We used Nicks catering for my husbands 50th birthday party and the food was wonderful! The lasagna is the best around. I highly recommend all there food and the family is wonderful! Very caring people.Thank you for such wonderful food.

Nicks was recommended to me for their gluten-free products. I called to see what items they had that were both gluten-free and dairy-free, as my three-year-old has Celiac Disease and a milk protein intolerance. The employee who answered the phone was not sure and put me on hold to find out. When she returned, she informed me that all gluten-free bakery goods are also dairy-free except for the cream puffs. I clarified that the cookies are also dairy-free and was told that they are. I made the 25 minute drive to Nicks with my two kids. We picked out all sorts of goodies including cookies. As we were checking out, I double checked that they were gluten-free and dairy-free. The employee wasnt sure and asked the owner. He said, Well, theres butter in them, so of course theres dairy. I informed him that I had called the day prior before making a lengthy trip there and told him the response I had gotten on the phone. He simply replied, No, thats wrong. Of course theres dairy. Look, chocolate chips. Of course theres dairy. in an irritated tone. No apology; no offer at a discount on the bread, which was dairy-free. Now to try to cheer up my poor three-year-old who doesnt understand why he cant have a cookie.

I visit here almost once a month for the gluten free rolls, gf cream puffs and cookies, gf calzone and lasagna. Everything is DELICIOUS! They have the BEST gluten free pizza! We have been buying some meat there too and it is so fresh! My husband bought a regular pizza there today and said it was better than his favorite pizza place. The owner Nick is great and very personable.

Both my wife and I have celiac, the gluten-free pizzas around here are pretty much frozen, factory pressed crackers for a crust with some pizza toppings. Nicks has the best gluten-free pizza Ive had so far, ever. Its priced reasonably, and it really is like pizza. Anybody who has to eat gluten free will know what Im talking about. Love this place, great people too.

I definitely give Nick’s deli a five star, I ordered the steak sub it was absolutely delicious and I loved the the homemade aspect. Nick personally spoke to me well I waited for the sub and it was nice to hear some of his stories of running a family business all these years. I also had the Mac salad and that too was fantastic. Great job Nick and crew keep up the good work!

Subs were expensive and extremely small..charged extra for mushrooms and peppers on a steak sub and had hardly of either on it..also skimpy on the steak and cheese as well!

I work here and get to try just about everything they have to offer. The food is great and almost everything is made fresh. I know everyone who works there takes pride in offering great food and great customer service. They have the best pizzas around with nothing but fresh ingredients and toppings. Try there home made Sicilian sauce that only someone from Italy can make just right. There family owned and operated. Im proud to work for Nick and to be apart of theyre family

Terrible customer service, the owner himself is a VERY rude and nasty individual. I literally asked for a couple pats of butter for the bread roll I purchased along with all the other items that totaled over $50, he looked at me like I asked for his first born and proceeded to say We dont give butter its for catering only not to mention the poor girls that work there are talked to like dirt under his feet.First & last time I will ever go to this disgrace of a place!

Ordered online and went in to pick up. Ordered one sandwich on gluten free bread which was $12. No problem. Got the order home and the gluten free sandwich had no veggies on it at all. Just meat and cheese. Upon calling the store the owner was rude and unhelpful. He claimed the gluten free sandwiches came that way. $12 for a half sandwich with just meat and cheese is ridiculous. Veggies are gluten free. The attitude and rudeness from the OWNER of an establishment is unacceptable! Will NEVER go back!!!!

First off we felt completely rushed while in your establishment. Young lady helping us in green shorts seemed very annoyed to be there. Asked her what came on a certain sandwich and she didn’t know - just said some stuff. I asked if there was Genoa salami she said yes it just normal salami. Too bad there not a normal salami. Took about 13 minutes to make a COLD sub that was thrown together and only half of it had been ate. First and last time coming there. Think she might even had been training a new person. Not a good start for her.

To say I was extremely disappointed with Nicks tonight is an understatement. I went in there around 5:15, I had one gentleman picking up an order ahead of me. The phones were non-stop, and the girl at the register asked what I needed. I told her I needed something from the deli among other things, she said someone would be with me shortly. Then another woman comes in who obviously knows the owner. He came out of the back, (finally), totally bypassed me (I had been there close to 10 minutes by this time), and waited on this woman who had more than just a pick up. Meanwhile hes trying to help the girl answer the phones, he rings this woman out, and waits on another customer, when I was the one up front, and about 4 people had walked in in the meantime. I was obviously first in line, (I was up to the register and he saw me )so at that point I spoke up and said I was next...and that I was waiting for the deli. The owner proceeds to tell me that he just doesnt have time for the deli right now. I was shocked and said that I wish you would have told me so I wouldnt be standing here to close to 15 minutes. I get that they were busy, however, he had NO idea what else I was going to order, and yet he tells me that he doesnt have time to slice any deli meats and basically DISMISSED me. The woman that cut in front of me knew I was there first,she walked in AFTER I did, but I figured she was picking up.......no big deal. I also have ordered a lot of things from here for work, now I will reconsider. I just dont understand how the owner could dismiss me like that, instead of taking a few minutes to help me. He obviously doesnt have any customer service skills. If he had told me to hold on and he would get to me, I would have waited....no problem. But he didnt, and Im truly disappointed in the way he handled this.

