This is an amazing and eclectic store. I can’t walk in without falling in love with something. I find amazing clothing, cool decor, one of a kind treasures. I always discover treasures I didn’t even know I needed. Totally different every time I walk in and everything so beautifully displayed. Every trip to Rochester has to include a stop at Kismet.

Stay far away unless you want to be ripped off. My father bought some furniture in which Penny later described as too big and old. She ripped him off big time. Read other reviews about overcharging. Buy on facebook marketplace. Way better deals there and from people motivated to sell. Do not support this scam artists front business.

Nice quality items with good prices

Bought a couple pieces of furniture here (coffee table and end table). I think they have a nice selection, though they probably over charge a bit. The paint job on the coffee table began to peel off within weeks of acquiring. Not sure if they had painted it after acquiring or if the previous owner had done that before selling. Hit or miss customer service.

Honestly, as a person whos got a bit of a champagne taste with a beer budget problem, this place is stellar. The staff are welcoming, the inventory is beautiful, varied, and priced to sell in a heartbeat. The sometimes quirky, but always interesting furniture always draws me back.

3 steps and 5 stars up from your average garage sale. You can get anything you need to furnish a home here without breaking the bank. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly, and the prices are reasonable.Rochester folks bring a lot of great things to resell at Kismet, and they can make a little money doing it too.Theres also a womens section. I havent purchased anything in this section myself, but my mother purchased a nice Italian wool skirt at Kismet for a great price. We love it!

This is the best consignment shop I have been in. Not only the clothing, they also carry furniture and great decorative items. After visiting with Penny the owner I made the decision to bring several clothing items to consign. I was so pleased with the out come that I will continue. Mind you I live in Iowa and its a three hour drive, totally worth it.

I make a point of visiting this shop every time I come to Rochester. Today, I found out after being rung up, that they now charge you 4% to use a credit card. I was told like it was some great thing to save small businesses so much money... But thats just ridiculous. Credit card fees are a part of doing business & if you dont like it, become cash only. Ive run my own small business for over 10 years. Im sure Ive spent thousands in fees, but I also know Ive gotten a LOT of customers business because I accept credit cards. We dont all have cash all the time. I think this was a poor choice on their part. Your customers make you. Stop nickel & diming us.

Great things, affordable, good quality furnishings, clothes and bags. Great place to consign with as well. So much so, that my mom drives from 300+miles away with a truck load of things just to consign! I’m not kidding!

Welcoming providing a friendly and unique consignment shop off Broadway that is organized, clean, and has open space for clothing, shoes and household furniture. Good parking North of building.

This is a great consignment shop. It has everything from new fancy furniture, to older more antique items. Also a great selection of womens clothing. During prom season they even sell beautiful second had prom dresses. This is one of my favorite small businesses in Rochester.

Kismet is a great place to shop. They have wonderful items for your home and you. You never know what treasures you may find.

Of all the consignment stores I have visited...this place is the best. Their displays are like a very nice womens shop carrying clothing..jewelry...and foot wear. They also have furniture and decor and glass and dishware. They are very selective. You pay a little more than a typical consignment store but thats OK with me because the quality is better too. So many consignment stores have the appeal of Goodwill as they try to do everything..childrens/adults boys to men, girls to women, just too much clutter. I drive 2.15 hours to visit.

Well-appointed consignment shop- well cared for, attractively layed out, and very nice quality items as well as sales staff. Its naturally pricier than a Salvation Army or Goodwill, but you will find consistently high quality items in exchange.
