Loved my experience with Tony! He made the entire process so easy. I was buying a new phone and watch and wanted to transfer my old phone to my mom. We were dreading the process but were surprised at how easy it was. Tony was knowledgeable, easy to understand, fast and even funny. Tony took care of transferring everything which we were so grateful for. We were also pleasantly surprised when he offered to put my phone screen on my new phone which we all know is annoying. We had a great time and will absolutely recommend him to everyone!

Called the Verizon store on Lyell Road in Gates today to get an appointment to have my iPhone checked since it is not working correctly. Guy that answered the phone was rude, nonresponsive, and obviously did not want to help any Verizon customer. First he said they don’t do tech work in the store (even though they always used to), and then he said “well, I don’t have time for you”when asked again about coming in. Seriously ... this is Verizon customer support?! I guess the staff in the store just want to sit on their rear ends and do nothing unless someone wants to buy a phone. Very, very disappointed! I guess I’ll have to look into other support to switch to other than Verizon! 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

So...this wouldve been a 5 star review if I wouldve just had Zach from the get go. My sister and nephew wanted to leave sprint and join and it was nothing but a hassle. I went into the Verizon on Lyell Ave out of a whim not planning on purchasing anything, just mainly for answers to my questions. What a pleasant experience I had! I know I am not an easy person when it comes to new technology, but the service rep Zach was extremely helpful and patient with me. Any question I asked he knew the answer to and I ended up purchasing a new phone that day, I plan on going back to that location in the future to see Zach!

I had the extreme pleasure of being helped by a sales associate named Tony. I came in this evening, in tears, with a phone beyond repair. I went to upgrade my phone last week and worked with Tony. He was very informative and kind. He taught me things about my new phone that I would have never figured out if it wasnt for him being so patient and helpful.

I am writing this on my new smartphone that Tony in the gates store helped me pick out. So far very pleased with the phone and the service 10/10.

My daughter needed a new phone. Zachary Cutlip went above and beyond to help her. My husband needed a new phone as well, and he did the same for him. I have been interested in switching from android to iPhone but have always been made to feel from other employees like it was almost impossible. Zachary, did the total opposite! The whole process took a while, but he was very patient and willing to take care of all of our concerns. Even gave us his personal card with his cell phone on it! I’m new to using iPhone so that was very comforting. That’s not even the best part! We walked out of there spending less than $20 for 3 red iPhone 11’s cell phones!

This is the first time Ive left a cell phone business feeling totally supported and understood. Tony spent hours helping me dealing with a very uncooperative competitor, and saved me tons of $$$. Im older and find technology overwhelming, but this amazing person patiently worked with me to get me everything I needed, appropriate to my individual needs. A few years ago I visited this store (must have been under different management) and left. Now, Tony and the other staff totally turned my opinion around. Also, I love that they donate turned in phones to wounded warriors!!!

My boyfriend and I came in a couple weeks ago to look at phones. There was only one worker in here, and tons of customers at the time. Bernard was super knowledgeable and friendly. He kept thanking everyone in there for being so patient. When we got to talk to him about the phones, he was very helpful with picking the right ones out and then getting them set. Not to mention, I thought they closed at 8 the day we went in, but it was actually 7. We came around 6:30, and he spent the extra time in there to help everyone; we ended up walking out almost around 9pm. Bernard talked to us like we had all known each other, talking about life and cracking jokes. I highly recommend coming to this location.

He did not force me to upgrade to anything, he simply offered what he thought the best plan would be for my phone usage and life style. Exceptional service!!!!! I have been to this store in the past and it was fair!!!! WOW what a change the employees were friendly and knowledgeable! The manager is a gem. Keep him around and have him fix all your stores that are rated poor to fair!!! He is the type of manager that practice what he preaches and his staff learns from him.I was in the store for awhile bc I had an issue with my phone. I actually laughed and really enjoyed myself with this great group of young men!!! This will be the only store I will go to!!!!! Great job!!!!!

I went in to up grade and I was charged all these extra fees I was charged for a set up fee and I did the setting up on my own at home with a Verizon rep when I went to return it and I informed the the rep that was helping she told me it couldn’t be refunded and when I want to upgrade to come in next time and I won’t be charged a set up fee again that made me upset because I charged that and spend about 2 hours on the phone with Verizon trying to get my phone set up I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who is looking to start a Verizon account or upgrade your lines

Best experience I had at a phone store. The manager, Wansi, helped me pick out the the best phone for me and was super knowledgeable and personable the whole way through. Sean and all other reps at the store are very professional, polite, and make coming to the store an enjoyable experience. Thanks guys!

Unprofessional customer service at this store, stay away. We brought in our Google Pixel that wouldnt turn on after an update. After dropping the phone while trying to plug it in, the employee helping us said he couldnt do anything but would gladly sell us a new phone and laughed.I called Verizon corporate tech support (this store is not an actual Verizon store, just authorized) and they would replace the phone for a $50 fee. The employee at this store conveniently didnt mention that option. Ultimately Google replaced the phone free of charge.

I received extremely poor, unprofessional customer service from a young, male employee on the phone. The phone incident happened after my 82 y/o mother, who has an S3, went to the store because her phone locked up and she also mentioned her charger wasnt working. Well, apparently the CSR had no problem taking advantage of a senior citizen (on a fixed income)and thought it was a great idea to sell my mother a $40+ charger. When I called to express my frustration to the manager, the guy who answered, was the guy who sold my mom the charger. He said its not his fault that hes doing his job and that she didnt know any better.
