Shopko Optical was amazing. Everyone was very nice and extremely helpful. They helped with insurance and they checked before we came in to make sure I knew what would be paid for and what would not. They were super helpful and very professional. The Doctors and staff were great with my kids.
Love the service they provide always friendly and efficient. They did wonderful with my 5 year old and he loved his experience as well and the selection of glasses is great!

Although the office staff seemed a bit chaotic, everyone was kind and helpful. Dr. Wulff was wonderful! Very thorough exam and when I had a couple questions, he explained in terms I could understand, including a short video. Very helpful.

All sorts of wrong at this place. The manager ordered my first pair of glasses for me and put me in a digital lens which is not recommended for my high prescription. He did the focal point wrong on the lenses so when I got the glasses I could see fine on the lower half but not the part that I actually looked through most of the time which is the middle and upper part of the lens. He totally denied making a mistake and blamed it on the company that does the lenses. Then I got a lot of help and spent way too many hours trying to find a second frame. Which I ordered and it took a long time for it to come in. Again, those lenses seemed funny and it had a scratch on it. I asked if I can reorder the lenses because I didnt want to pay hundreds of dollars for new lenses in which one has a scratch. And they said oh well its just a really tiny scratch but we can order the one lens. Then they were hesitant to reorder that pair because they said that I already reordered one pair. I got different frames the second time because they messed up the first order so I never reordered anything at that point, they blamed me like it was my fault and they were the ones that made the mistake. And I have to mention that I got approved to be in the store without a mask during the covid times when we still had the pandemic but it was not very high numbers and cases. It was pretty mild, well after 2 hours of being in the store and trying to pick out that second pair of glasses frames, the manager suddenly came over and said I had to leave and get out and the lady helping me was trying to do a refund on the first pair of glasses and re-ring the second pair of glasses. The manager literally kicked me out and told me to go wait in my car and then he can come out and get my credit card to put the money back on it and he took forever and didnt come out still so I went back in the store to see what was taking so long to finish the refund and rering. He was frantic that I was in the store with no mask. All of his other associates had approved me to be in the store and they had worked with me for 2 hours already with no mask on. So Im not sure what his deal was but it was extremely disrespectful. Dont tell me that your rules are one way and then kick me out like I did something horribly wrong. I also called into schedule times to come and pick up my glasses and the message was never given to the lady helping me. Sat in the waiting room for a long time and she didnt even know I was in the store waiting for her because nobody told her. I would say negative five stars if I could. Way too many mistakes on pairs of glasses, waste of my time, and the staff is horrible. Maybe a new manager is needed?

I purposefully returned to Skopko optical because of the customer service I received last year when shopping for new glasses. I was not disappointed. Lacy took the time to help me select a new pair of glasses and explained the various options for lenses.
It was a very good experience. The employees greeted me at the door, checked my temp. and had me sitting down and filling out forms. Everyone was very well spaced and the office was very clean . I saw the employees constantly spraying and washing down the chairs, tables and classes. The Dr. did a great job and when I was done, I was able to pick my glasses out and it took about a week to get them back. Fast service, very professional staff and I would recommend attending the Shopko Optical to all my friends.
Staff were friendly and helpful, the Doctor gave a excellent exam, answered all my questions, made me feel comfortable the whole time.
My initial visit was pleasant, and they were helpful, however, as soon as I received my glasses and found my distance prescription to be incorrect, the customer service went downhill as I tried to get the situation rectified. After a half a year of constant communications and various options being offered to me that were not in my best interest, the manager worked with his regional rep to allow me to return the glasses for the full price I paid. I appreciated that I was allowed to return my eyewear for the full refund.

At my daughters annual checkup, I was alerted that both of my young daughters were needing to get their eyes checked because they have an astigmatism. I set up an eye appointment at Shopko Optical and they were so great with both of them.My older daughter was very excited about the selection and quickly chose a couple of pairs. When we came to try them on, the team had brought in some leaves for my daughter to look at to see the detail in a way she has not been able to before her glasses.My younger daughter (3) was a bit of a diva about which style she wanted, and they were so patient with her trying to adjust to wearing them for fittings and not being able to decide on which ones she wanted (she swung between wanting all of the glasses to none of the glasses frequently).Cant thank Lacy and the rest of the Shopko team enough!! They are the best and I wont go anywhere else!
I enjoyed my first experience at Shopko Optical Rochester, MN very much. They were very professional and helped me pick out a new pair of glasses that fit my needs and style.
During Covid-19 time, everyone at Shopko Optical treated me with respect. Everything was cleaned after every customer. Great selection of frames. Dr Wulff was so great and thorough.
Took my glasses here to get adjusted, they were straight forward and professional and tool maybe 5 mins and she had they as good as new. Very friendly!
I have gone to Dr. Wolf for my eye care for 20 years! He does a phenomenal job at accommodating my needs and answering any questions I may have. I always have a great experience at my appointments and appreciate their flexibility with my hectic schedule.

Dr. Wolf at Shopko Optical South has been my optician for years. I was on government inaurance at first and was treated with respect and now my employer plan does not include optical and I am happy to pay the $100 out of my pocket to get a quality exam from a caring physician. However, I just spoke with Linda and when I told her that no one had followed up with me for a recheck for my contacts she brushed it off and said she didn’t receive any messages. There was no concern about me using trials and possibly over wearing the pair given to me and no flexibility in getting me in. When I suggested that I May need to find another provider she said “that was fine” Intold her that I know Dr. I old and that he probably wouldn’t appreciate loosing long-term customers and she said that was fine and wish d me a good day. I still thanked her and wished her well. This is an example of employees killing a business. De. Wolf is exemplary but he needs new support staff.

Horrible experience. I had glasses ordered for my 2 kids. Both came in and both were wrong pairs. Had to drive back up to Rochester, ordered new pair for my son. Left them both pairs of wrong glasses....when my daughter drove back to Rochester to pick out another pair she was told she wasnt in the system. So I call, they found her but didnt have the old glasses. Talked to manager, let him know that yes I did drop off the glasses.....was offered 50 percent off another pair. We have put on 500 miles due to screw ups on their end.....they apparently lost the glasses and now put it on me and Im now out glasses and my money. This was a horrible experience, I would never recommend this place to anyone.
My prescription that they gave me was incorrect and then I took very ill and was hospitalised and so could not get rechecked for free in the 3 months they gave me. Was told they were going to charge me now, but I wouldnt want to risk the same problem again. Go else where if you want to get it done right.
I would recommend that no one use shopkos optical deptartment for any reason whatsoever. My experience in just trying to schedule an eye exam was met abruptly by one young man telling me they had incorrect insurance information on file and would not be able to verify my proper insurance and would not help me figure out how to do so. So after calling my insurance, and the insurance that was in question and verifying with both companies that i only have the ONE insurance policy i attempted to bring my insurance card in person and try to again set up an eye exam . At this point i was greeted by a staff member by the name of LYNDA who offered no helpful suggestions, and did nothing but shove a piece of paper in my face that shows whats in their system . Lynda was so disrespectful to me i left the store in tears after she told me i was wasting her time ans walked away from me ! I have never been treated so rudely in such a setting . Her behaviors were completely unprofessional and unaccommadating and i really hope she doesnt treat other consumers the way i was treated today . Called both store manager amd optical dept manager and got nothing but an apology . STILL GETTING THE RUN AROUND AS TO WHICH INSURANCE THEY HAVE ON FILE !
