People go NUTS here. You can find amazing treasures if you can handle scumbags behaving like wild animals when new bins come through. people will literally break things and push others out of the way to be the first at a bin. An absolute lawless wasteland. Also, youll have to be OK weeding through things like USED UNDERWEAR to shop here. Where is OSHA??

Though, some people are making money from the items they purchase there, I have found great value in the items I purchase for myself and family. I truly enjoy the time I spend there. But beware, it can become very competitive at times and some people bring their children.Which can make it rough to navigate.

Search for treasure at the Goodwill Clearance Center. All the goods were originally for sale in a Goodwill store. Priced by the pound or by item--like books. Plenty of parking. Nice restrooms. Hard to find the entrance as its all the way around the building in the back. Open every day. Well worth a visit, especially for housewares. Recently purchased: lamps, beveled mirror, towels, baskets, food dehydrator, Halloween and Easter decorations, giant flower pots, books, shirts, shoes, Scandia Down comforter, down mattress topper, throw pillows, wreath, and potholder.

Great place to shop. Need additional handicap parking spots. Cashiers are all pleasant and customer focused.

Being able to find my own personal treasures was adventurous and fun.

Inexpensive clothing, household items, electronics and furniture. Competition among buyers is fierce. There are two sets of rules here. 1. The rules established by the regular buyers and re-enforced somewhat consistently. 2. The rules established by the store which are sometimes irrational, change almost hourly and are rarely if ever reinforced. The price structure is 99% done by the pound and commodity, with some items (normally furniture priced individually). Pricing will fluctuate between cashiers depending upon your relationship with them. There are items worth hundreds of dollars here selling for a buck. Buyers are competing to find those things and chances are good you are going to observe aggressive and passive aggressive behavior. Bins are changed hourly and a mad dash from one side of the store to the other occurs when the ok is given to go. A sea of carts and people will flood the aisles making it difficult to find any space to look at the new items and or move to someplace new. People will block space with their carts, steal from your cart, bump into you, reach across you, throw items in front of you. Its mayhem for about 5 minutes, at which people are convinced they have exhausted their best chance at getting something of value. After that it slows down into normalcy. You will see people beginning to line up for the next bin change 30 minutes before it occurs so as to assure first dibs on the next good stuff that may arrive. I recommend watching this process once or twice before you decide how you are going to navigate it so as to meet your needs. My recommendation is that if you have questions, you ask another buyer at the front of a line any questions you might have. Most are quite friendly during this time of waiting. Do not try to make sense of any rules put on you by the store, its a waste of time. Do not try to understand why the enforcement of these rules is almost non existent. Do not be offended when they talk to you like you are a child. Get your stuff and get out of there.

After shopping online in this store Ive got a bitter taste: I won the auction and paid for it, they were silent for 2 weeks unless I made a call to the support. It appeared that the item was lost, refund issued only after I made a call, so be aware!!

Its a fun place to go when youre looking for something to do. Ive found some great things you just gotta enjoy getting out and looking through the bins to find that special thing. The staff is always friendly. I go as often as I can.

This place is big, I visited the store with the interest of whats in there. One has to hunt in a huge bin to find treasure/s. Not for me, but I did cut a dollar bowl for my plants. It looked more of junk that good, for me, it could be great for others. I think its the last ditch to sell things, by Goodwill. I could be wrong.

Hate having to dig through random bins but whenever I go I always seem to find a few treasures! For the most part its fairly clean and the staff are super friendly!

I used to love coming here. It seems to have gone downhill after the pandemic. I am not sure if it is even open. I have tried coming on Saturday mornings and all I see are a group of people hanging around outside that look down on their luck. One man told me that they were closed. I hope they open soon because they have good deals there.

This is definitely a hidden gem in Rochester. Beware this place is not for the weak. Wear rubber gloves and be prepared for anything. You cant try anything on, but really you wouldnt want to. I have found some amazing clothing here. Good quality name brand stuff. Like I said, you just have to take the good with the bad. Its worth the price because you pay by the pound for clothing!

I love going treasure hunting here. Not for the weak hearted treasure hunters. I always find awesome stuff. Per pound pricing cant be beat. However they need to put a pricing sign back up. They recently upped prices and the sign prices are covered up. I always forget what is what in categories and sort my cart before check out. Id like to get an idea of how much Im spending on certain items that arent per pound.

Wow! This place is real different compared to other Goodwills. They throw everything in bin and you have to dig through them to find what you want. If you are a treasure hunter this is the place for you. My girl and I found some great stuff but we were wondering about the price the whole time. When we got to the front they told me they weight it and charge by the pound. The stuff we got (one of note a really nice Adidas backpack) was about seven bucks. At a normal Goodwill it would of ran us about 25 bucks. Value when you can find it.