Ordered the Showstopper the other day. It was by far one of the best steak subs I have ever had. Highly recommended.Will be returning for more!

The subs are incredible here. I ordered an Italian assorted and they had it made very quickly. You can taste the seeds that were toasted in the bread. They are generous with the amount of meat they put in the sub which is hard to find these days. Glad I tried this location and be this is my go to spot for subs now.

We discovered this place last week and have been here three time times. Absolutely love the Italian assorted sub and the American assorted subs so far. Have yet to try a hot tub because of how amazing their cold subs are so far, but well get there eventually! Besides their amazing subs weve also had their pastries. Oh my God, theyre amazing. Ive never had an eclair so STUFFED with custard before and I fell in love. My husband has been getting the chocolate dipped cannolis and they are so good as well. We have been disappointed lately with the sub selection are here, but this place does no disappoint! Plus, they have so much more here too. They have a little convenience store inside and also have a fresh meat counter as well. Im incredibly impressed with this place and will definitely be trying more items on the menu.

As a life-long resident of Chili, I know there is no shortage of Italian cuisine in town. However, Nicks has the absolute best tasting food in the area in my opinion. The pastas are cooked to perfection, the sauce is incomparable to nearby eateries, the pizza crusts are the perfect flavor and texture, and the prices are perfectly fair for the amount and the quality of food you get. If you havent tried Nicks yet, I suggest you do. The Friday night fish fry and fresh ground cheeseburgers are a regular part of my diet, and I look forward to them every week. The gluten free bread and dinner options are also amazingly delicious, I have yet to find celiac safe foods with such a good taste. 5/5 stars

Pizza here is great - get the Sicilian tomato sauce instead of the standard and your belly will be even happier. Ordering takeout by phone is a better bet than trying to use the online system. Also, fabulous cannolis! And Nicks family olive oil you can fill your bulk bottles with...all good stuff

I have been craving tortellini Alfredo all day and couldnt wait for dinner. Came in to say hi to the owner who is super nice. The place looks simple like a deli, but the food options are real dinner with real passion and fresh ingredients. This is a business that really cares about the food they serve.

The owners here are wonderful people. They have a great selection of gluten free items! Cookies, cupcakes, pies, breads, pizza and some frozen lasagna that is amazing!!!! My kids also love their regular food and wings....Anthonys special sauce is #1!!!

The food is absolutely incredible. This is hands down the best spaghetti Ive ever had in my life. The chicken parmesan and the Italian sausage with peppers are both some of the tastiest entrees that my fiancé and I have ever eaten.The guy who took our order was so generous in giving us a discount, because he knew we were looking for catering for our wedding.Overall, a 5-star experience. we are definitely going to come back!

Nicks has excellent home made cooking Italian food. Its a great place for a great take home meal and dont forget to bring home some desserts. There out of this world. Its a family owned business with friendly customer service. It truly is a great experience.

My son has super sensitive celiac disease. We went to Nicks last night and got a gluten free lasagna and meatballs. It was quite good but my son had a reaction to it. Its a shame because it is so difficult to find places to eat that dont cross contaminate the food. We have gotten the pizza before and had no problems. Perhaps it depends on who is preparing the foods on any particular day. I guess we wont be able to risk it again.

I love this place. All of their food is great. Especially love the pizza, steak subs, and mac salad. Im not much of a planner, or homemaker, so this is also my go-to place for getting a side dish to pass for summer get togethers. I just stop in on my way to the event and buy enough of that delicious mac salad to share with all! They are definitely a staple in Chili, they were here before Target and Wegmans, and all the other places that came in AFTER Chili Center was already a more developed area.

Absolute best subs and even pizza in the area. Friendly staff and prices are fair. Will continue being my go to place when we don’t feel like cooking haha

As most with Celiac or gluten intolerance know, bread isnt quite as good without gluten. This place makes the best gluten free subs I ever had. I had three in just the last 7 days. I noticed they have other gluten free options like lasagna and deserts. Ill be trying those next.

Ordered a meatball sub. It was unbelievably delicious! Homemade meatballs and meat sauce and sub roll. If you love homemade Italian food you will not be disappointed at Nicks.

