salesman was and waited for him to acknowledge me, perhaps tell me he would be with me in a moment, something. He was with another customer and made no move to assist me or let me know that some sort of service was forthcoming.We were in the store for almost 20 minutes waiting with never a word from this man. It is one of the rudest experiences I have had. I am not going to beg someone to let me spend thousands of dollars in their store, I am sure there are many other places that will be happy to have our business.

We decided to replace the tired carpet in our condo. United Carpet was our second stop in search of solid vinyl wood plank flooring. We were fortunate to meet Art McLeod, who showed us a vast array of options, We settled on Karndeen and found one we though would go well next to the existing parquet wood flooring in the rest of the condo. He urged us to take a sample home, and we were glad he did, for our sense of the color match was way off. When we returned he shows us what he thought would work. He right sold us (unlike others who tried to talk us into a more expensive product than we wanted or needed), offering us a product a bit less expensive than what we picked, but he assured us it was of equal quality and better for our application, over a concrete floor (we live an a converted 1903 schoolhouse). His selection was right on the money. He kept us apprised of the order and delivery dates and set up an install date based on our availability. His install crew, Jim and Bob arrived on time, calling ahead. Unfortunately they discovered the concrete under the carpet had heaves and cracks and would require leveling. They were craftsmen and did the job carefully and completely. A one day install dragging into four days, but we didnt mind, because we knew the job would be done well and right. They went out of their way to accommodate us in timing of arrival, and always kept us apprised of any need for them to briefly engage in a repair or other activity. They were not going to leave until the job was done perfectly, and they held to that promise. They were pleasant, respectful, and a pleasure to have in our home. We are thrilled with the product, with the installation and our entire experience with United Carpet has been excellent. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

We purchased laminate and tile flooring about 9 months ago. The entire process was easy, results are beautiful! Great selection. They always seem to be short on staff, but theyre incredibly knowledgeable.

We lived in a apartment complex that hired united carpet to work in our unit. They were extremely unprofessional, when I called to see when their appointment to service our unit was they could not tell me. When they came to measure our unit the owner didnt even make eye contact. This company should remember people in apartments are future potential customers. I tell everyone to look elsewhere for their flooring needs.

My husband and I dropped in one afternoon recently. We are in need of a new kitchen floor. The sales clerk, who did not bother to identify himself, acted snooty right from the start. When my husband mentioned that we had never been in and wanted to check out the store, the clerk haughtily informed us that they had been open for two years. So what? We havent needed flooring in two years.The oddest thing was when my husband asked for a ballpark price on this one tile we liked. He took the sample and disappeared into the office. He was gone quite a while, so we wandered over towards the office. We then heard him on the phone asking someone for a price. Really? There was no way this fellow could come up with a price without calling someone?When he came out and told us the price (not mentioning if it was for the tile or for the tile + installation), my husband was admiring an entirely different kind of flooring. I jokingly mentioned to the clerk that my husband was now redesigning the entire room now that he had seen this sample. The clerk, stonefaced, just turned on his heel and walked away never to return.I then told my husband that even if this business was giving away flooring, I would not deal with them.Note to this business: We walked into a local appliance store and mentioned to the sales clerk that we were just beginning our search for appliances. That sales clerk did his best to foster a relationship with us. In less than an hour, we bought a refrigerator, range, dishwasher and microwave. If you had shown the least bit of attention to us, you may very well have sold us our kitchen floor tile instead of getting a bad review here.