Its pretty much a big warehouse with about 20 giant bins of clothes, they also got furniture kitchen wear,bedding,books etc, and prices go by the pound. I walker out with a cart full of all types of things and payed a little over $20. Its worth a try

Fun to find treasures here. I find quality wood bowls and trays to use for my artistry. It can get a little crazy when the new merch is being rolled out to the floor, but if you can navigate around the chaos, youre good to go.

Patking is not great, workers are really nice!

If youre not in a rush, stop here. Anything you can think of might be there, for a dollar or so. The staff are great and friendly. New bins of items every half hour.My new favorite thrift store.

Buying clothes for cents, is always a win in my book, and at this location, doing so is possible. This store isnt your traditional goodwill. They throw all types of items in bins in seemingly no type of order, then to find things, you dig through the piles theyve brought out. You can find a lot of nice things here if you are careful to look. The only things I dont like here are that my allergies act up after about an hour of being in there, and that certain people descend on bins of items with the veracity of a vulture when its spotted freshly dead meat.

It was all a bunch of junk!

There was less items than the smallest goodwill at normal goodwill prices. I told my wife after we pulled out that even if we lived right beside this location it would be a waste to go there.

I can see where some people dont like it - some items in the large rolling blue bins are stained, some are falling apart. However, if you know what to look for, you can find some awesome deals here. Stuff that doesnt sell at the regular Goodwill stores around town get sent here. Some stuff is new with tags, others show considerable wear and tear. You just gotta go and find a diamond among the rocks.

Great place to shop for second hand stuff. Sketchy neighborhood though. Place gets pretty busy . Since we found the place, my Mother in law goes over to the store 4 to 6 times a week and spends at least 4 to 5 hours there when she goes. She loves the place and has made a couple of friends who do frequent the place as well.

This is a gem! $1.69 per POUND of clothes! You cant beat it! Its an experience you have to try if you enjoy thrifting. Also parents of young children: GET ALL YOUR BABY AND KIDS CLOTHES HERE. A literal trash bag full of baby/kid clothes is $10. Check it out!

Fantastic place. SuggestionsHave at least one hour to spend.Everything in large flat containers not sorted. Bring hand sanitizer or gloves . price by the pound for clothes or priced per item. Inspect articles carefully for rips.

To me this is a fun place to shop. The people working there for the most part are good natured. One female cashier was not happy to be there and simply wasnt communicating. She totaled up part of the cart and then just sat there saying nothing. We didnt know what was going on and I had to ask. She just expected us to pay because she assumed she had finished totalling, but there was more to the order and we had to 1. Explain that to her. 2. Push the pile over on the same counter. 3. Experience her disatisfaction with the situation as we paid.

I guess I wasnt ready. It was a lot of clothes and other items. Honestly, some of the stuff should have been sifted through a bit better. Ill try it again. Expect to spend some time there too.

Certainly not for everyone but the serious thrifter will have a good time! Table sized bins being changed out on a regular basis. You need to sort through the trash to find the treasures (but isnt that half the fun?) I scored some great crafting supplies and clothing, books, and shoes.

Fun spot for the seasoned thrifter. Not for everyone though - Huge barrels full of clothes and randoms. There is the potential for broken glass and or knives to be in the bins - so be advised!

Buy clothes and their stuff per pound here. Not the ordinary Goodwill. Things arent in racks, theyre in big bins and not sorted by type. You can find good/cheap stuff, but you gotta work for it.

Rude staff! There were no carts and stood there for 15 minutes. When I asked if someone was getting carts they said NO!! AND then to top it off, another customer told me I should have gotten my own f@#$%!g cart. Are you serious??? There were none dummy. Wont be back

This is the King of Goodwill as it has the lowest prices of all. The reason is that they dont shelf things for you. If you are will to sort through the items yourself, go here because you can find great things for really low prices. They even sell in bulk and by the pound.

Ive visited few times, and couldnt be more pleased... I havent met more pleasenter workers in my life... I buy clothes there, wash and dry them and redonate ththem to people in need.... Thats why I buy the whole big cart of clothes, shoes and toys. Its a huge shopping cart... And young women at the cash register are nice, polite and really helpful if needed... They have to bag all that heavy clothes all day long, and they are always nice... And because of them, its a pleasure to go there and shop... Its just amazes me how sometimes in the posh stores the cashiers are so rude. And here in secondhand store they are sweethearts. If I had a business, I would love to hire them... Thank you ladies and gentlemen for being so nice....

I love going here..but they need to do something with rude people. I has gotten out of hand. 3/30/2019. I was pushed and hit in face with flying clothes. Those same people dont follow the rules either.

Perfect for mixed media artists!! Idk how Ive lived so long without knowing of such a place. Every 1/2 hour a new bin of stuff gets put on the floor....it gets ransacked/picked quickly. Advice: stay on the sidelines & sort through whatever has been tossed aside, otherwise get stuck in feeding frenzy.

This place is great if you need clothing and dont have much money, or if your just looking for great deals. The inventory changes constantly so you never know what you will find.