My wife bought a fillet loin a couple weeks ago. Nick (the owner) asked her How would you like this cut? She specified how thick. He did not tell her that he was going to charge her $7.50 to cut it (this took about 5 minutes... $90.00 an hour in my calculations). When I called to complain, he said Well I really dont make any money selling it at this price, and I will not refund the $7.50.Well, guess what... I will never shop there again, nor will my 5 married kids and everybody else Im telling this story to. Nick, for $7.50, you have lost thousands of dollars annually.

Walking into Nicks Imports & Meat Market, you know right away that youre in an Italian market. Display cases full of homemade Italian pastries and cookies on the right (the cannolis were my favorite) and a meat cooler to the left with delicious looking cuts of pork chops, boneless chicken, Italian sausage and steaks. Their subs were amazing with their fresh sub rolls made right in the restaurant. They also have a nice patio outside to eat when the weather is nice.I look forward to eating there again soon.

Place has amazing gluten free stuff which I have had cuz my wife. Shocking actually..... it has that homemade everything taste. Make a good sauce too.

I have literally been going here off and on for over 30 years. Great food when they get your order right. Constantly screwing up your order and when you complain, the snotty teenage staff will just give you an attitude. Even have had difficulties with Nick himself in the past. He makes excuses for his clueless staff and thinks that makes it all OK. The young Nick is the best to deal with. Unfortunately, this is the last time youre screwing up my order. I know, you dont care Nick, so Ill take my business and recommendations elsewhere.

I really, really wanted to like the pizza here, but I found it to be pretty average. It was pretty doughy to me (possibly undercooked a little bit? Not sure.)The cannolis I got were excellent and the people seemed nice, so that definitely helped the experience. Id probably try their pasta next time.

Went to Nicks on Friday 3/10/17 for four take out fish fries. ($46) Food was absolutely disgusting. Fish was under cooked and batter mushy. French fries soggy and tasteless. The roll was placed on the bottom of the take out box and bottom of roll was wet and mushy. Coleslaw was just ok but far from delicious. I would stay as far away from this place as I could. Wegmans across the street will be a much better choice. GROSS!

Probably the best gluten free bread sub rolls and pizza crust in town. My wife was recently diagnosed with celiacs, so weve been on the hunt. This place had been recommended by several people. Its a bit of a drive out to Chili, but so worth it. They have frozen gluten free items to go as well as fresh subs and pizza to order. Obviously, lots of other amazing options for the gluten tolerant. I got my favorite custom sub, inspired by Jims Steakout in Buffallo: cheesesteak sub add buffalo chicken fingers and blue cheese. So yum! Their regular sub rolls are amazing too.

I have Celiacs and often dont have time to pack my lunch! This place is a lifesaver! The owners know what theyre doing for gluten free, and even have a gf fish fry the 3rd Thursday of the month. Love this place!!!

We love nicks! My son has celiac disease so he cannot eat gluten. Nicks has a huge gluten free menu and its sooo delicious! This is the only place we trust to prepare our food properly so my son doesnt get sick.

Local family owns and runs an Italian deli and bakery, which is unremarkable except to the local gluten free community because nicks has some of the best italian gluten free food in the Rochester metro. There is no other option that I know of to get a sub gluten free. They also have a wide variety of imported gluten free pastas, which stack up well with options at Wegmans. The only gluten free fish fry in the metro area is on Thursdays and is pretty good to this none gluten free eater (my wife has celiac).

The younger owner/manager has always been fantastic...the older not so much after bringing home a newborn I ordered a small amount of food 39$ .through only my own fault grabbed the wrong order.I only asked to reimbursed for 8$wings unfortunately I couldnt be refunded because he had to remake a pizza. So basically I paid 38$ for two drinks Cannoli and cookie.its not the money its the principle in business.you lost a ten year customers (and his 3kids) I purchased wings pizza desserts drinks many over the years.came home with a garlic pizza and passed out.I saw the following day all the missed calls and returned them. Its not about money.not even a small amount.its one hundred percent about service and respect.I received neither after getting ten years of both

This is the fourth time going here to get steaks, only to be told no one can cut it? With 5 people working, how can not a single person know how to cut meat at a deli?!?! The owners need to train their female employees and stop being sexist!!

Very bad customer service. They forgot to give me part of my order which I paid for. I called them as soon as I arrived home and discovered I didnt get everything I paid for. They took down my information and told me they would make up for it on my next order. A few weeks go by and I decided to order again, however they told me that it had been too long and they would not make good on the previous order. If I had kept the receipt I would sue them on principle for the cost of the food I paid for and never got.

I worked for him for 3 days...a year and a half later he has yet to pay me...he owes me $140.When my husband went in and asked for it he says no he wants a reason why I didnt call or come back in...I have never ever walked out on a job...I am not gonna go and tell you exact reasons why I did not go back but I am a very neat and clean person..Some things disgusted me..you had my address you could of mailed it..dont discredit me..i am a good person...I didnt keep any bodys money..we can really go there if you want..You holding my money for a year and a half shows what kind of person you really are...
